  • New customer service handler, new answer - they keep passing this around like a hot potato

  • it is a long winded email offering me a copy (pdf?) of complaints procedure for FREE
  • My immediate reply - I am not prepared to cancel my plans to wait around - and will not book another appointment until this is resolved.

    i think they were offering to post you a copy (so free postage)?
    Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott

    It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?

    Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.
  • This is getting funnier by the day! See if you can get them to explain why they have said (in chronological order):

    1) they had no record of your appointment;
    2) the appointment was cancelled due to no available resources;
    3) engineer did visit but had touch pad issues;
    4) the engineer did, indeed, fail to attend.

    They can't all be true!

    Agree ridiculous! However if their latest position is that the engineer failed to visit, that's the most favourable to you. In your position I might reply asking them to pay the £60 compensation promptly, based on their written confirmation that the engineer failed to visit and exceeding the 10 working days.
    Leave the actual sequence of events to a separate complaint through their complaints procedure in how many times you had to chase with their spurious, changing responses - with the hope being an apology and/or goodwill gesture.

    they also couldn’t find my address on the system 🙈 until I showed them a letter send by them to my address 🤡

    at least they reply promptly 🤓

    Mine came at 8:30 this morning and both fitted in just under 2 hours.
    His touch pad or ipad thing was working. He also plugged something in a socket that gave out a ringing sound. Says socket tester online.
    I like the in home display.
    Hope you get some clarity soon.
  • They emailed me today about cancelling the booking for 4 days ago

  • My last and final reply before taking it up to the Ombusdman
