    Thanks.
What amount have you saved so far this month?
I have saved £41.00 plus a few odd coins….Hope I have it right for January, February and March…please tell me if I am incorrect.
    Tank you.
You are doing well.  I have you down as having saved up to end of March with £41.00 which is actually slightly above the target.  At this rate you will finish the challenge by Easter ;)

  • Hello everyone, so many people joining in this year. Thank you @enthusiasticsaver for taking over this for me, I could never have kept up with this amount of people.

    #6 adding £70.68 please
Brilliant and well done.  Is that £70.68 for August or just a random amount for January?

It is a popular challenge this year so glad I could help.

  • Helllooo! Number 79… total saved to date is £41.15

    Just been choosing random numbers!
     :D:smiley:
  • hi
extremely good idea and saving for the future,
correct me if I'm wrong, but  the latter part of the year you are saving the most money  nov/dec?
i take the other option of saving a penny a day for each date of the month, so you spread out your savings throughout the year
slightly less money at the end, but more affordable for the full year.
    cheers

Yes you are right although some of us are doing it in a different  order so the most expensive months will not necessarily be saved at the end of the year.  Personally I intend doing November and December over the next 2 months when there is no council tax.

Your way sounds different again although if you mean 1p for each date that presumably will mean around £4.65 each month assuming a 31 day month?  Or have I got that wrong? In other  words 1p for the 1st, 2p for 2nd and so on until 31p for  31st? Not a problem though if that works better for you.  Have you already signed up for the challenge?
