You are doing well. I have you down as having saved up to end of March with £41.00 which is actually slightly above the target. At this rate you will finish the challenge by EasterAnna_v said:

hi
extremely good idea and saving for the future,
correct me if I'm wrong, but the latter part of the year you are saving the most money nov/dec?
i take the other option of saving a penny a day for each date of the month, so you spread out your savings throughout the year
slightly less money at the end, but more affordable for the full year.
cheers0 -

Yes you are right although some of us are doing it in a different order so the most expensive months will not necessarily be saved at the end of the year. Personally I intend doing November and December over the next 2 months when there is no council tax.philllowe said:hi

Your way sounds different again although if you mean 1p for each date that presumably will mean around £4.65 each month assuming a 31 day month? Or have I got that wrong? In other words 1p for the 1st, 2p for 2nd and so on until 31p for 31st? Not a problem though if that works better for you.
