Good morning happy savers although a pretty damp and muddy one here in Cornwall.  I have quickly flicked my way through the thread and allocated new numbers to our recent recruits.  Thanks to @mark55man for holding the fort in my absence. 

Lots of reports so I have updated the ones I have seen but will go through and read the posts in full over today to make sure I havent missed anything.

So we are at the end of week 1.  If anyone is saving and wants to report weekly please remember to embolden and quote your reference number. 

With almost 100 savers now it will save me time finding you on the spreadsheet. 

Personally I am saving monthly but I am impressed with how many different ways people are coming up with to save for the challenge.  

Let me know if you can think of any other ways.  

1  Going forward starting in January with .01p and finishing in December with £3.65
2  Going backward starting with £3.65 and finishing with .01p
3  Random order either in days or months or using a random number picker.  (I am doing random months according to  my budget)
4  A mixture of going forward, backward or random.

Could I please join the challenge.
Have transferred 36p for first week up to and including today, but will do random amounts through the year and tick off the chart so as not to end up with a very expensive December!

Welcome and I have added you to the list.  You are number 92.  Like you I am doing the months randomly too.  No council tax in February and March so I am opting to do December and then November in the next 2 months.

I'm randomly allocating cash (pockets, sofas & rounding down bank ac s) and using a coloured marker to have fun with the grid!!

am rather pleased i figured out the [Bold] text bit, but dont think i'm allowed a sig yet 🙂

Well done on week 1 progress   It is amazing how much money we can find scattered around the house.  

Excellent emboldening too and that has made it very easy to find you.  Spreadsheet updated.

I am potting random amounts. A few days ago I potted a £3.65, £3.64, £3.63, plus some odds so something had been contributed each day. Today I potted 6p, representing 3 crosses off my chart (1,2,3p).When I start back at work this week, I should have more cash lying around, instead of scrabbling through purses, on the floor, in the washing machine for it
