Another quiet week, I'm now on my 3rd NSD in a row and the diet is going well. First weigh in and I lost 7.5lbs. I know a lot of that will be water and I won't expect too much as I only really need to lose about another 8lbs. If I can get 4 of them before holidays that would be great.
I did a Morrisons Click and Collect the other day, first time using it and I had £15 off a £60 shop. I managed to spend £60.03 and feel like I got quite a lot for that. As we are both just drinking shakes for breakfast and lunch all we need is dinner and milk.
I'm going to make a £647 payment to the Virgin tonight so that will knock a big chunk off the figure.
Extra income is slow, Prolific isn't paying out and I have about £20 pending but no new surveys.3 -
Well done on the weight loss that’s more than half a stone that’s brilliant!! Also well done on the Virgin payment that’s a huge amount to knock off in one go!Pay off debt by Xmas 2023 #23My debt free diary https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6436651/clearing-my-debt-after-25-years#latest

@Jrcoal5 the 0% deal ends at the end of July so I'm currently having to budget that much just to get it gone in time. To be honest it will be a big relief when that goes next month.
I have paid that this morning so thats a massive chunk of the debt and total is now down to £56,198.20. I'm just £50 off having paid £10k back since December. While that feels great, I often think what I could have been doing with that money if I didn't have all this debt. But whats done is done!Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42

to totally agree I kick myself daily about all the things we could have or be doing if we didn’t have debt to pay off and been paying it for 25 years! I also have nothing to show for it either! Happy Friday!!!
It's been another long week. Not sure if its dragging because I'm really looking forward to my holiday now.
I've had a really good week money wise. Prolific has picked up again. I have £16 ready to be paid and another £21 pending. There is a survey that I did 3 weeks ago for £7 that still hasn't paid up so that should go to paid today as I'm sure they only have 3 weeks to pay you.
I completed a mystery shop for £14 yesterday and I have 2 today, one paying £12 the other one only £5 but I get reimbursed for £15 of groceries.
The only money spent this week has been on groceries and thats about £60. I am going to top my car up with diesel today. I have 3/4 of a tank left but I have a lot of travelling to do next week plus its only £136.9 where I'm working this week.
Right, time to get up and ready. Have a fabulous Friday!!Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42

Lovely to hear you sounding so upbeat.I Believe.....
That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.
Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery
Today is a gift. That's why it is called the present.
happiness isn't achieved by getting extra things,
but by getting rid of the things that make you unhappy0 -
A second check in today. I've managed to complete a couple of mystery shops and £25 worth of surveys on Prolific today. I've decided to wait until the end of the month to cash out to make a big impact rather than paying off little bits daily.
I also have enough tokens on Shoppix to cash £5 but I may keep going on that too as the more tokens you get the more value is attached to them.
I think I'm going to switch my new Natwest account to a First Direct for the switch bonus too. I have only had the Natwest about 10 weeks and wouldn't do it if it I was looking for new credit but I can't turn down the £175 and £30 Amazon voucher.
Does anyone else have an account they use purely for switching all the time?Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42

I’ve never been brave enough to switch my current account and it seems like a chew to get my employer to change my wages account, I would be interested in learning more about having a particular account just for switching and how that works xxPay off debt by Xmas 2023 #23My debt free diary https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6436651/clearing-my-debt-after-25-years#latest

The bank switch does all that for you. You don't even need to inform your employer.
I've just done it. Me and DH have an account we use just to switch so we've made £920 this year from it.Total debt when my journey began in December 2022- £66,133.42
