we have just returned from visiting friends we haven’t seen in 5 years……had a wonderful time! Lots of food and drink and talking. A visit to a beach where the dogs swam in the sea, Sunday lunch in the local pub……lovely!
today is a sleep day, the unpacking and washing can wait!

I rearranged the stuff in my kitchen cupboards and fridge over the weekend. I did throw away a few out of date things.

I just jet washed the decking, garden storage boxes, bench and bins. It took quite about 40 mins so I'm not going to leave it so long next time. The more you do it the less time it takes. I need a cold drink now.

So I have been out of action for a month- I seem to have alighted at an abandoned station but I have found my way back! I must remember about the TLC carriage next time I am feeling ill. Not much go in me still so I am restarting gently. 

Unfortunately, a load of food had to be binned from the fridge because I am the only person who keeps an eye on perishables. I got Mr MV to do that actually, as really he should have been on top of the food side of things. 

Also out, are a pair of old flip flops and some sandals which have cracked across the sole. I am going to brave throwing away my black leather heels too because they have started to flake inside. I didn’t even know that could happen 🤷‍♀️ 
Lots of clutter has built up on the horizontal surfaces as I haven’t been doing my daily clearing of them but I am gradually dealing with these. I have now put all the out of date community newsletters in the recycling and filed the post. 

I have dealt with a frog today and put in for a claim. 

A lot of spiders are being evicted but obviously they just come back in. It means I can dust away their webs temporarily though. 

The recent hot weather was great for getting through the backlog of laundry. 

Slowly and hopefully on the up 😊

Hola from Malaga. 32 just now. We went out this morning before it was too hot. Setting off soon for Vigo. 598 miles. Through the straights of Gibraltar and back into the Atlantic. 

 I have not worn a lot of the clothes, shoes, bags I brought on the trip. They will be donated in the near future. Those cruise shoes I have taken with me through 4 house moves are just too uncomfortable since a foot operation.

  I made a purchase today. A traditional Spanish fan. A life saver on the bus. Other than water that is all I have bought the whole trip. 

 I have read one and a half paper backs. One from my DIL is her favourite book ever!!!! It is called Perfume, has anyone read it? I am enjoying the one from DS much more. 

 It took me a week to relax and let all my stress go. I am lay by the pool just now with a cold drink. 🚢🥤
