Thanks @foofoopuppy Ziggy is wonderful ❤️.
Thanks Mrs SD, yes the administrator announced it on f-book the amount that had applied to do the challenge. Some of the figures raised are amazing. I have managed £150 so far (this is the target they set) but the administrators are so lovely and they really are grateful for every penny. I had a rough idea of what mnd was but looked further into it last week and it is frankly terrifying. Hopefully a lot of money will be raised collectively and there will be happier news for people in the future who have the misfortune of having this nasty illness.

The furniture has been fully rearranged and the exercise bike brought upstairs so the living room is clear again, although now needs a good hoover.
I still can't really see the weightloss, but I know it is happening. I can now fit into 2 dresses and 1 skirt that I couldn't before 🥳
I have managed to release a fair few items of clothes as well, including 3x skirts that are really a bit short for the office, 5x dressy dresses from my last job that had far more evening events than my current one, and 6x casual or work dresses that don't suit me, and now my wardrobe includes other dresses that it didn't before I can let them go and still have enough to rotate. Plus one pair of boots.
It has been a very busy weekend, but I'm glad it is mostly done. Mr Puppy has been very helpful in helping sort everything and shift heavy things, so he gets a medal from me haha16 -
Good evening. Just a quick post. DH still isn't up to doing the garden, he's still having pain in his shoulder and is constantly asleep. So to make sure today wasn't wasted I asked him to sort me the tops of the kitchen cupboards but he suggested we started on the utility/store room first as then the stuff can go into there and every time we move anything, absolutely everything falls off the shelfs so started with the middle shelf as its the one full of baking tray, tupperware, electrical items.
Took everything off, the dishwasher has been on at least 6 times as everything is so dusty in there. Some bits binned and the whole shelf wiped down.
Just started to put things back when DD3 asked if she could go on a walk, no way she's going alone at half 6 so i went for a walk with her. Will finish the shelf tomorrow. I can't believe all the odd tupperware bits and at the minute I only have a few bits I haven't managed to partner (and I can't believe how much we actually have!).

Plants planted today so that’s one job of the to do list.Built the new garden sofa (much muttering about misaligned holes and s*dding Allan keys). I aspire to one day having furniture delivered to me already built. One chair still to build and then a round of screw tightening is anticipated.I’ve a week off this week so will be attempting to get my tax self assessment completed. I also need to write up my expression of interest in a new role. It’s mostly done but I’d given it to my line manager to review too and add any comments/ideas.Apart from that I have very very little planned and it’s wonderful!✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Loving the Stone Circle talk. I'm clearly not alone in finding Stonehenge underwhelming and I quite agree that the ones that you can go into are the best ones - I loved Castlerigg in Cumbria. Avebury has long been on my list of places to visit - clearly it needs to go straight to the top

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Finally back 😉 I have picked 3 frogs to deal with next week & I am giving serious consideration to the 4th which needs a bit of work + needs DLR to be in service 😉 The rain did come - started about 15:30 & hasn’t really let up since 😞 I did a couple of non essential jobs this afternoon whilst watching TV. The first was to sort out my peg bag 😂 Went through the old pegs & got rid of all the damaged ones & added my new wooden pegs 😉 22 damaged pegs taken apart - plastic bits binned & metal bits added to metals pile for Tip + also added blunt carving knife. 2nd task was updating my iPad calendar. Neither task was urgent but both were quite satisfying 🤣 Watched the 1974 version of The Great Gatsby for the first time ever - a tad long but I really enjoyed drooling over a young Robert Redford when he finally appeared 😉 Dinner was fried pork steaks with mash, cabbage & green beans. Wudupa.
1713 - 1717 Kitchen recycling, drinks cans, cardboard box, paper packaging, cardboard packaging - recycled
1718 - 1719 Kitchen detritus, plastic peg pieces - binned
1720 - 1721 Metal peg bits, blunt carving knife added to Tip pile
Floss, a haunted pub - how exciting 🙂
Florenceem, sorry to hear that the open air service was cancelled 😔 M sounds like a lovely lady may she rest in peace. Hope the youngsters enjoyed the carnival despite the rain 😊
short_bird, thanks for the additional recommendations of places to visit 👏 Sorry to hear that you have restricted work hours next month so I understand why you are taking the opportunity to work any hours offered in July 😔 Excellent & eclectic decluttering 👏
Brie, really enjoying the conversation about stone circles 😊 What a wonderful photo to have - good job there were no Druids about 😂 Excellent sorting & disposing of paperwork 👏You have earned a medal 🏅 for sticking with it & an added bonus of being able to declutter a small table aka a “clutter magnet” 👏
Thank you so much for the beautiful photos ~FlowerPot~ 👏
bit_by_bit, sorry to hear you have such a nasty lurgy 😔 However, I can see from the rest of your post that you are pushing on & tidying DS3’s home whilst cat sitting 👏 Excellent decluttering & tidying 👏 but please do not hamper your recovery by doing too much 🙏 I am though still awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️ for being so generous with your time & getting permission 😉 Good luck with your 4 ongoing projects 🍀
Definitely loving the ongoing conversation about stone circles & haunted pubs 😊 Thanks to Floss, carolbee, Brie, -taff & EnergyShifter 👏😊
Dfw38, fingers crossed you will get even more sponsorship 🤞 As you say a “frankly terrifying disease” & the more research the better.
Excellent work moving furniture & decluttering your wardrobe Foofoopuppy 👏 and congratulations on the weight loss & toning 🥳 I am awarding Mr Puppy a medal 🏅 & I am awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️
charlies_tribe, so sorry to hear that DH is still suffering with his shoulder 😔 Sounds like DH picked an excellent place to start decluttering & cleaning 😊 Well done on making such a good start in the utility/store room - good teamwork 👏 Hope you enjoyed the walk with DD3 😊
Excellent work in the garden florianatwobob 👏 Not only planting but also building 😊 What a great aspiration to have - ready built furniture 😊 Hopefully you can get both the tax self assessment form & the expression of interest letter completed quickly so that you can enjoy your week off 🤞😊
Hope everyone sleeps well & I will see everyone later 👋

Mrs SD I will join you in doing 4 frogs this week. I will have a look at my Big List later and pick 4 off it.
Not as much done last week as planned due to fatigue levels. Feeling better today so will get started on tidying the kitchen up a bit, some meal planning so I know which vegbox to order and a few other little bits and pieces so I can get started on some bigger things tomorrow.

Good morning. We did enjoy our walk thank you Mrs SD. It was absolutely throwing it down but gave me a chance to talk to her about how she's feeling. Her and her best friend were inseparable and she was a regular fixture here but she's just moved away. I think DD3 is sort of grieving, she's been doing some really long (2 hours+) walks by herself this weekend.
This morning I've cleaned the electrical appliances and they've gone back on the shelf. I've got a sink full of stuff soaking that couldn't go in the dishwasher. I've put to one side an air fryer, a kettle, a toasties maker and the burnt out veg steamer (not sure why that even went back). They are multiples of things we already have and aren't needed so will check them and give away or take to tip. I've used one of the boxes DH bought for the dog cupboard to house all tge tupperware. It takes up a lot more room than it did but its all useable as stacked neatly with the correct lids on instead of all just thrown loose inside the bigger tubs/all over the shelf. When the stuff from the sink goes back that's shelf 1 finished and will start shelf 2.
Not sure how far I'll get as think DD1 is visiting with DGD.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554

@QueenJess Was it you who mentioned a listing system for books, and or music, I’ve tried to look back but this is such a lovely busy thread i am a bit lost!
if you could remind me that would be lovely thanksCarolbee14 -
2 wheelchairs, 1 rollater & a wheelchair ramp cleaned up and in the carport ready for someone to check out and hopefully take away this afternoon. I've had my wrist slapped by Freegle for telling someone I'd like £50 for the better wheelchair. It was me responding to her request rather than me posting it to sell but I get it being against the rules. Once they're gone the clutter magnet table can be moved in to the carport too.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
