Mostly been lurking this week due to the day job (working tonight and tomorrow): I have 15 hours work in the month of August so making the most of what I can get. Have managed 22 no spend days - and sold my ticket for an event in Glasgow so I didn't have to shell out for hotel and travel - and then my phone needed replacing so good thing I didn't go away or I'd be really broke.
Where were we? Scores on the doors are:
2803-2809: 350 emails deleted.
2810-2851: 41 GB data deleted
2852- 2885: items to recycling
2886-2355: items to bin
2356: shredding
2357: wrangled new phone into life = juggling info from 2 phones and PC...
2358: hopefully changed mobile supplier as current supplier packing it in.
2359: cleared junk mail from communal hallway into recycling bin.
Deferred decisions now up to 338 older items disposed of.
Still haven't seen either Barbie or Oppenheimer so that's the plan for this week, hopefully things will have calmed down.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.

OH is a big fan of stone circles and we've visited quite a few from Cornwall to the Lake District. He's even got a photo of himself as a youngster lying on one of the stones at Stonehenge as if he's about to be sacrificed!!! I've only seen SH from a hill above it or when driving by but have really enjoyed Avebury.
Meanwhile I had received some info about one of my pensions so decided to have a look through everything I started a year back when I was trying to put everything in to play (didn't work....). I think I've got my head around it and will be able to sort the finances especially as I've spent about 2 hours today going through all the trays of paper, multiple copies of different pensions sent to me different years (only need the most recent for each). Net result is a bin full of paper to go in the recycling, a small stack of things that need to be shredded and a small table that now has no reason to remain in the house as I was just using it to stack all the paperwork on!! I've still got one tray of paperwork to go through but it's to check online that it's no longer needed so I'm well pleased with my work.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Popping by to reprot in re what I ahve been up to. If I am honest not a lot as I have had a lurgy which makes me dizzy and nauseated. Means I have to lie down and listen to audio books.
However DS3 and his partner and kids have gone off on holiday leaving an almighty mess behind. I am cat sitting and so have already sorted their lounge and their veranda out. There are two bedrooms and their kitchen yet. I have thrown a lot of stuff they won't be too sad about as I am replacing it with newer.
I have taken some banana boxes as well as some proper underbed storage boxes for the stuff they have in drawers that they don't use much. Ther are hardly any clothes in the drawers. They are in bags all over the flat or all over the floor. 2 large items claimed for the storage boxes as they are large and were mine. They obviously need help. They know I am doing this so no worries about upsetting anyone.
Also 4 bags of in and outs to the charity shop and 4 bags of in and outs to the refugees. All in all a great week. Finally a bag of wool to a friend so she couls finish off some projects.
I am off childcare duty next week and so I have 4 on going things to do. DS3 flat clearance, work on my campervan so we can use it, catch up with the allotment and clearing the craft room enough so I can use it as a bedroom. DS1 still lives with me and I predict that his son, GS3, will be starting to stay over now his mum has nearly finished breast feeding. If it doesn't work out that is ok. I will still have done the prep.
