Mrs SD hope Mr SD got on OK
Shame about MrS in lewisbam. They're usually good but the lewisham branch has some staff lacking in customer care and some time ago had run ins there. Some good staff too.
@Dfw38 good news and well done getting sorted.
3 frogs moved along , hoping some won't become much larger. Hoping to do some decluttering this weekend and may go to my dad's to sort stuff out

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
DH finally got home at 15:30 having left at 09:05 😔 After an ultrasound & a thorough all around manual prodding & poking of his leg from groin to toes, it was confirmed that there were no blood clots 🥳 DH was then seen by a nurse who took his bp & weighed him - 6lbs lost in 3 weeks 👏 DH wanted to buy the scales 😂 Then after a 2 hour wait DH finally saw the doctor who confirmed no clots & no deep tissue damage 👏 DH has been booked in for another scan next Friday at 14:00. If that comes back clear he will be taken off the twice daily anticoagulant injections 🤞 When DH got back he went & laid on the bed with his leg raised & promptly fell asleep 😉 Meanwhile I spent the entire day in DH’s dressing gown feeling bleugh & nodding off throughout the day 😔 Fortunately I woke up in time to wake DH to get ready for his blood test appointment at the doctors. Made DH a coffee. DH left 18:30 & was back by 19:30. Dinner was risotto cakes 🤤 Wudupa.

Florenceem, pleased to hear that MrF is helping out 🙂 Sorry to hear about the loss of a long standing member 😔 If you don’t use all your old stamps, I believe the swap out scheme is still in effect 🙂
Muddy_Walker, that was a busy morning - no wonder you needed a snooze 😉
Dfw38, an excellent Friday all round 👏 Happy children & an even happier you 😊👏 I agree with Floss “what a great way to start the weekend!”
Florenceem, hope you didn’t get too wet 🤞Pleased to hear that your fabric has finally arrived 😊 I am keeping everything crossed that the weather is lovely for the wedding 🤞
TC77, rather pleased to hear that not all the staff in MrS, Lewisham are “lacking in customer care” 😉Well done on moving frogs along 👏 Wishing you a successful weekend of decluttering both at home & at your dad’s 😊
Wishing everyone a lovely weekend & hoping the weather is kind & reverts back to being summer 😊

@2Scratters great to hear!
Just had invoice from BG re homecare I don't have ! phone call made followed up by email. Crown refitted fell off within 52 hours and no appointments for a while - but one made and on cancellation list. When the rain pauses taking 2 bags to CS and returns to a homeware store as brought home options
Mrs SD thank you for the wishing of good luck and hoping this will keep me motivated. Glad to hear Mr SD has all clear on blood clots. Hope to be back later to report progress.16 -
@TC77 I'll be visiting Mr A's next time. Having spoken to a colleague who is similarly myopically challenged but goes to Mr A for varifocals, and Googled whether Mr A can accommodate astigmatism in both eyes, which I have and colleague hasn't, I am now gutted at the amount of money I have sat on my face 😢IT ONLY TAKES SMALL DAILY ACTIONSFOR MAGIC TO HAPPENRosemary Ikpeme16

Saturday 10:15 is slightly brighter than yesterday but a tad cool 😞 It appears to have rained earlier as the patio is still wet. I was up & dressed before 10:00 & I do feel a bit less fragile than yesterday 🤞
1704 - 1706 Two cardboard boxes, paper packaging - recycled
2Scratters, great news for DH 👏 Always lovely when a fellow member of the declutterati can point us in the direction of a cheaper option 😊
TC77, well done on dealing with BG so quickly - one potential frog averted 👏 Hopefully you can get the crown refitted quickly & without charge 🤞 Good luck with the decluttering 🍀
roundtuit, perhaps you can get a spare pair from As*a when funds allow 😉
See everyone later when I am a bit more awake 😉

Hi can I please ask, what does MMiM stand for?
Ive done a search, but not much came up, I need help with paper clutter, what I do and don’t need to keep , and how to keep what I have, so I won’t have a melt down next time I need to find something 😁
Im only in my 50’S but have ME/CFS plus other health problems and it’s effecting my mental ability, I have always dealt with finances and everything to do with running a home, but feel I need to share the responsibility with my husband, who is due to retire in a month, and set a good example with our 2 sons, 24 and 21 who still live at home- who I am proud to add are very savvy with money- but need to be better with there own paperwork keeping.
