Helloooo!
Oo new forum look…..🤔 I use my mobile and that big red plus button is going to annoy me…..
Very busy week including a declutter of some items in the hall including a mass eviction of cobwebs and spiders. My lovely cleaner LC made it all clean and gleaming so that makes me feel better. Second week of LC and the house feels so much different and relaxing.Managed to spend a big chunk of time in the front garden mowing the lawn and cutting the edges and it looks heaps better. This “rewilding” look that’s in vogue right now is ok but does NOT work in certain areas. In the right place and space yes but all I have noticed is an increase in pollen flies and teeny tiny moths.I’ve been very shocked at the news on Huw Edwards and saddened by the verocity of journalists attacks recently. What happened to news reporting? I’d better get off my soap box 🤣
Mrs SD sounds like a wonderful adventure you’ve been having!
Have a good weekend all 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Liverpool_Anne said:Hi all, bit of a bleugh day, rain and grey skies. Ald cancelled my 2g2g order which was a pain so nothing to report about that. I have had a long session on my emails as I had been avoiding them again as it was overwhelming so bit the bullet and got stuck in. Managed to delete 1200, filed quite a few and now only have a years worth to work through in the inbox then I can go through all the files again and get rid of some in them. Also 1 pair of socks to the rag bag.
Ln is on her way to Skye so I am in charge of post and watering pots. Luckily no watering required today
@pollyanna_26 if you find anyone who can help with recommendations for lap tops let me know, I really do need a new one

1001/2023So far two people have recommended an Acer. I haven't had one before. I miss the Dell I strarted off with years ago, That was the best of all but very different and even more expensive now.I've just had a thought while reading your post it would probably be a good idea if I began decluttering emails.I'm partway through moving house so lots of emails. I've already got hard copies of the important stuff and so does my solicitorIt's very hot here so enjoy it sunlovers I'm going to start boxing up things from the summrhouseI am too fair skinned and haired for this weather so covered in suncream , have my sunglasses and sunhat also antihistamines as the pollen is high. Can hear the combine harvesters and a lot of birds are heading towards the farms hoping to feast on spilled grain.Hope everyone has a good day. I've stocked up on almond magnums so will help myself from the chest freezer in the garage every now and then.pollyx

Was going to give away to cushions, ended up getting rid of four, so that's a win for today. Also decluttered four radiators so he new windows wont have to be cut out for the knobs to fit. I'm very very pleased about that...@Florence CCleaner won't have done anything to your web settings, it will just have cleared the cache.Check you have allowed notifcations by going to this linkclick on the bell top right and tick the boxes for your notifications..Fantastic idea Flowr Pot!Muddy, I don't see that it's anyone's business really. If they're both adults who cares what they do in front of their own computers? I'd hazard a guess that if they paid that much scrutiny to all of the MPs, they'd find a lot worse.

Afternoon all! I have been managing some decluttering around a crazy busy and a rather unpleasant week (barring Tuesday and yesterday). Managed 3 large s@insburys bag for life full of clothes to the clothing collection for school earlier this week and I have almost a boot-full of bits and pieces to go to the cs. I dropped off 3 bags to a different cs on Monday and the person there didn't even say thank you! Don't get me wrong they weren't family heirlooms but the things were all in a lovely condition and similar to the stuff they sell ordinarily. Needless to say they will not be getting my boot-full of bags!
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger I am very lucky to have generous people in my life, I realise when I re-read my post that I sounded ungrateful. I am really grateful- just panicked that I was 'full up' with stuff again after so much work. Hope Mr SD is feeling more comfortable with his knee and that you are both having a lovely adventure.
Ziggy has visibly grown and seems very happy! We have changed his food over the course of 10 days and he is loving it! I am having the day 'off' tomorrow as I feel the onset of burnout creeping in again. Hopefully a day of relaxing will help. Hope you are all well!2024 decluttering Campaign

I'm taking the opportunity while off work to slowly purge my bulging wardrobes and offloading the excess unwanted / unworn things via the local chazzers and online sales. It's been useful to have time to try things on & decide if i want to keep or get rid. I have another batch to go on Vinted, and dropped a bag off at the local Banardo's yesterday.
I've also decluttered some hair into a new hairstyle, a slightly shorter graduated bob with the plan to grow it a bit longer. I keep catching sight of it & thinking "I DO like that" 😊
I am also about to pay for some taller, deeper kitchen wall cabinets to refresh my kitchen. It is good quality white gloss slab and has been in since the houses were built in 2007; the units & worktops are still in very good nick, I just want a bit more storage. There will be a bit of a reshuffle as currently I have some shelves which will be removed for a cabinet, so need to come up with a plan for my stereo speaker and Shark battery charger (ideas on a postcard please!)

@Floss I'm glad you liked it
. I can't go back now and am chief ice cream maker. We are running low, so I am musing what I should do next time. I think I'm going to do 1 lot of vanilla and another mint choc chip.
Feeling very stressed today as behind on various stuff and the kids have been a total nightmare. Caught up on a few things just now post DD being in bed and also went through DD's books and toys upstairs. Not counted all of them in my totals as I only packaged up the books to go and 1 toy - the rest I will need to deal with another day as I've run out of energy. Sitting down now and hoping to get through some more photos.Digital:

Good evening all. Spent today making sure DD3 has everything for her school trip tomorrow. DH has been out in the garden this afternoon between the downpours.
I put some things on Vintd and a pair of trainers has sold, need to post tomorrow and another pair on the free site that have already been collected.
Still not sure about the new layout. Just seen the thanks button has moved back to the side of the report button. I don't use it for that reason, my fat fingers on my phone pressed report way to many times on my little screen.
