Hi all, sorry I fell asleep last night before I caught up with all the posts so I will do that this morning.
Yesterday I got 6 LDFPA. I was such a happy bunny having conquered mount washmoreI didn't get the last load in from the line until 9.30 but it was all dry thank goodness as it is very grey out there this morning. I have finished the blanket and OH is very pleased with it. It used just over 800g of yarn so I think I will claim 8 points for it.
OH has informed me that the painter is available next week if I want to get him in. I want the porch painting but not before I have been able to wash down the gloss which I can't reach without the ladders. Isn't it amazing how long it takes for a message to get through, yes I want my ladders back. I am not holding my breath
OH has also informed me that the sandwich tray thing we brought back from OH's sis full of sandwiches is to be kept for justin, sigh, it is quite big and I have no idea what we would use it for other than sandwiches but it has been washed and put on top of the unit as I can't think of anywhere else to put it.
I have grabbed a 2g2g box from Ald. This is the first time I have got one from there so I have no idea what it will be like, collect 9.30 this evening so I will let you know. I am just hoping it's not loads of kale as I have loads of that in the freezer already and as OH won't touch it it will take a while to use up.
Right off to make another cuppa and catch up on the posts.
Hugs to everyone who would like one
975 - 980 LDFPA
981 - 988 yarn used
Take care everyone

Wow, I well and truly fell off the EDT this time - its been over a week and I've missed so many posts.
In fairness - it's been a busy week. My prep for the Team Building day paid off - the day went really well and the Team enjoyed it. I had my first meeting as PCC secretary for my Church on Tuesday. I had an absolutely wonderful day out in Whitstable yesterday and met up with a friend who lives at the Coast.
The Whitstable charity shops were kind to me so I bought quite a few lovely bits of good quality clothing - 2 pairs of linen trousers (one black, one teal), a pink linen top and a beautiful deep blue top. I've been maintaining a 1 (in) to 4 (out) average so dipping below that made me feel uncomfortable initially but then I realised I was being silly because I actually do need some new clothes and this challenge is meant to be life enhancing not restricting! Plus I remembered my original aim was 1 in to 2 out which gives me lots of room for manoeuvre (but I need to not get carried away)
Tasks:
Paid for supervision course
IN (running total 114)
115 & 16 - 2 x linen trousers
117 & 18 - 2 x tops
119. Necklace
OUT (running total 446)

Last nights piccies - had a better signal this morning 😉
Friday is grey & overcast. I was up & dressed by 08:10, packed our bags which I didn’t do last night & then retrieved our bike jackets from the Boot Room - just sounds so decadent 😉 DH up a dressed by 08:25 & we have now put all our bits & pieces in our jackets. We have booked breakfast for 09:00
Today we are taking a circuitous route to Perth - we will do about 160 miles instead of 60 😂 Fingers crossed it doesn’t rain 🤞Hope everyone has a good day

I have temporarily moved off my phone and back onto the laptop as I reasoned that it is better to do that when I am at home as I can organise phone photos anywhere and can do them whilst waiting to pick up kids etc.All documents are finished now and I've started looking at photos on the laptop. It's actually easier than I thought as I take lots of very similar photos and I never got rid of the rubbish ones. I am curating them so I only have my favourites that I want to see again and again. They are already organised in folders, so I open all the photos in one folder so I can scroll through them together and aim to have 20% of the photos remaining. It's a tough target and again it isn't fixed, so if I have 40% left and absolutely love all of them then that's fine. It's simply a tool to really challenge myself as to whether I want all of them. The last folder I looked at I had 54 photos from one holiday, but am now left with 12 that I love. Obviously this is going to take a very long time to do, so will need to do ad hoc physical decluttering and tidying as well so the house doesn't fall by the wayside. I need to tackle either DD's toys (which I don't fancy) or try and find a small category of things to tackle in the messy library. Will report back later...In the meantime I have plenty of digital decluttering to report and I finished DD's clothes sorting really easily yesterday. I even packaged up and took a box of books to the collection point, so £7 should be coming my way for those soon.Digital:

I have mine permanently turned off, but you can change them if something has gone wrong on the forum changeover:1. Click the picture of a person at the top right of the page and then select "Account & Privacy Settings"2. When the page loads, on the right hand side there are extra links (will be the bottom if you are on a phone or possibly a tablet); click on "Notification Preferences".3. When the page loads you can change all the options. The bell means it will only show up when you log in. The in tray icon means you will receive an email. Look for "New comments on my bookmarked posts" and click the right hand box and that will make sure you get emails anytime anyone posts on the threads you have bookmarked.2025 decluttering: 3,896🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

26/52 - DH cleared the conservatory for visitors and it's made such a difference! I wish I could keep it like that. More clearing than decluttering but I know a few items went to the bin.
27/52 - I've started clearing a digital mailbox. I must have deleted 100s but have only just found the 'total' counter. I will next post when I'm down to 7000. Eek. Thanks to the person on here that suggested sorting by sender. That made 100s so much easier.
28/52 - toothbrush holder, postcard from the fridge and a microwave manual stuck to fridge to bin or recycling.15 -
Goodness! What has happened to the forum? The new format is easier to read as to print size, but needs lots more scrolling. (Is it just me, or can no one see who has “thanked” a post? The count shows, but that’s all.)
I’ve not posted for a couple of weeks as I got overwhelmed by the amount I need to do. Also I haven’t been reading along, and I’m sorry to say there’s no way I can catch up on the fifty (I think) pages I’ve missed, at least not until I’ve got used to the new format. Not a lot done:- soft plastics to s’market
- residues of medicines returned to pharmacy
- household & garden rubbish & recycling (including dead batteries) out for collection
- started to go through my books - “oh, these are quite new” I thought, then looked at publication date: 1999! I need to clear at least ten shelves in the study so I can move the same amount from the living room, where they get dusty. (Otherwise I’ll have to buy new bookshelves with backs, sides and doors.)
- bits of trimming/weeding done in gardenHoping you and your loved ones are all well and no nasty disasters have befallen anyone.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

I read on a pad thing which has a stylus, if I hover the stylus over thanks I get a list. Tapping it doesn't work for me, it only adds or subtracts my thanks
