Mrs SD, yes both boys and DH are huge fans. DS1 middle name is Luke, it would have been DD1s name had she been a boy (it didn't seem right to give him a name that should have been DDs so it became his middle name).
Quiet a few larger items have just gone in the skip so starting on that list for tomorrow. Won't start on the concrete until tomorrow, don't want to upset the neighbours.LBM in April 17 - Starting card debt £33554
Mortgage@1 June 18 - £76350
Total debt @june 18 £102311
Debt Jan 25 £8282

I think whoever came up with the name Ahsoka Tano desrves a medal, it's the best name to trip off your tongue, sound extremely exotic and fierce...

Thank you for all the wise words and reminder to be in the here and now
I think I need more than 10.mins a day
Did an hour before work , mainly putting like with like and away, have space in some cupboards bit some in recycling and bin. The delaying landfill is quite a focus. Had charity pick up 2 large items and will drop cs bag tomorrow hopefully. Take care all.

Gers, not sure that I would class maintenance decluttering as inertia 😅🤔 Great work clearing your wardrobe 👏 & it sounds like you have been brutal 🤩
The tablecloths sound beautiful 😍 so if you are donating them please remember to take photos 🙏 A wonderful motto “Memories shouldn't be invested in things when they stifle life” I have added it to my list of quotations for future reference 😉 & am awarding you a medal 🏅
Thanks so much though I feel very undeserving of such an award. And yes, I always take photos, not sure how much good they do me as they can whizz me right back into feelings of despair so I keep them on a separate drive.

Hot here today.
Mr F has got 2 forms from the post office to return stamps before the July 31st deadline. So he is in the office busy sticking them onto the form - you can send up to £200 with a form. Mr F found a lot of postage stamps when we emptied his mum's flat.
When we get a total - I will tell you.
I am cutting up some things to sew - decluttering - old towel/candy stripe sheet/parts of a vintage dress - bought years ago at a Jumble sale (I used some of the dress to clothe a rag doll) plus the leftover bits of a gypsy skirt that I wore in the 1970/1980s (I used the skirt to make myself a bucket hat last Summer) I plan to use the underskirt of the gypsy skirt for doll underwear).
I had 24 items to add to my total today.
Guesses on what I am making?

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger my comment was more around failing to be a proper parent. Everyone else knew the dates for the sports day and it was just me that got it all wrong
. It feels like my life is a big whack a mole and every time I start to get on top of something, I fail to deal with something else. Nothing ever seems to get done properly as there just isn't the time to do it all. Thank you for my star, I am wearing it with pride in my signature.
Thank you everyone else for your kind comments. Sorry for no individual mentions, but I still feel utterly exhausted today. DH is irritating me as I assumed he would be doing more now he is working fewer hours, but it just isn't the case and I get no notice of him working all this week and me on individual parent duty for 4 days. I've been struggling for weeks but DH never notices *sigh*. I told him to do the shopping this morning as we are running low on some stuff and don't have quite enough for dinner later. He then wants me to do the whole list so he can go. No. I feel terrible and told him to work it out for himself. It's not sharing the load if I do all the thinking all the time.Emails are overwhelming even to try and track how many I'm getting. So instead I'm going to try and unsubscribe or otherwise filter out at least an email a day and hope I start to notice the amount of emails falling until I can deal with them all everyday. Repotted an indoor plant this morning that has been annoying me for ages, so apart from DH's junk, it should just be the jeans to mend to finally finish my bedroom. I will also try to reorganise DS's clothes as the final piece of his bedroom. Then just the usual tidying which often leads to little bits of decluttering over the weekend. Small bits everyday as I fancy doing something at the moment until it gets done.DH got his garage cupboard delivered yesterday, so I've told DS his job is to help DH put his junk in there, but also to make sure he gets rid of some stuff. I can't face the garage at the moment, so the rest will have to wait. I did use up some indoor compost that was in there though, so that's another thing gone. I also told DH he could wash up the basket insert for the freezer in the garage and put it back in there now I've got more room in there. That would also be another thing gone. Maybe DH will also finally take the big pile of stuff to the tip that he shoves in a corner of the garage...Had some inspiration this morning on some files I had on the laptop, so loads more gone (as I can do that lying in bed/sitting down). I can see that 20,000 looming.Digital:

Just read over 100 posts and not much stuck sorry
ooh a kitten 😍
@Florenceem I agree best approach going forward is to sort finances together as if anything happens to either of you it needs to be less stressful for other one, glad he’s doing ok though just make sure to take care of yourself….I say this as s parent carer it’s hard on you15 -
Crazycatlady2 - thanks - I am having to go slowly with Mr F to stop stress. He has been very good about all the stuff that has left the house.
I haven't told him my new banking details because of him running up debts twice in our marriage.
Yesterday he said that he wants to keep his bank credit card as sometimes it is best to buy items with one. I have credit cards which I clear every month. Do I let him keep a credit card? No way is he having 7 credit cards as he has now.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
