You've carried many .bags up and down stairs so it may be something you can manage. We need to bear in mind the NHS is under a lot of pressure and it may not be able to fund two of the frames.I think you need to try lifting one you may find they aren't as heavy as you fear.polly
And as an NHS employee, I would prefer to spend on 2 frames rather than an ambulance call-out, A&E admission plus any clinical care & hospitalisation from her falling on the stairs. It's called preventative expenditure, and I don't think their local ICB will go bust for the expense of an extra frame, rather than care needed after an accident.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Sorry for not posting for a while.
I managed to declutter 11 t-shirts, 2 sweatshirts and a pair of joggers to my sister yesterday.
I've brought in 8 in a smaller size due to intentionally loosing weight.
I've a way to go before I get to the my target weight, but it's proving a little difficult to find XXL or size 20 clothing in charity shops I like.
Even at the large supermarket I'm picking up what I can, but I'm a plain Jane when it comes to clothing.
Plain black jeans, sweatshirts and t-shirts, at a push navy blue.
I only bought so many t-shirts as I'm going toy church annual conference for around week in around a month and like to have an extra t-shirt or 2 as there's no way to do clothes washing until I'm home.
I'm debating about clothes as some bits I seem to be in between sizes at the moment.

I'm not claiming expert knowledge or saying Mr F shouldn't have those aids. I don't know much about them only that florence wonderedi if . they were heavy or not. I've no idea how two different toilets on different floors can be managed but maybe one frame in place for each which should eliminate the need for carrying them up or down.sIt is better to light a single candle than to curse the darkness.
There but for fortune go you and I.10 -
Very hot here.
I did some cleaning and tidying in my craft room but still feel tired from yesterday.
Spoken to Mr F - I can't see that I will get to visit this week again - my SA officer is taking his father's funeral this week and his mum is very ill. The other people that offer me lifts are away.
I do have a busy week ahead - tomorrow - I want to finish in my craft room + take 3 bags to charity shops + buy paint for DGs J to use on Tuesday. I also need to get shopping + post Birthday cards.
On Tuesday - I have a chap coming to service the boiler and DGs J is painting the front door and inside roof of the porch so I will need to be home all day so the paint can harden with the door open.
Wednesday - my friend J really wants me to be at the lunch club to organise the volunteers.
Thursday - aids are arriving for Mr F - will be given a 2 hour window but no idea if am or pm. I will be locking up at SA in the evening.
I am waiting to hear if rails are being fitted this week.
Only photos are of my kitchen fridge.

Just to throw in my two pen’oth there is a strong possibility (based on local arrangements) that any mobility aids will be supplied from the local authority social care budget not the NHS budgets.Mr F having multiple aids will be far far more cost effective than another emergency admission, hospital stay and further rehab. As someone who works to support health & social care every OT and PT will be looking to return Mr F to pre admission baseline or as close as possible.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Hi
DD1 has taken a pair of my shoes that she sold on v!nt!d which I put in a shoebox so that's shoes and a box decluttered and £5 coming back in
While in the garage I found a bag full of old beer bottles (full), they were all very OOD so DD1 poured them down the sink and put the empties in the recycling bin - so that was about 15 bottles now decluttered from the garage of doom.
I've done some digital decluttering but my emails are still over 11k.
I decluttered a work frog for some casual work I have - did the work and emailed it in. I rewarded myself with an hour of TV
Love to all

I wonder how carrying bags up and down stairs is relevant if not to imply carrying a frame? How is the weight important if she isn't going to be carrying one?I wonder why mention the NHS being under pressure if not to shame Flo into only accepting one aid?You probably didn't mean it to sound as it did I expect, but as we have seen, it's easily misinterpreted..
