kitchen freezer has been decluttered of accumulated ice. And a couple of bags of stuff. still considering if it's worth my time to make some soup.....
OH has agreed to take all my shredded paper (work and home stuff) to the tip along with the box from the new fan he bought and the plastic display racks from a local department store that has shut. I was looking for pamphlet holders but these just won't work.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Hi all, well I made it to the cs today and 22 items plus a big cardboard box have left the house. Included in this were 2 pairs of shoes and 4 tops given to me by OHs sister and have been tried on but never worn. She just doesn't get my taste at all. The rest were ornament type things, 3 were inherited from my Mum and have taken me a long time to move on. The rest were things I looked at and thought I didn't choose this but have no idea where they came from, possibly gifts from school but as I have no memory of who gifted them I could let them go. There would have been a few other bits but OH waylaid me and removed a couple of things including a set of fairy Christmas tree decorations, no idea why but they are going to be put on OHs pile of things to deal with. The other thing was some sort of electrical junction box that I suspect was left by the electricians when I was rewired, no idea what it does but OH grabbed it out of the box, sigh.
After the cs I went to the duntree shop as I need some new pillow protectors and as luck would have it they have a sale onSince the linen place closed down I have struggled to find some things anywhere else. Anyhow 20% off pillow protectors. Then I saw some cushions 50% off. I have been trying to persuade OH to bin an old cushion that had reached the stage of the wadding shredding and I have met resistance so I just bought the new cushion and it was presented to OH when I got home and said give me that old one, binned and the leaking wadding filled the lr bin so that was emptied
. I also have to confess to picking up some waters and noble A5 notebooks half price that I am putting away for Christmas gifts so they came in but they have a purpose, 2 will go out to the Caribbean with my sister for gifts so they have to be small useful things
The forecast rain has been threatening all day but it has been very little and very sporadic so I am going to get changed into "gardening" clothes and see if I can hack back a bit more
Hugs to everyone who would like one
842 - 863 22 items to cs
864 cardboard box to cs
865 dead cushion binned
866 lr bin emptied
Take care everyone

MrsSD Dad was on fine form yesterday and everything in the news was someone else's fault, mainly Rup3rt Murd0ch as he ruined everything apparently 🤣
The DGC didn't arrive yesterday and my fridge/biscuit and cake tins uttered a sigh of relief ! DGD is however coming for tea tomorrow straight from school, she comes every Tuesday as Mum and Dad have meetings, but now she's still wants to come next year when she's at secondary school too 😧 Must be my fabulous cooking dahling !👩🍳🤣 Oh I wish.
This morning we visited our local independent wood store and came home with yet more wood ready to fix our new fence panels. Then this afternoon I stopped the scrappy man who took the broken folding chair and all the old car brake parts, including the boxes 👏 The cs bag has gone too and another 27 emails have been read and deleted.
DH now tells me there are some metal bits from a x trainer that can go too ! They have been in the garden for over 2 years as he was going to do something amazing with them 😡
Liverpool Anne I'm so sorry about the passing of your dear friend.
Queen Jess it's not boring at all, it's good to talk about things that make you happy/annoyed etc. No one will ever judge you as I'm sure I won't.
Bit by Bit loving the blanket. Wish I could crochet but no matter how hard I try I get myself in a knot, I'll just stick to knitting !
Muddy love the garden pics. I have grown Sweet Peas and runner beans like that.
Sorry I'm hijacking the thread with my waffle now !
Take care all

Had a mini milk ice lolly before I went back to tackling the ROD.
Done nearly an hour in the ROD - so time for a bowl of ice cream. Telling myself that I deserve treats.
I have made a decision about the ROD - today is the last day that I am working in there - for the moment. I need to get working in my craft room ROD so it is safe for Mr F. He still could be home this week if the OT chaps come and install the aids.
I said to OT that Mr F goes in the garage - she said that stuff needed to be moved to make it safe for him - she should have seen the before photos!
When OT was in Mr F's office - she said that the stuff on the floor would have to be moved - I put it there when I started to declutter the craft room ROD - it is not staying. Again - she should have seen before pics of the office.
My parcel hasn't arrived - RM were meant to be delivering it today - my new sandals. I ordered 2 pairs to get free postage and will decide which pair to keep and return others to the shop.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Sneaks back in after a long time 😟
I was sooo poorly with covid, I really did nothing for a couple of weeks. DH had it too, although LO got away with it it seems. Anyway, I found it really didn’t take long for the place to become a mess. All the good habits then didn’t become re established immediately as It was just too hot 🥵 to clean up
so here I am in a house needing a jolly good clean. I have only 1 bag of clothes decluttered for charity. And Ive been buying ….. I found a great coat for LO in a charity shop brand new, then ordered the boots online to match 🤪
what can I say? LO will be ready for winter 😂
sports day is cancelled tomorrow as we are due for thunder storms. So as I have the day off I really do need to sort the house out.Ocado are delivering in the afternoon - it’s my first time to try them as they offered a 25 % discount, and my Morrisons free delivery pass has expired. Will see how it goes.19 -
Really embarrassing photos coming up.....
ROD no 1 - spent quite a few hours in here - still got lots to do.
I showed a photo of some of the food stash when I moved it to the garage.
Before pics .....
