Brie - Mr F has had a try at walking unaided this afternoon.
There wasn't much for the bin men this week. Some of the boxes were from the garage men. Only 1 red bag filled. My black bin for next Friday is already full and I have started to use my neighbour's bin.

Hi all, another hot day here and we are all worn out waiting for the rain forecast for tonight to cool it down. Lovely lunch that lasted until 7.30
. Home in time for a late tea
. Had a potter in the garden and watered the pots then over the fence to water ln's pots and hanging baskets as she is away for a week or so, then just watched some tv and did some crochet. I did empty the bathroom bin at some point in the evening when I was using the facilities and noticed it was full again
@Brie my sister lives in a village called Buckhorn Weston. It is sort of between Gillingham and Wincanton, though I doubt anyone would see me walking the dog. He's a 15 year old daschund that only walks as far as his food bowl. He is absolutely spoiled rotten, gets carried up to bed, is allowed to sit on the furniture but needs help to get on it, has lots of treats and is never left alone for more than about an hour. You can see why my sister needs a dog sitter
. From your question I guess you live in Dorset
.
Hugs to everyone who would like one, I am off to bed now as I am falling asleep over my puter
838 bathroom bin emptied
Take care everyone

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
I slept like a log (temperature was just right) & got up 11:15. Friday was a slightly cooler day. The sum total of my activity today was to write a shopping list & put shopping away when DH got back from the sm 😉 & I cleared down a few more programmes from the TV planner 😉 DH had picked up a disposable BBQ so we had hotdogs & burgers in buns for dinner. Wudupa.

895-897 Car boot full of branches and two bags/boxes of garden trimmings to recycling
Did basically nothing yesterday. This morning I have caught up on emails, competitions, surveys etc. Think I have guests today so I'd better get up and dressed.2025 Decluttering Campaign 665/2025 🏅🏅🏅🏅(🏅🏅) 🌟🌟

Been outside cleaning back windows and PVC.
Going shopping a bit later to stock up on ice cream and ice lollies - workmen and DGd finished off a pack of tropical lollies - I didn't get one.

@Florenceem that's brilliant about Mr F trying walking on his own and sounds like he's been in a good place for rehabilitation. I awe of your decluttering and cleaning.
Had lovely evening last night deciding to go for a meal with someone I know but not well and felt really good doing something rather than feeling have to be at home sorting things which currently translates to watching it!
Big paper and finance frog to sort out for Friday. Luckily found draft from last year but need to get hank to give me some print outs. Found some big boxes for dd1 for when she's back to pack up. Found 2 beer glasses I don't like which dd2 wants to give her dad for father's day so win win.
Hoping to put few things on free and fleabay sites if i can find time but seeing friends this weekend good for mental declutter!22 -
Morning lovelies, it's another hot day, although there is a lot of high cloud. Not managed much this morning yet, just taken a cuppa coffee back to bed and it's 10.30.but I need to rest, i am very tired and ask my joints are aching. We are going to London gonig to see the pet shop boys concert this evening. Which will be brilliant, but also tiring, so conserving my 'spoons' so to speak. Yesterday was also busy, took DD to marwell zoo, which is quite near to us. We had a great day, although very hot! And then the day previous to that DD had her second taster day at a potential new school. It seemed to go ok so now we wait to see if the school think it's a good fit and then if they do we have to convince the LA that it's the right place and as this involves a lot of money it might be tricky!
So not much declutterung had happened lately. The lego boxes are STILL in the lounge, i am fed up trying to rebuild all the kits! However the lego mindstorm kid has sold on the bay of e, yesterday, so that's a good bit to go in the uni fund.
I wish I had a tenth of the vision and determination and energy of queenjess, i am in envy of your determination to reduce clutter.!
Have a good weekend all xx♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

Hello declutterers, I seem to have missed the train again but I've been a bit distracted this week with DNiece in hospital after contracting Necrotizing Fasciitis and having many ops to remove it. Her last op was yesterday and I'm still waiting for news of that. Poor girl has had part of her leg, inner thigh, bottom, groin and belly removed 😱 She's the nearest family member that DH has left and everything is crossed that she pulls through as the prognosis is still only 40% but better than the original 10%.
I've tried to keep busy this week and bought a replacement iron, a new power washer and DH has a new laptop so all the packaging has been put in the cardboard recycling and the plastic binned. Out too my birthday cards, flowers and an empty box of chocs, sorry to see the latter go as they were my favourites.
I finally have a full cs bag ready to go for Monday but as they are refusing books because they are inundated they'll stay for a while. Yesterday I used up some brown bananas in a cake, some soft pears have been stewed and last years blackberries that were found in the bottom of the freezer has made a pot of jam, nom, nom.
Happy decluttering and hugs to anyone in need.
nanFailure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently21 -
nannywindow - poor thing - hope the hospital can get on top of the infection.
Been shopping and when I got home phoned Mr F - he is down today. He doesn't know why he feels down - it is hard as I feel affected by his moods. I am working on the ROD and don't want my decluttering derailed so onwards and upwards - Mr F can have his touch of the glums but I am not getting down.
