To add to the word collection - mine are twonk and twiglet - in reference to idiotic individuals that might cause you to swear but you know that you mustn't. As in "Some right twonk (or twiglet) pulled right out in front of me without even looking!!"
Strange how these all start with a TW.
Have decluttered the pile of prescription slips now that I've added stuff to my calendar. So annoying that I can't get all my stuff at the same time. A bonus would mean getting my OH's stuff the same time as all of mine. But some twiglet at the surgery has decided that makes too much sense so I have to go to the chemist 3 times a month.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. A listen only call at work meant I could dig out some things surrounding me. At lunch I talked to DH about his wardrobe rearrangement to make space for the stuff he wears everyday (he seemed interested when he got home yesterday and saw the pristine bedroom). Oh my goodness was there huffing and puffing! I said "Look, I don't care what you do, but I am just saying it's what I would do. You can leave it all rammed in on your side if you want." More grumbling and then he said "you're right, it would be better", but then continued to grumble about it. I left to get lunch as he'd only got rid of 3 items. Hopefully more will come, although I am a bit annoyed he is off on a jolly tomorrow whilst I am continuing decluttering the rest of the house, plus full time work, plus usual chores. He is behind on the list of things I created for him as well...The annoying thing about the decluttering is that everyone dumps it all in my library and it's up to me to figure out what to do with it all and invest the time. Then obviously I have to check through what DS is getting rid of as it's not always logical. I will continue to declutter and try to clear my library at the same time so hopefully it at least doesn't get worse. I moved 3 huge bags of the clothes I got rid of to DH's study to drop off at our local drop off point, so I expect that'll be done promptly as it's in his way!15,753 - paper (reused, then recycled)
15,754-15,756 - DH clothes (charity bag)
15,757 - fake plant (up for sale)
15,758 - broken key ring (binned)2025 decluttering: 3,925🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

What would happen if you cleared everything that didn't get worn/used in others cupboards and see if they actually notice? Separate it into "never used/worn in 5 years" and "might want". Just a thought.
Hope you're right about DH dropping things off....this def doesn't work with mine. If I ask I'll get a blank look and the line "what bag?"

@Brie it does work when I put things in DH's room as he gets annoyed with it and then deals with it. I don't think I necessarily know what he does and doesn't wear/fits etc as some things are smart stuff for work and I wouldn't want to make that decision. I just went in the bedroom and there are clothes all over the floor
, but there is a small pile of clothes on the side that I think are the ones to go.
I didn't tell him what to do, but he was inspired by how good I'd made all my stuff and the rest of the bedroom that he does want to do it. He just isn't practiced at it and wants to have a 10-15 min conversation about each item (which I definitely don't have the patience for). After asking him the same types of questions for ages, I gave up and told him he knew the questions and only he can decide in the end what to keep and what to go. He told me to order 3 more bags for the charity shop though, so fingers crossed they all get full up with his clothes. I also seem to have gained a brand new unopened box with a haircutting kit in (don't ask why...). Anyway, that's something else on my list to sell and is currently cluttering up the library floor. Actually, maybe tomorrow I will use temporary boxes in the library for things to charity, things to sell and then things for me to go through and then I should be able to contain the madness a bit and in theory be able to start tidying/decluttering whatever else is in this room (as it is all mine in here apart from that!).If it's possible, I'm currently 10x more ruthless than I've ever been, so nothing in the house is safe and I'm finding things all over the place! Kitchen is currently pending a bit whilst I try to get through the food overstock although I have my eye on clearing more of the sides.2025 decluttering: 3,925🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Garage men arrived at 8 am and finished at 11.30.
I was outside washing windows at 7 am when a Freegler collected items.
I cleaned quite a bit of the PVC at the front of the house. I did give the back downstairs windows a clean but they will need doing again.
Goodbye to the old red door - I love my new garage door - photos follow.
I told Mr F about the new garage door and showed him photos - most surprised that he didn't ask - how much?
I was picked up just after noon to visit Mr F - he was surprised when I walked in. I saw him using a stick - not very confident. I spotted a Sister and asked to speak to someone about aids in the house. A Physio and an Occupational Therapist came to see us. I have a visit to see what I need in the house for Mr F to be safe on Monday at 9 am. They said that he will stay in rehab until the aids are fitted and go home by hospital transport.

One book off the TBR pile and finished (The Twyford Code) and waiting to go to a friend’s mum on Saturday.I agree with everyone else, some books are seasonal. I do particularly like classic Golden Age of Crime books during the winter. Extra points for snowy ones at Christmas.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)
