@QueenJess you are doing amazing decluttering! All whilst working and looking after a young family. Please be kind to yourself and take time for you. I am in awe of how much you have declutteted.

One of the lovely ladies - M that I help to look after on a Wednesday brought me a gift today - luxury white truffles - yummy. Every week I get a hug and a sweet from another lady - J.
We had salad and trifle on the menu today at lunch club.
After club finished I walked into town and got rid of 4 bags of stuff to the charity shops. Also took old medication to a chemist. Then got a bus to the shopping centre for more plastic storage boxes.
I spoke to the garage door chap - he is arriving at 8 am and hopes to be finished by 12. I may be able to visit Mr F tomorrow if the time suits the lift volunteer.
DGs J is working tomorrow but I have put in a request to have my grass strimmed. He may tidy up the back garden too - pesky weeds coming up between the paving. I would like the back garden landscaped some time.

Dropping in to wave and update figures. It is unlikely I will read the 150posts I have missed in teh last week. Life is busy and I am in the throes of finishing a blanket I am crocheting, It has to be done by the end of week.
In the meantime:
I have been frog wrangling. `Took my beaten up camper to get the electrics looked at and a quote for some wiring doing.
Took three bags of in and outs to the CS today, 2 huge bags of plastics to the supermarket yesterday while visiting a friend. Dropped off three big bags of stationary to a school teacher friend yesterday. Sold a big box of slime that has been in storage for a while. I took it in part payment for something.
Very pleased with this as it has all been hanging around.
I will be only popping in and out intermittently for the next few months but see all the great work going on. Take care all.Wife, mother, gardener, nurse, Big C survivor. Thank you everyone for your kind words. Doing that last bit of tidying in the bedroom felt life changing. It’s so calm in there that I sat and looked at it for a while. I closed the door to the library (which is the room of doom once again) and I’ll start dealing with it tomorrow. I think the tidying is key with the decluttering as I don’t want to end up with a tip until it’s all done. So I think I need to keep clearing things out the house rather than being in a pending pile as I go. I am out of bags for the charity clothes, so I ordered some as you can post them to Oxfam online (charity shops are a bit far away). As soon as they arrive all the clothes will be packed up and gone. I will scout around for anything I need to list on Buy Nothing as well.Instead I indulged myself doing what I wanted to do and is the kind of thing I’m trying to make time for with all this decluttering. I made two lots of no churn ice cream; one vanilla and the other strawberry using the strawberries from my garden.2025 decluttering: 3,925🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

The ice cream looks fabulously yummy!
Stress high as too much RL work and life, and lost my wallet, possibly pick pocketed after coming out the tube, oyster cards, railcard/bank and credit cards gone! Lovely tube/train people let me get home - they phoned ahead to my station to say to let me out
Walking in my home sunk my heart and having to bite my tongue and just tidy limited no of things and few things recycled/binned so had some space to sit down!
Have list of emails to do, calls to chase DD1 rental references for new place, oyster/TfL and bank.
Going to order railcard as last day of 3 x tesco points for rewards
Dbro wanted to stay as in town 2 days for work but he can commute. So glad I said no to him as would tip me over the edge!20 -
Surprised to get a phone call from the hospital today, my appointment is on Saturday which is double quick. Hopefully that'll be the end of this scare, it's not a nice feeling.Decided to have a mini decluttering in the kitchen after tea, so 3 storage jars, a bowl and some glasses have gone in the chaz box to take tomorrow. I stuck a cardi I never wear in too.Magnolia Stellata15

Hi all, another very hot day here. I stripped the bed this morning and that just about did me in, had to have a sit down with a cuppa. 3 loads of washing sorted, 1st load was dry when I went to put the 2nd load on the line. Thought I would have another go at the garden but I only managed about 10 mins before I started to feel dizzy with the bending down in the heat, no breeze today, so I diagnosed dehydration and got a pint of water and sat in the shade but it was still too hot so I had to come inside. Went back up to the bedroom and made the bed up and emptied the bedroom bin. Fighting with the duvet wore me out so I sat in the cool and just read a book. About 5 o'clock I went to the sm to pick up some salad stuff for tea and a few other bits and I have to say Mr T was lovely and cool
. All the shopping was put away. After tea I pottered in the garden collecting together some plastic pots that need to be taken to the tip as they are cracked, then I did some watering. When I came in I checked my emails and 200 permanently deleted. Again could and should have done more but I lost concentration so got on with some crochet while watching tv.
@QueenJess great work in the bedroom. I must say I use the 2 bins upstairs quite a lot. I have 1 in the bedroom and 1 in the bathroom, but that is probably because I have more junk than you lying aroundand if I didn't put it in a bin as I see it I would never remember to take it down to the kitchen
. You have inspired me though to have another go at the bedroom. Things have started to accumulate in piles around the bed again and it will have to be sorted though I don't think I will ever have completely clear surfaces in there they can definitely be improved on
@TC77 what a pain losing your wallet. So glad they let you on the train to get home and I hope it isn't too much hassle sorting out your cards, hugs
Twot is too hotor at least that is how I read it
@stellata, good luck for Saturday hugs
Hugs to everyone who would like one
830 - 832 3 x loads of washing sorted

Take care everyone

stellata - hope all goes well on Saturday.
Today is new garage door day - this morning there was either a slug or snail trail in there on one of my new mats - yuck!
I am thinking of brushing down and washing the downstairs PVC window/doors and porch frames today.

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
DSis went out to pick up her prescription. Temperature climbed to 28C but is now on its way back down to 27C at 17:47, 26C at 18:47 & 21C at 21:55 😉 Apart from cutting the sleeves off & opening a side seam of 2 jumpers from M (to be used as winter covers for the wormeries) I have done nothing apart from clear down programmes from my TV planner 😉 DH & I used an HF recipe card & cooked Serrano ham wrapped chicken breast with cheesy roast potatoes & roasted tender stem broccoli with a creamy sauce 🤤😋 Wudupa.
DH has bought me another present - a neck fan 😉 In fact he bought us one each. Lovely idea & works well but it is very noisy 😉 See pic below as to what I mean by a neck fan 😅

Excellent work completing the bedroom decluttering QueenJess 👏 Gorgeous dresser QueenJess 😊 I agree with Moorviews “the dresser looks fantastic as a totally clear surface. It shows the beauty of the wood and is very calm looking”
Very well said retiredinfrance 👏 QueenJess is doing a stupendous job of decluttering her home 😊
Moorviews, I had never heard ‘twot’ before 🙂 Excellent work in the garden, your craft cupboard & your wardrobe 👏
Well said Fizz2015 👏 Hopefully if enough of us comment on how well QueenJess is doing with her decluttering, she might not be so hard on herself 🤞
Florenceem , you know some lovely ladies 😊 A very busy Wednesday & well done on getting all the bags to the CS 👏 Fingers crossed that the garage door chap gets the new door on in time for you to get a lift to see MrF 🤞 Hopefully DGS J will find time to not only strip the lawn but also do the weeding 🤞
Nice to see you bit_by_bit 👋 Great frog wrangling & decluttering 👏 Now that you have aid that you will only be popping in intermittently for the next few months, I won’t worry if we don’t see you regularly 😉
QueenJess, very pleased to hear that you took the time to admire your handiwork in the bedroom 😊The ice cream looks delicious 😋 Any chance of a recipe & instructions 🙏
Oh TC77 😞 So very sorry to hear that RL work & life are getting you down 😔 & that your wallet has been stolen 😖 The last thing you need at the moment with all that Extra work sorting it all out 😔 Well done on saying ‘no’ to DBro 👏
Good luck for Saturday stellata 🍀 Hopefully your mind will be put at rest 🤞Great decluttering
TC77, twot translates as ‘too hot’ 😉
Excellent work Liverpool_Anne 👏 Well done on pacing yourself throughout the day 😊 & I trust you kept properly hydrated 😉 Lovely comments & support for both QueenJess & TC77 😊
Florenceem, hope the garage door fitting goes well 🤞& that the weather is not too hot for you to tackle cleaning the downstairs PVC 😊
I have paid the milkman who was looking decidedly unwell - has had food poisoning & not eaten for almost 3 days 😞 I know it is very late but I am watching Sewing Bee before I go to bed 😉
