Hi everyone! Twot - what a wonderful word. I shall use it lots for the next couple of weeks 🤣
Im not actually Welsh, I’m kind of a mixture of a lot of places (I’ve moved round a lot) and have picked up all sorts of sayings in different dialects. But I did marry a Welshman so there is that 😁 when I first moved to wales I couldn’t make head or tail of the Valleys accent and some of the sayings really threw me - I’ve been here over 25 years so I get it now.
Thank you for the lovely comments about my garden…..most of it is an experiment. If it lives great! If it doesn’t ah well!I absolutely adore dragons and have about 10 tucked away in my garden hiding. I’m not into Buddhas or things like that, not my cup of tea really, but obviously each to their own.
I could ramble on for hours but won’t lol! Managed some shopping after work and although I was bored and tired there was air conditioning!!!!!!!!!⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Mrs SD I think after request for my dress fell on deaf ears the book I had of ex b/f went very quickly to the CS. I think I offered them back... but didn't want them.
Dbro was due to stay tomorrow night. Dd2 concerned as she can hear him snore through the wall and already not sleeping so agreed not til after exam..glad as he would have to climb over dd1s belongings and embarrassed 😳 also difficult to argue to have more of my dad's things. Couple of emails done, prescription for dd2 and me and chiropodist appt made..
Have work breakfast meeting but new team member lovely and more people starting over summer. Will be posting pics in the autumn.
Well done everyone for fantastic progress or just hanging on as the train speeds on!16 -
Hi all, hot again
I have had an update on the union thing. It's a bit complicated as there are 3 of us working on different things for someone. He did turn up for the meeting today with one of the other people and as a result my bit has been put on the back burner for now. Fine by me but I just wish that decision had been made last week which would have saved me a lot of running around.
Emptied the bathroom bin and tackled the garden again as the green waste bin had been emptied this morning. 2 bags into the bin though I did have to have quite a long sit down in the shade with a cold drink between each bag. Sat out chatting with ln until gone 7 as it was pleasant by then but we were driven in by hunger
. Just had an egg salad as the salad needed using up and we cba to do anything else
. After tea I had a half hour power nap
and then did some digital decluttering as I really didn't have the energy to do much else so 400 emails permanently deleted. I could have done more, and need to do more
but I was fed up with it so I picked up my crochet and did some of that
. It is a little cooler tonight so I am hoping to sleep better. Sorry I haven't caught up yet but will try to do that before I dose off.
Hugs to everyone who would like one

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
I had a little flurry of activity 😉 Made up the bed with the newly laundered bed linen (having just laid on the bed last night). Vacuumed bedroom, office, lading & RofD - I had to empty the vacuum cleaner twice 😬 Emptied the laundry bag - 1st load in wm. Now 13:00 so will watch TV for a while, then probably/possibly tackle the fridge 😂 No fridge tackling as yet but 2 loads of washing are now out on whirligig & 3rd load in wm. Lunch was a ham sandwich. DH just phoned (16:30) still in Wales so expecting to be home about 20:00. He is currently sweltering in the heat 🥵 3rd load of washing out on whirligig & most of the 2 other loads now dry & waiting to be folded & put away. DH just phoned again (18:50) & now has an eta of 20:30 due to diversions on the M6 😔 DH did get home at 20:30 & I watered the garden 21:30. DSis & DH had cold beef & chips for dinner. Wudupa.

nannywindow, you win re the most disappointing thunderstorm - at least we had about 3 minutes of rain 🤣 Usually only the boys have hollow legs, so am rather pleased to hear that DGD also has hollow legs 😉 Great decluttering 👏
Wow Wednesday2000, all that walking in such heat 🤩 Hopefully the bathroom will be completed by the weekend including a working sink 🤞Excellent decluttering 👏
Florenceem, fingers crossed that MrF just notices & appreciates how much space & how clean your home is when he finally comes home 🤞😊 Well done on making progress in the 1st RofD 👏 You have a busy Wednesday planned so please take a little time for yourself 😊
QueenJess, I am always amazed at how much you manage to get done on even your busiest days at work 👏 Sorting Lego is so time consuming 😔 Really liked the idea that your least favourite pair of jeans were the ones you are wearing 😉
daisy_1571, I’m hoping you will post a few photos of your dragons & other creatures 🙏 Now that is properly hot 38C 🥵 in a north facing garden - I am melting just thinking about it 🥵 Very droll “sun factor anorak” 😅
Florenceem that is what I call TLC - 2 lots of ice cream in a day 👏 Now you just need to rest your back 🙏
Great work in your garden GrannyKate 👏 Now, now surely they are wildflowers rather than weeds 😉
Brie, thank you for sharing such useful information 👏
Excellent decluttering charlies_tribe 👏 Rather pleased to hear that DH didn’t dig up a body 😂Reminds me that we had a friend who dug up 12 unused toilets in his back garden - last house in the terrace & the builders couldn’t be bothered to take them away 🤔 I would have got my DH to sort out the cereal cupboard 😱
Floss, that is an enormous bin cupboard 😉 Are you sure Lord Lucan isn’t hiding in there 🤣
Excellent decluttering Chocolatedrinker 👏 Nice to see you back 👋 One Gold Star ⭐️ coming your way for 975/2023 - sorry it is late 😉
Not quite caught up but I am off to bed 😉

37 items to add to my total decluttered today.
Didn't get up until 6.30.
Yes a busy day at SA ahead - I haven't got a lift to visit Mr F yet for this week - it is such a long way that I don't like to ask people.
After 9 weeks hard slog at decluttering - I am starting to flag but determined to continue. This ROD that I am working on is really bad. Then I have 2 more RODs.
Only a week now until Mr F's suggested discharge date and no contact from Occupational Therapists.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

@Brie Thank you for this useful information. The orthodontist didn't mention anything about jaw problems later on; he just said that whatever problems she might have later on, would be problems people with regular jaws might have, too. Which, to me, made it more of an esthetic operation than a medically necessary one.

morning lovelies, I seem to be finding it harder and harder to find time to come on here and share whats going on. Everyone seems to be doing so well. I have enjoyed seeing the photos over before and afters and of lovely gardens. ANd love the bronze dragon!!DS2 is one third of the way through his Alevels, will be done by the end of next week, phew! Not much decluttering has occured, been busy in the garden, in the evenings and finished 1 rather large bed, bought a few new plants to fill the gaps, hoping it will keep the weeds down. But ended up in agony on monday morning, i think due to over doing it with the hand fork. I think I jarred my wrist with repeated digging in the hard soil! So painful and was a bit scared too, as I need my right hand for work (cant cut toe nails with my left hand, like DH helpfully suggested!!!) anyway it eased off thank goodness was so relieved. The only thing we have really recluttered is DDs hamster :'(he was very old and had slowed right down and looked so poorly we took him to the vet to be PTS, (cost way more than the price of him when we bought him!!! But couldnt see him suffer any longer.) So now we have a huge glass tank and all the parafanalia that goes with it sitting in the lean to. Will offer it all up for free later on. Need to dig a hole somewhere later today. (will dig with spade and not use hand trowel!!! )work later today and then DD has a trail at a school tomorrow, i have everything crossed that it goes smoothly, she has been out of school for so long,(years) this is probably the last chance as she will be year 11 in sept.stay cool all and follow Florenceems lead and eat lots of ice cream, i managed 2 mars ice creams yeaterday!!Flowers x♥️ ♥️ ♥️🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸Decluttering 2025 So far 403 / 2025

I have plastic carrier bags disintergrating in the ROD - what a mess!
Feel so happy! - found my engagement ring and eternity ring in a bag of jewellery - can't wait to tell Mr F! I knew they were somewhere in the house. That has bucked me up to continue.
I have a Freegler coming to pick up a large suitcase and someone else collecting Covid tests.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
