MrsSD - the photocopier is staying where it is for now - not even sure if Mr F owns it or leased.
Still positive when tested today but a lot fainter - so on the way to negative. Still coughing and a headache and feel exhausted.
Officer had left a carrier bag of tests in my porch when I unlocked - I don't need that many!
First mistake of decluttering - found that I have no iron tablets in the cupboard - must have thrown them all. Thing is - don't order them all the time as I don't take the full amount on prescription - Drs just never changed dosage.
Got up later today - fell back to sleep after alarm clock.

4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend

6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Sorry to hear that yo had a low energy day Dfw38 😔 Hopefully you & your DDs won’t succumb to illness & can enjoy the long weekend 🤞 Great work in the attic & on party preparations for DDs birthdays 👏 I would imagine that as long as there is plenty of jelly & ice cream both your DDs will be happy 😉
Excellent decluttering GrannyKate 👏
Florenceem, fingers crossed that the last 2 drawers provide at least a few more £1 coins 🤞😉Excellent work with the office shredding 👏 - 30 bags 🤩 So pleased to hear that MrF is spending at least some time out in the sunshine ☺️ Should be topping up his Vitamin D levels nicely 😉 Another Gold Star ⭐️ on its way for 5241/2023 🙂 Re the photocopier - might it be useful for the SA?
Nice idea for the large photocopier whiteguineapig 🙂
vulpix, if I remember rightly it was MrV’s idea to go out 😉 Sorry to hear that you have aggravated your bad back 😔 You sound like another ‘bad patient’ 😅 I for one am loving the garden photos especially seeing the two cats on the shed roof 😊
Brie, hopefully the Freegler can pick up the easel today 🤞 Everything crossed that the poppy seeds give you a glorious display in the not too distant future 🤞 Hope you enjoyed dinner with your friend on Thursday night & that the nasturtium seeds also found a new home 🤞
Florenceem, really sorry to hear that your back is so painful now 😔 is it possible for someone to pick up some more neurofen for you? I am always surprised by how heavy the top of my shredder is & I only have to empty mine every week or so. You have filled 30 sacks with shredding, so I am not surprised that you have hurt your back 😔 Please take care 🙏
You are welcome TC77 😊 Good work tidying & cleaning 👏 Little & often is definitely a good way to declutter & is working for you 😊 Hopefully the new carpet has a more salubrious name than ‘smoked trout’ - something like Dusky rose’ 😉 You might be in chaos, but you are definitely sounding more positive 👏
Excellent decluttering Happy_Kitties 👏
Excellent work decluttering & sorting your craft shed Soontobeoap 👏
Muddy_Walker, hopefully the hospital doctors will make a proper diagnosis re your dad & put a treatment plan in place before discharging him 🤞
Excellent decluttering short_bird 👏 Enjoy your Sparks concert ☺️
Liverpool_Anne, falling asleep on the sofa is becoming a bit of a theme 😥 Well done on restraining yourself from causing OH grievous bodily harm 😉 Especially galling that you found the lawnmower exactly where you knew it was, only to be told that it was no longer required 😖 I think the only solution to the challenge of OH’s clothes is bin bags & taken to cs 😉😂 or is that too cruel 🤔 By the way, excellent decluttering 👏
Florenceem, pleased to hear that the photocopier will be remaining in situ for a while 👏 Hopefully when you deal with the contents of the last 2 drawers you will find paperwork relating to said photocopier 🤞 Sorry to hear that you are still testing positive & still feeling so ill 😔 Very kind of SA Officer to leave Covid tests for you 😊 even though a carrier bag full does seem a tad excessive 🤣Shame about the iron tablets but I can only think that if you threw them out they must have been ood 😔 I for one am pleased to hear that you had a bit longer in bed than usual 🙂
Great decluttering & dealing with yucky job, GrannyKate 👏 Hope you enjoy the school concert 😊
Friday has finally brightened up & the sun is out 🥳 just in time for me to go back to bed as I woke up @ 8:00 having only had 2.5 hours sleep ☹️ + I have just finished my cuppa & the cheerleading 😉

A few decluttering bits and pieces to report. DH was very pleased I got rid of something from the garage and then decided I must want to sort out the garage and was asking me what to do with it and was complaining about the kids toys in there (of which there are about 8 very small toys). I do not want to sort out the garage... it is 99.99% all DH's stuff. The things I own in there are some bird food I need to get through really (might give some away), 2 vases for flowers and apparently the freezer is mine (which obviously cannot go as our kitchen one is the smallest one known to man). I told him that it was very simple and he has two choices: (1) Get rid of stuff so it fits or (2) squeeze more storage into there to store his tat. He keeps saying that there is nothing to get rid of and it is already stored as efficiently as it can be, but I seriously doubt that. I said as much, but he only conceded that there might be the odd thing to go, but it wouldn't make a material difference. Apparently he is not capable of sorting his own stuff out. I already have enough to do dealing with the kids and my stuff... I am resistant to doing any more!Anyway, so that situation will probably rumble on. In the meantime, I have probably only a half day of work to do today and have been told by my manager to slack off given all the work hours I've put in recently. (Plus they are probably a bit scared as I mentioned to a friend at work I had been offered a job by an ex colleague and another friend and I think she has said something!). So I will do the Friday usual (change beds, washing) and will also try to plant out some of my seedlings that are so big they are attacking everything in sight and sort out the big pile of kids books in my library that I'm sick of seeing all over the floor. Rearranged dd2's closet, because her clothes were all over the floor. Now it all fits in one closet; we removed 14 pairs of pants for being too small or uncomfortable
, several T-shirts and jeans that she decided she would never ever wear. Everything is in the 'for Africa' box.
Husband sent of 5 really large flat screen TVs to Africa; they were given to him by people upgrading to smart tv's. It costs €300 to ship them to his mother country, but he expects to make at least €300 per screen selling them.Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.5917 -
Well after that, I had a mooch around the garage and found a bunch of things to go (plus piles of stuff DH has been hoarding to sort and then go). DH was interested in what I was doing in "his garage" and so we chatted about the storage and have a potential solution for the bulk of his tat. His job is to find the right storage to fit the space and once we have that sorted, we can organise and prune the rest to fit.Off to strip beds and put on washing before all my work calls this afternoon.Physical:

Good morning. Thank you for the medal Mrs SD, DD2 was very pleased with it 🙂
She has since been busy clearing off the top of the freezer. Everything put away where it should be so she can reach the baking cupboard easily. Nothing actually left but there is some seeds dated 2009, might just throw them in a tub and see if anything grows.
Loving all the garden pictures, we still have a jungle!
Florenceem, the garage looks fantastic, it puts my conservatory and bedroom that I started months ago to shame.
The washer wasnt fixable, or not cheaply anyway, there was soot all in tge back of the washer so DH thought possibly from the motor and that would need replacing and the back of the drum had a crack all the way down (possibly from all the shoes I've been washing) so new one has arrived and DH put the old one out with some other stuff for the scrap man and it was gone in an hour and I'm slowly catching up on the washing thanks to tge lovely weather.
We do have another problem now that I have no idea how to fix, MOTH! Loads of them, everywhere. Not sure if we've disturbed some while sorting through. Have got some stuff coming today to try and help.
Right DD2 is asking for her piercing cleaned 🤢(she went with DD1 yesterday to have it done) so will post my list and be back later.

Good morning.Muddy walker, very good news that your Dad is having an investigation into his infection. You have a very neat and tidy squirrel Mrs SD. Precision job on the bird feeder. You have reminded me LiverpoolAnne, I have a lawn mower in mil’s garage. It went there when we were moving house and before we had the giant shed here. I have kept it in case I develop a nature garden on the disused lane. I wouldn’t have a lawn but a meadow and cut it twice a year. Before it comes here I need to get rid of DD1’s bf bike and a 6 seater fold down patio set from my shed. We have his n hers sheds! It’s like Tetris. I am keeping the garden furniture for Justin.I am still in bed. Lying on my back is the only relief from pain. It is getting better though. I am sorry to be missing this beautiful weather. I could be up on the top garden right now! Mr V is emptying one of his sheds again. The pursuit of the ultimate arrangement of stuff.New total 622. Includes a lot of audio leads and electrical gubbins,3 tops, a dress, trousers, scarf and a bag of soft plastic.Vx:18

Tale of woe here - DD who brought me home from the hospital on Friday has tested positive - feel awful about it as it is the start of her needed half term break.
Then I phoned Mr F - he has tested positive - they only tested him as were going to move him to a rehab place. He has been telling them that he needed to be tested - wonder how many people he has passed it on to. Now they don't know what they are going to do with Mr F.
Our local bin men are suspending the strike which was due to start on Tuesday - good news for me with all that shredding in the garage.
I have been cleaning in the office this morning.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

@Florenceem
Does the photocopier have any sticker with a code and/or phone number on it? Ours at work always did so that if we needed to contact the company that actually owned them would know which one they needed to deal with. But ours were always the bigger industrial size ones the size of a large shopping trolley. Less likely to be leased if it's a desk top one.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards.
