My back is hurting with a vengeance - nearly out of neurofen - I think it is lifting the heavy head of the shredder when the box is full. Shredder has overheated now.
Someone phoned about my washing machine while I was in pain and trying to get rubbish in a black sack - I was not polite to her but no swearing!
Don't think I want strangers in the house while I am on my own - if I get scrap men to take the photocopier - will arrange for DGS J to be here with me.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
I have had a tiny flurry of activity - wrote a shopping list for DH & a 3 day menu plan; adjusted milk delivery for Saturday & made myself a coffee 😔 DH has just headed off to sm (14:25) after checking the state of the ‘recycled plastic’ bird feeder 😱 It had been filled with a fat candle for its first outing. Pic 1 how it should look, Pic 2 round the other side 😬

Squirrels have done some precision engineering by completely removing one slat - they really are not environmentally friendly 🤣 so 1228 - bird feeder binned Now back to cheerleading
TC77, fingers crossed that there will be no more breakages now until 2025 at least 🤞Well done on getting the Agents to accept £50 rather than £200 👏 Talk about price gouging 😖 One medal 🏅coming your way 🙂
EnergyShifter, well done on resolving the green/gold issue re your wedding outfit 👏 Great work completing various tasks 👏
Muddy_Walker, not so much a ‘meltdown’ rather a pressure/tension release 😊 It sounds like you & hubby had a lovely Sunday afternoon 🙂 Sorry to hear that work is so busy but TB will soon be consigned to a distant ‘really bad’ memory 🤞Pleased to hear that dog 1 is on the mend & dog 2 is still causing amusement 😊 Very sorry to hear about your dad being in hospital 😔 but hopefully he will improve quickly & be home soon 🤞
I had a 15 minute break & made guacamole + wudupa all utensils & bowls 🙂
Lovely post bit_by_bit 😊 nice to see you 🙂
Excellent work in OH’s garden Liverpool_Anne 👏 Hopefully now that the lawn grass is a more reasonable length, the ground will be able to dry & you will be able to mow on Sunday. So jealous of the bluebells ln gave you 😉 I am not surprised you were exhausted after all that hard work 😓 Hopefully you slept well 😊
15:45 DH home from sm & I have packed almost everything away 🙂 DH is having a chicken sandwich for lunch & I am finishing off the hm soup 😋 DSis decided on cheese & ham rolls.
Liverpool_Anne, I see that you only got about 3 hours uninterrupted sleep 😥 Fingers crossed that you managed at least another 3 hours 🤞Good luck with your catching up 🍀
Florenceem, hopefully you had a good night’s sleep rather than a restless night 🤞I think your body is trying to tell you that need a rest however much your mind is insisting you want to carry on as normal 😉 You are definitely a very bad patient 😅
Losing concentration so will break off here & watch a bit of TV 😔
P.S. still no sunshine ☹️

Thank you for my 🏅. Put on wash before work and at lunchtime tidied the hall stand with few bits in bin and wiped clean. Tidied a few other things up. Going to town to a talk and then dd2 helping me move things out of the room for the carpet. She's chosen the colour as the one they put down and smelt was called smoked trout ( can see the irony there) 😀

Quick post - dad - not a heart attack but some kind of infection so rather than patch him up with antibiotics and sending him home they are actually investigating it….

Hi, quick update on numbers as away in Manchester and London till next Wednesday. Main ambition is to buy as little as possible. However, as I'm going to see Sparks - again, yes I know I saw them in April 2022 - there might be an investment in merchandise

2115-2124: 10 GB data deleted
2125-2164: items to bin

Hi all, quick update as I fell asleep on the couch and am now heading to bed. Today I took a binbag of hard plastic to the tip, dealt with 3 admin things that were turning into frogs and had a rummage in the conservatory as OH wanted to be sure we actually had a lawn mower in there before donating one to niece. I knew where it was but had to move a lot of stuff to get to it. Mainly OHs clothes, don't ask as I might just explode
. It is now sitting in pride of place blocking the doorway to the back room as it was going to OHs so the one there could be taken to niece's tonight but it turns out niece had bought one at the weekend. It will have to stay there for at least a day as I am out tomorrow to meet a friend who is staying nearby but has travelled up from the south coast to see another friend who is sadly dying. Honestly though I was a bit cross with OH for not believing me when I said I knew where it was and I am going to have to spend some time getting the conservatory sorted now and it was not even half way up my priority list
. Anyhow we had a lovely greek meal with very pregnant niece and we did manage to donate a spare garden fork and spade
@Vulpix that picture of the gravel garden is actually quite scary but I can see some lovely big pots and lots of nice plants in thereYou have done an amazing job transforming it
Falling asleep again so hugs to anybody who would like one
701 bag of plastic to the tip
702 - 704 3x admin tadpoles
705 garden fork to niece
706 garden spade to niece
Take care everyone

Ended up watching lots of TV, made dinner - pork steaks, mash, carrots & spring greens 😋 Wudupa. Portioned up freezer items & put away the last couple of items of shopping. DH had binned another 2 destroyed bird feeders 😔
