Wow - you've all been so busy. 👏
I've been mostly resting since I finished work on Thursday and it's really helped. My mood has finally started to lift. ☀️ I was persuaded to go out for a walk with a friend yesterday which also did me good - as did the sunshine. I was aching today though as I went from famine to feast with activity - but it was a "good" kind of ache. I will remain in the TLC cabinet at least until I return to work on Weds.
Tasks:
Large bag to CS
IN (running total 84)
0
OUT (running total 375) (adjusted as I retrieved 2 bowls & a cushion from CS bag)
376.HDMR cable
377. Bralets
378. Mini easel
379. Framed print to friend
380. Trainers (got them out of the house quickly so I wouldn't be tempted to wear them and injure myself again!!)
381. Rusty nail clippers.
Love to all

I am half expecting the same time frame dealing with the stuff in the house @TC77, sorry to hear you are still dealing with your parents things. Very excited for you @vulpix now that the bridge has been reopened! Enjoy the shorter trips out!
Went to garden centre today and got some plants for back garden. The whole garden needs an overhaul and that is my next major project (although it is only 25x30 foot and we have a huge shed/workshop of dhs) and a huge frog because although I love gardening, it doesn't love me back and I get sciatica, general back pain etc etc from the smallest of tasks but I need a garden that is nice! So tomorrow will be the start of that project. I am also starting my new months challenges amd have created a humoungous list that would probably rival the naughty and nice list for C/mas and I am also tempted to try the Joe Wicks 90 day weight loss challenge too. I have 2 and a half stone that needs to go... Decisions decisions 🤔.2024 decluttering Campaign

Hi Ho Hi Ho into the shed we go…, well went.Despite the amount of time DSis and I have spent lurking in the shed, and emptying the shed, and rehoming the contents of the shed…..we’ve still found 3 more bags of bits to be rehomed.DBro has also been a bit ruthless (I’m sure he can still try harder) and culled about half the books & DVDs that we had to bung in the shed. We’ve now got a box of stuff being picked up by Ziffit on Tuesday and the start of a second box. Box number 1 was full to top.Now we just need to get the charity stuff to the charity shop.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Another short post. We were up & dressed by 08:15, had breakfast, paid our bar bill, said goodbye to several people & were on the road by 09:10. The first time ever that we have left first 🥳 We had a good trip to Calais & managed to get on an earlier train. We then headed to Ramsgate to get a photo of the Viking boat. Went on to Margate hoping to have fish’n’chips but couldn’t find anywhere to park so headed home - arriving just after 16:00. We had a lovely weekend & to cap it off DSis was going to cook dinner - chicken, roast potatoes, green beans & peas.Sadly, I received a call from my cousin R saying that her dad, our uncle had passed away sometime Saturday or maybe Friday night. She had been unable to contact her dad so had gone round 20:30 on Saturday only to find him sitting in an armchair looking like he was asleep but completely cold. She phoned for an ambulance who turned up but as it was a death at home the police attended & finally the funeral director. R didn’t get home until 03:00 Sunday. It has come completely out of the blue so R is numb & we are shocked 😔 I contacted my brother. My DH’s comment on hearing the news was that he wants 2023 to be over 😔

Mrs SD - condolences on your loss.
We could have said hello - as you were in Ramsgate!
After over 1000 items decluttered in April - feel very good but lots to do.
Off to see Mr F this afternoon - not seen him since Thursday - his orders.
Got up to see that a Freegle collection didn't happen - I left items in my porch but still there. I had lots of others wanting them too.
Washing machine on and now for breakfast.

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger - Your trip to France sounded great fun and a lovely break for you both. I am so sorry that you came back to such sad news about your uncle. My condolences for your loss.@Florenceem - very impressive decluttering that you are doing! I hope you have a nice visit later.@EnergyShifter - a wise move with the trainers! Says she with several pairs of impossible to wear shoes in her wardrobe…
@Dfw38 - it’s a nice time of year to get started with the garden and create a lovely space for the summer.I’m hoping to have a quiet day pottering about at home. @florianatwobob you have inspired me to start getting a Ziffit collection together. For some reason I couldn’t download the app onto my phone so I might have a go again with my iPad. Otherwise, it is a case of typing in the long numbers, which is rather off putting.19 -
Good luck with your Ziffiting @Moorviews.Sorry to hear your sad news Mrs SD. It’s small comfort but it sounds like your uncle left peacefully.✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Down at my dad's house since Sat and heading back today. DB came yesterday and having been in Aus/NZ for 2 months has decided he doesn't want to spend another year sorting the house out. With 2 DDs with exams and DD1 stuff coming back not a great time for me to take things. We went through more modern books and have a couple of shelves for the CS, I have a shelf to take home, and DB has a a few art books - think he has made the better choice. I can't help going yes to a maybe2 bags of waterproofs, more jackets/walking boots for the refugee/homeless charity, 1 back for CS and 1 for textile recycling.Found the missing volume for the 12 set of JAusten books which the book seller is v interested in which makes it more attractive- he's hopefully coming in May as have 4 bookshelves (with a few shelves each) and a few boxes of books for him to go through.Trying to stick to only taking things that work/useful so DB was saying may take cine camera as something interesting to have on a shelf, of course part of me things I could do that too as 2 cameras then I think why? So decided I may take a small round barometer although very questionable whether I need one? Hoarding tendencies??Still need to sort carpet in my office so must choose next weekend and move stuff on at home. New starter at work next week and agreeing funding for more so hectic for a while but hoping by say Sept easier.Mrs SD understand Mr SD's view of 23, however, rather than look at the year as a whole I may look at the seasons, so come the summer and autumn things may be better.Going to find a few more things for the CS bag and have a DVD player to wrap and post.19
