Florenceem I am in agonies for you. First thing Tuesday you have to get on the phone to your GP. Don’t take no for an answer. Have a friend or a church member with you. They have seen what you are dealing with. Whatever the cause,it isn’t going to get better by itself. I am sorry to be so bossy. Vxxxxx:19

@Florenceem this is now your time to have the support of your SA colleagues, please don't think you can manage alone.
Have spent several hours decluttering weeds & mowing the tiny lawn in the back garden this afternoon, more to do though.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Hi all I just woke up on the couch and am now wide awake
.
Today I have washed, line dried, folded and put away 2 loads of washing. There are another 3 loads still drying as I went around collecting things like fleece blankets and wraps etc that are not in the normal run of washes as we are forcaste another sunny day tomorrow.. I went to the post delivery place as I had a card to say something needed to have postage paid. It was an Easter card from a friend with a new 1st class stamp and a label saying invalid stamp. I am totally flummoxed by this. I have measured the envelope and it is within the size for normal postage and only contained a normal card but I have had to pay £2.50 for it. I am going to ask at the post office on Tuesday as I really don't understand why. Also in the post we got, out of the blue, a box of covid tests. They are addressed to OH but we have not ordered them from anywhere. I have googled and I think OH is in some sort of special category because of all the current health issues. We do test regularly anyway but have been buying them. I will investigate further and let you know as others may be able to get them.
I am going to make a cuppa and try to read myself to sleep.
@Florenceem, I can only echo what Vulpix has said, as soon as the surgery opens on Tuesday insist on seeing the doctor. As I said it may be the new medication. My dsis had a very similar thing with her dh a few years ago caused by new meds. Hugs
Hugs to everyone who would like one
589-590 2 loads of washing sorted
591 bathroom bin emptied
Take care everyone

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off -
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bedSunday 07:50 & I am trying to get hot water out of the ‘magic tap’ at DH’s niece’s (S) place ……… 15 minutes later & I now have a cup of tea 🥳 So back to Saturday 😉 I had a lovely bath, got dressed, detangled hair & packed the bike with clothes for 2 nights, the 2 focaccias, flowers from my DSis for DH’s DSis (W) & DBiL (T) Their 60th wedding anniversary was 30th March but the big family party is today. DSis waved us off at just gone 17:30 (Sat) & we arrived at S’s at just gone 18:30. Got settled in, lots of chat & laughter then sat down to dinner about 19:30 with conversation & wine/beer both flowing freely 😊 Seven of us as S’s nephew (L) was visiting W & T. Delicious dinner - choice of fish pie or cottage pie with profiterole balls and/or sticky toffee pudding accompanied by caramel ice cream 😋Then settled down to a couple of hours chatting about all sorts of things made even more interesting than usual because of the viewpoint of a 26 year old 😉 W, T & L went home (next door 😉) just after 22:00, C at about 22:45. DH & I chatted to S for another hour or so before heading to bed.
Sunday is currently dry but cloudy although the sun is trying hard to beak through 🙂 I am about to try & make a 2nd cuppa & will then try to catch up with the cheerleading 🤞
It worked Craving_space 👏 You now have a signature 🙂
Well done Brie 👏 Fingers crossed you get your blinds soon, so your scarves can stay in pristine condition🤞
Excellent organic decluttering QueenJess 👏 I think you have hit the nail on the head - organic decluttering = maintenance decluttering 😊
Florenceem, so very, very sorry that the situation with MrF is getting worse 😢 All I can do is offer gentle hugs 🤗
Marpau, what a lovely solution to storing scarves 😊
SuffolkSue thank you for sharing your experience.
Florenceem, I echo charlies_tribe’s sentiments.
Excellent decluttering kboss2010 👏 “I need to stop keeping stuff that I don’t like/doesn’t fit because I have some insane idea I’m going to change my mind one day” this made me laugh out loud 😂
Oh wow charlies_tribe, congratulations on such a difference 🤩 You have worked very hard to get to this stage where you can now see what you have & can make appropriate decisions 👏 One medal 🏅coming your way 😊
Hugs Florenceem.
Well said vulpix.
Well done with the gardening Floss 👏
How annoying losing your post TC77 😖 Hope the cyst can be sorted soon 🤞 I remember reading about this ‘Dave’ so will try to persuade DSis to let me watch her telly as I believe she has Netflix 🤞
Oops Liverpool_Anne 🙊 Usually when I wake up on the sofa I make myself a Horlicks & go to bed & read 😉 Sometimes it actually works & I get a couple of hours sleep. Excellent decluttering of washing & drying 👏
Look at that - all caught up. Will wash & get dressed then get S to put me to work helping with party preparations 🙂 The sun has succeeded in coming out & there is lots of blue sky 🙂

What a lovely weekend for a party Mrs SD.4 pallets given away yesterday. A man came today to collect the massive concrete slabs on the top garden, put there by the builders. They were under the old shed. Sadly he and Mr V couldn’t pick ‘em up. Not a match for a couple of 30 year old fit builders. There is loads of stuff up there, it all needs taking to the tip or selling before I can crack on with making a garden. The plumber came at 11am yesterday looking poorly. He prepped for the tiling and said he would never drink again!
I spent the afternoon and evening gardening yesterday and only came in when owls started hooting in the woods at 8:30. There Is a wood pecker in there. I didn’t see him but he was busy.I am missing the convenience of a bathroom. Mr V has been bringing bowls of hot water up to the bedroom for washing. I have just knelt on the floor and washed my hair.More gardening today. I am loving it.Vx:18 -

Would love to know about the covid tests. OH is firmly in the "issues" category so wondering if he'll be sent some. Not that we need any as I still have about 50 that were being handed out at work.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Been awful time here. I had a shower last night and said to Mr F - bedtime - he had not been too bad in the evening - I got him to read a newspaper.
When we got upstairs he got undressed but refused to get in bed. He just stood by the bed for ages then sank to his knees and then full length on the floor. He wouldn't get up so I said - I am tired - going to bed now and turned off the light. I couldn't get off to sleep with him on the floor so it was out of bed - light on and try again to get him into bed. I got him to his knees then he fell back and hit his head on the night table - doesn't remember any of this today. Then he was kneeling by the bed and I tried again to get to sleep. Couldn't sleep so out of bed again and light on - still wouldn't respond - then he laid down on the floor. I turned off the light - got into bed and was so tired - I fell asleep and when I got up for the bathroom in the night - he was in bed.
He was okay when we got up then it went downhill. Had an ambulance out again - called by the mental health team.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45
