@Brie you may like something like this. DH made me some rails similar to towel rail which are attached to the back of closet door. As you can see they are due a tidy now winter is over

Then he started saying that he created the world and spoke of dust to dust and the Bible. Next he went silent and I couldn't get through to him. I eventually got an answer and while talking to 111 Mr F fell on the floor so they sent an ambulance - it came while I was still on the phone - lights flashing and siren. Paramedics got him to get up and on the bed - all his vitals were checked and okay - it is his mind where he is unwell. 

just a thought: he hasn't had a change in medication recently? My late mum had auditory hallucinations when her blood pressure meds were changed. I do hope you find out what's up, and may that be sooner rather than later.

vulpix - I phoned the mental health team - not open so given another number - was on hold for ages - then the floor episode happened - it is a Bank Holiday so lots of places are closed.
I wonder if the tablets are making him worse.

Can you read the leaflet about the tablets ( should be in the box they came in ) 

I realise you can’t name  the drug on here 

my late DH was given a fairly common drug as a muscle relaxant it can also  be used as an antidepressant.He very quickly had a similar reaction to Mr F ,

I am a retired nurse and realised ( it was also over a bank holiday weekend ) 
it is important to withdraw this particular drug gradually ,so I started to and took him to the Dr after the holiday when he was already much better .

The paramedics got him to agree to go out for a walk. I took him straight to SA as the officer was going to call round when he was free and I know he is so busy at anytime especially Easter. I was so embarrassed - the ambulance was still outside the house when I got Mr F out of the door - so many people waiting for an ambulance.
Mr F was talking to the officer in a lucid manner then it all went ape - I don't know what triggered it but he was sobbing and mumbling. I needed milk so left him there while I ran to the shop and they had had to lock the door as he wanted to leave. I took him straight home and he was okay then had another sobbing episode. I was talking to a former nurse about getting him checked for Dementia.

Another ikea bag of clothes in the car to donate and an entire bag of odd/old socks in the bin!

Handbags also organised into an organiser and 3 drawers tidied. 

Two pairs of old shoes binned too. I need to stop keeping stuff that I don’t like/doesn’t fit because I have some insane idea I’m going to change my mind one day.

Chipping away at the clutter a few bits at a time.

@Florenceem I'm so sorry your having to watch your DH like this. Remember to try to take some time for you to rest. Hope you both get some help soon xx

Spent a good few hours in the conservatory today, first in a couple of weeks. A bin bag of rubbish ready to go out. It's currently an organised mess. I've pretty much sorted the rubbish out and put like with like then I'll work through each section.
It's not touching the ceiling now.


Spent half hour helping dd3 tidy their room and dh has given the rabbit a good clean out.

charlies_tribe - I can see the difference.
I didn't go to Maundy Thursday service or to yesterday's service and witness.
I think it was me asking him if he had thought about going to Church tomorrow that started him off this morning - he is so full of guilt at letting people down when he has worked past retirement age for them.
