Two tadpoles sorted this morning one whilst in my PJs drinking tea.Brit Gas booked for Wednesday morning as it appears one of the copper pipes for the CH has sprung a leak. I discovered a little puddle whilst hoovering yesterday.
Wednesday afternoon has ‘Johnny The Windows’ coming to reattach some trim to the window surrounds post plastering (I know it’s been ages) and to attach a drip bar to the back door. That will save my kitchen becoming like the Nile Delta in flood season…..✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Hello everyone. I booked today off as I needed a day and spent most of the day doing stuff in the garden, doing lots of maths as the dog insurance isn’t enough for dog 1 operation….thankfully we have savings which will help…also spent time trying to keep both dogs quiet and restful and out of the mud….not an easy task….dog 2 has had his foot bathed countless times…..and I’m shattered!
the sun did me some good and one of my neighbours laughed her head off when she heard me threaten dog 2 that if he didn’t behave I’d poke his bad toe…
Thank you for your kind words, means a lot 🌼⭐️⭐️⭐️🥇🥇🥇 2024 decluttering

Mw, I'm not sure what is wrong with doggy 2s paw but if it's something that needs kept clean I always recommend balloon boots. They don't look tough but are and they can be washed out to keep it all clean. I wouldn't leave them on longer than the walk as paws sweat (to keep dogs cool along with panting) so they can get slippy inside which doesn't do their muscles any good.
Re doggy 1. Have a look at canine massage guild's page for information on cruciate as well. Insurance often pays for massage after the op to get the muscles back to full fitness. (Plus if one goes im sorry to say the other is likely to go within a couple of years, so massage can strengthen muscles to support the joint and delay or even make it unnecessary for a second op)

Beautiful knitting, sewing and crafting....
@Dfw38 so glad you got to see your dad again, and sorry such a long journey and poorly girls, take care of yourself, and the TLC carriage has bountiful supplies of all you need.
Day off and been working most of the time, except gave DD2 lift to school late as she felt ill - taking lots of iron which is giving her tummy ache, sat in DD1 flat while her landlord had a prospective buyer round, and she is worried about being homeless, carpet man came round to check the carpet which smells, although smells less so, offered to change if I think still smells but then took a bit away for other to test!
Theatre trip tonight which was good as meant to be holiday. Item posted for me and one for DD1. Picked up DD1 meds, 4th pharmacy lucky. More frogs tomorrow and down to my dad's. Rang place to quote for new kitchen at my dad's but haven't come back to me, and council sensory person confirmed picking up telephone and hearing aid stuff on Wed.
Haven't been counting but going to guestimate to 476.16 -
The clocks "Springing Forward" played havoc with my energy levels yesterday and this morning. A power-nap this afternoon helped and I felt relatively normal this afternoon. Smear test result came back negative which was a relief 🙏
Got a message to say that my glasses have been reglazed - I'm hoping they will delivered tomorrow. I'll be so glad when they have arrived as I've been finding reading and close work a real strain.

Hi all, I uu a notebook this morning and went through a deferred decisions bag that I knew had at least one in. I found 4 and a few more pens. I transferred the information I needed to keep, just a few lines and recycled the rest of the old notebook, sorted through the pens, 2 binned. We are going away for a couple of nights at the weekend as we have a hawk walk booked so I spent a stupid amount of time looking for reasonable accommodation near by but nothing booked yet so I will have to look again tomorrow. OH went out to do some messages and came back with coffee so as the weather was ok we had coffee over the fence with ln but it was only a quick chat as ln was going to a funeral and I was out for early tea with ex colleagues. We have an arrangement every 6 weeks or so and basically a whatsapp group thing so anyone who wants to or can make it turns up. Some have childcare or elderly relatives to work around so it's no pressure, come if you can. A few managed to make it tonight who haven't been able to for a few months so had a really good catch up, some nice food and they threw the last of us out at 10pm, they were literally mopping the floor around us
, but very good natured staff
. Nothing else done except a bit of crochet when I got home and wrote a list of what I have to do tomorrow as follow up from some of the conversations tonight
@Dfw38 this is a very hard time for you, please know we are all thinking of you, hugs
@EnergyShifter I can relate to the time thing, it always throws me, I still haven't sorted all the clocks yet either so get confused for a few days until I get them all sorted. Any chance of a pic of your Easter tree?
Hugs to everyone who would like one, off to bed now

Take care everyone

@Muddy_Walker I’m sorry about your poorly dogs. I agree with @daisy_1571 about the balloon boots for keeping paws clean and dry. I used them for years for my late Senior Doggy who had pododermatitis and they made a massive difference for him.For crucial ligament problem, if your vet agrees, there are braces which can be used to support the leg to heal without the need for surgery. US made but they ship to UK. https://www.whole-dog-journal.com/health/canine-knee-injury-brace-yourself/ (scroll to end for list of suppliers).
If you're on facebook, this group has guidance for finding a suitable brace if required. https://www.facebook.com/groups/caninecruciatestories/Might be worth discussing with your vet?
Best wishes.“Tomorrow is another day for decluttering.”Decluttering 2023 🏅🏅🏅🏅⭐️⭐️

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off -
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Monday I got up at 12:00 & again did nothing much apart from 15 minutes dealing with my post. I had a porridge pot for lunch. DH left for his walk 13:05, phoned 15:00 on way back from Mile End Park & got home 15:50 having done 8,900 steps. The HF box arrived 17:18, contents checked & put away. DSis did he washing which was partially line dried. DH went out for his 2nd walk to take him to 11,000 steps (it took him just a week to catch up all the missed days steps & the 5,000 steps I logged 👏). Dinner was pasta bolognaise 😋 Wudupa.

Tuesday is an overcast damp day. Instead of getting up at 9:30 when I had a bathroom visit I went back to bed, had another 75 minute sleep & have woken up with a splitting headache 😔 So todays plan is a mug of tea & a couple of parrots then a long soak in the bath. DH set off 11:40 on his first walk & DSis is in her room.
Apologies for falling behind again, so here goes
florianatwobob, hope DBro will soon be allowed home from the hospital 🤞Although pleased to hear that he is decluttering by proxy 😉 A shame that the rainy weather put a dent in your plans to completely sort the shed but at least the important bits were done - splitting & potting your Peace Lily & finding some outdoor lights 😊
Moorviews, well done on getting so much done 👏 Please don’t be too hard on yourself 🙏 You might feel that you are ‘tickling round the edges’ but in fact what is happening is that you are ‘in training & building up your decluttering muscles’ 😊 First stage of your training is sorting, tidying & decluttering visible clutter. Second stage is to either pick a cupboard or drawer OR one room & sort everything. Your training will stand you in good stead 👏 Lovely supportive 2nd half of your post 😊
Now, now TC77 ‘wagging finger emoji’ Another one of our fellow declutterers who is being too hard on themselves 😔 Remember you have a lot on your plate - working full time, decluttering TWO houses and also helping DD1 to find & move to a new flat ☹️ Also don’t forget you also need to eat & sleep 😉Very pleased to hear that your nephew is currently helping with the heavy lifting 👏 Please be as kind to yourself as you are being to Moorviews 🙏 I have everything crossed that the pencil extender comes out of hiding 🤞
Deni_debt-free_dreamer, well done on completing your charity walk 👏 18,000 steps is a long way 😥Excellent decluttering & well done on not having to through any food out 👏
Soontobeoap, pleased that you took up on my suggestion re numbering 😊 The cards are beautiful - you are very skilled 👏 I also love the hat & the crocheted cardi & dress which shows off your sewing skills as well 😊 A multi talented crafter 👏
fritzie-65, sorry to hear that RL has been so challenging 😰 I hope that you are fully recovered from Covid & that your FiL is settled in his new care home 🤞 It is lovely to see you again & I am sending both hugs & ‘positive decluttering vibes’ to help you continue your decluttering journey 😊 Great work keeping up with the day to day decluttering 👏 Breaking up boxes is wonderful for releasing emotions with the added bonus that it creates space quickly 😉
Excellent digital decluttering QueenJess 👏
Right, as I have caught up on a few posts I am off to have my bath. I might be quite some time 😅
