1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks to include MMiM - do this before I go to bed
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off -
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with ‘Urgent’ daily mail immediately & the rest at the weekend
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
Saturday I was up at 10:45 & am now having my 1st cuppa. It is overcast & very windy although the sun is trying to breakthrough 🙂 If the rain stays away it would be a perfect drying day as long as the clothing was firmly pegged 😉 The washing I brought in from the rain is dry & folded ready to put away, although I do have one small repair to make……which is now done 🙂 DH is watching MotoGP qualifying races as the season started this week & DSis is in her room. DH left for his walk 11:45 Back by 12:45 having done 5,000 steps. Then got changed for appointment at surgery with nurse practitioner. A complete & utter waste of time - she didn’t know DH had been in hospital nor that his blood pressure was fine nor that DH had had several blood tests with not a single mention of high cholesterol nor that DH’s consultant cardiologist had amended his medication & never once discussed statins 🙄 All she wanted to do was foist statins on DH almost as if being paid by a pharmaceutical company 😖 Makes me so angry 😤 DH left the surgery & went on his 2nd walk taking him up to 15,000 steps. Meanwhile I have done nothing all day apart from clear down programmes from TV planner. Cleared down The Last of Us - very abrupt ending. Caught up with Casualty - very distressing. Caught up with Chicago Med & Person of Interest. Hm soup for lunch, fish’n’chips for dinner.

Bag of charity stuff to the charity shop yesterday. It appears some if it flew off the shelves as soon as it landed.Visited DBro who is still in hospital. Still being treated as Covid + on top of everything else so we had to gown up etc to visit him.Decluttered a lot of money on new garden pots to replace those that had their chips during ‘The Great Freeze’ earlier this year. There are a couple more I gave my eye on but I’m trying to be practical and good. But the glazed pots are soooo pretty.Today (if it dries up enough) will be attacking the bottom shed. It’s had a lot of stuff dumped in it that needs sorting but also some of the house plants need splitting (they will insist on growing) and there is compost etc in there to do that. Which will mean job of the list & space created!✒️ Declutter 2025👗 Fashion on the Ration 2025 61/66 coupons (5 coupons silver boots)✒️Declutter 2024 🏅🏅🏅(DSis 🏅🏅)

Happy Sunday guys. Im taking it easy today! Yesterday went into town to get the last bits for DS2 trip to Nepal next weekAlthough we had to go back in this morning to take most of it back, I think we are now sorted.Had a good go in the greenhouse this week, cleared one side completely and then worked on the potting table and then sowed my first lot of seeds. Taragon, sage, tomatoes; vine orange and cherry, courgette, and something else, cannot remember!! need to do the cucs soon too. These are all decluttering old seed packs so hopefully they will germinate! Also decluttering a shed load of cobwebs
dont think the spidys were to happy about that!!!

A bit of digital clean up for today; just got to do my daily photos/videos later. Cleaned the washing machine with a cleaner yesterday, so will clean the outside of it and the inner rubber bit, powder drawer a bit later if I get time. Then need to continue to tidying/decluttering in my bedroom. Slow progress is being made, which is all I can ask.Kitchen and bedroom seem to be an area of concentration at the moment since they are some of the more messy rooms. Will have to go back to kids toys soonish as DD has received lots of lovely gifts for her birthday and I should see if any need to be decluttered or should be rotated into the attic for now.Decluttering figures:10,558-10,658 - emails permanently deleted10,659-10,663 - bookmarks deletedI also found my phone keeps text messages forever... discovered the option in settings to delete them after 1 year since I'll never read them that old.Things may slow down as I need to start doing gardening stuff again, but then I should have another clear out of the shed whilst I am there.. I have a rough guide at the moment for myself of 10 physical things, 100 emails and 5 other digital items to declutter daily. No big issue if I don't meet those and will be temporary until the digital stuff runs down. I currently have just over 3,000 emails in total in my inbox/folders/sent/trash.2025 decluttering: 3,550🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

And he did clean up the table (but left a few new things out that I might need to tidy away....why???) but he didn't put out the trash which we did as a "couple's activity" this morning.
So we have what I consider to be at least 1.5 portions of coq au vin available for this evening. I've suggested adding some more mushrooms that are sitting about and then he can have the more chickeny bits with the last of the sour dough baguette and I can have the mushroomy bits with a jacket potato. Otherwise he'll want to add another chicken breast which I don't really enjoy in this kind of dish - I always think it needs the dark meat instead.
Off now to put away the 5 euro note he unearthed from his wallet and review the credit card receipts from the hols to ensure that everything has been charged for correctly and then I can bin the lot.
fyi - I've got into the habit now of emptying my email bin every day to save from accumulated clutter there. As is common after travelling I'm getting a huge amount of junk mail - up to 40 a day so need to keep blocking those so they will eventually stop.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Hi, we have had a day off. No rushing about. I have done lots of washing. Lots and lots of tidying and sorting has happened today. Things that have been brought home have been found a home. We haven’t brought much. There are piles of stuff waiting to be distributed to various locations. At the bungalow there are two large boxes waiting to come here and be sorted. Photos and papers. Mr V, his friend and SS will empty the garage on Wednesday. We have ordered a skip. Our church shop has a window display of mil’s collectibles. Mil would be so pleased.I have managed to oust quite a bit over and above usual household recycling and rubbish. Clearing a complete house has made me even more ruthless with my own belongings.I now have about a week to finish the rocking chair before DS visits with a van. I was about to say it will be nice to get back to normal but we are starting on a new bathroom next week. We have to say yes whilst he is free.Huge thanks to bit by bit. She has been an incredible help to me. It’s amazing how we met through this thread, it’s like we have been friends for years.Too much to list individual items but new total is 178.

No lie in here - I had done a whites wash so ironed SA uniform shirts and blouses before Church. I went on my own - Mr F was going to watch the service online.

New passport received 🥳 was worried it would get caught up in the strikes. Not that I need it, as we are on a holiday moratorium to save up for America next year.
We have thrown about 4 broken food boxes, plus so extra lids (no idea where they came from). We have also bitten the bullet and bought a set of food boxes ready for meal preps which has been going OK. Currently cooking a lasagna which will be divided up and frozen.
Stairs also now all fixed - by which I mean my dad pulled them all out and replaced the entire botch job with proper wood. Saved us an absolute fortune, and now no risk of falling through when the stairs broke. Unfortunately the black bin was nowhere near big enough to hold all the waste so that will be a great joy when it's all gone.
Good wishes have been sent as I have been reading along as well, I can see there are some tough times at the minute 😔 but I hope brighter times are on the horizon x13
