Just popping in. I managed to pass on loads of family photos to my deceased ex-husband's brother today. Into the house probate paperwork, which is going to the solicitors as soon as I can make an appointment.13

Sorry I didn’t get back on Saturday. Ended up watching several recorded programmes from TV planner whilst knitting & finishing off a scarf. Then read half my book. Cooked dinner southern fried chicken, oven chips & sweetcorn. DSis & I watched Crufts Agility & Flyball competitions. Wudupa. DH got back from his 1st walk about 16:15 having done nearly 10,000 steps. 2nd walk was before dinner. He has now completed 11/31 days 👏 No further problems with dizziness etc just aching leg muscles 😉
Sunday I was up & dressed about 10:00, made my cuppa & continued reading my book which I finished about 16:00. I did take time out to mend the holes in the uppers of my Sketchers trainers (almost colour matched 😉)- a very untidy fix but better than toe nails showing through 😂 DH went for his 1st walk 13:15 to 14:50 7,500+ steps. We had the last of the hm soup. 16:30 we started prepping dinner - pork joint salted & all vegetables peeled. DH has shredded all vegetable peelings & then gone off for his 2nd walk. DSis has been in her room all day apart from the odd appearance to make a cuppa. Sunday has been a dry day although just starting to drizzle 17:45

Loving the cat psychology stories 😊 Thank you to Floss, gettingthrifty for sharing their memories of cat behaviours, I am really enjoying reading them 👏 There was me thinking cats were independent creatures 😂
What a lovely post Dfw38 😊 So pleased & happy to hear that all your decorating & decluttering is making life calmer & happier 😊 Sounds like your eldest DD is growing up - allowing a few of her clothes to be handed down to her sister & not objecting to some being kept for her brother 🙂 I would like to award her a medal 🏅 As to the 7 bags of decluttered clothes 👏 perhaps half to sell & half to donate to CS? Whatever decision you reach will be the correct one for you 🙂 Also so pleased at the wonderful news that you & DH are spending quality time together 🥰 must be so difficult when you have children. The combination of such much clothes decluttering & carving out time for you & your DH has inspired me to send you a Gold Star ⭐️
Sorry to hear that you missed vulpix’s visit bit_by_bit 😔 However well done on delivering more items to CS and resisting the temptation to buy anything 👏
DSis came down complaining that she had a bad headache but when asked if she had eaten or drunk anything, her response was no to both 😔 No wonder she has a headache 🙄 It is 20:45 & she is picking at her roast dinner - pork (a disappointment as no flavour), cabbage (nice), roast potatoes (lovely) DH & I also had roast parsnips, sprouts with bacon & chestnuts drizzled in maple syrup & kale. Lots of washing up which I will tackle later.
TC77, pleased to hear that the wardrobe was picked up 🙂 even if the purchaser couldn’t help with the bureau ☹️ So much for ‘tell us once’ 😂
EnergyShifter, Pleased to hear that your 1st CBT session went well & that you liked the Therapist 🙂
Excellent decluttering Florenceem 👏
Sounds like a lovely evening Muddy_Walker 😊 Still enjoying the lovely tales of cats owning humans 😂So very sorry to hear about your poor cat 😢 I hope the owner of the staffies was prosecuted 😖 I adored your last comment “cats are real characters who just don’t care about most humans or other creatures but when they show you affection you feel like you can walk on water 😊”
Floss, my mum’s & sister’s cats were mostly boring by comparison 😉 Although they did have a dog who loved Parmesan cheese 😉
DSis has gone back to bed but she did manage to eat about a third of her dinner 🙂 I am going to post this & then will try to catch up with cheerleading in a separate post 😉

Sunday evening-itis
I watched the main crufts final and was really hoping the wolfhound would win (I have a soft spot for them) but it was a very happy spaniel instead!
very happy Road Runner won the flyball as they had such a horrible journey from Belgium and were in an accident over here too.
deleted some more emails, started some other decluttering then OH annoyed me and after the MRI yesterday got a massive bruise where they mangled the needle thing in my hand.

well done on the frog @EnergyShifter and deleting @Floss
music room, now devoid of mrpiano and ds's stuff can start going again - shifted desk from ex's parents, now both deceased, into its 'forever' home and woo hoo found the key for the left hand cupboard (empty) and realised the right hand wasn't locked - it was held closed with blutac! open door revealed 4 drawers, 3 full of stuff to sort.MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

Hi all, started the day by trying to find a craft fair but although we found the road we couldn't spot the actual place. I like to have a nose for inspiration and to pick up unusual gifts for birthdays but I am sure more will be happening. We then called into MrT for a few bits and decided to go to a cafe under new management for brunch. It was quite busy but I don't think we will be going back as the service was very slow, we didn't get our food for over an hour and had well drunk our coffee by the time it arrived, then had to ask twice for more coffee. The toast was so hard I couldn't cut it. When I paid the bill, which was quite pricey, I commented about the toast. Yes we get that a lot, well have a word with the chef, it's the bread, well change the bread then. First time I think we haven't left a tip! We did have a lovely chat with the lone lady on the next table though. The conversation ended when she received a phone call from the police to tell her they had found her husband lost and confused at an undergoing station with no idea where he was or how to get home having been to the end of the line and back. I offered her a lift to get him but she said the police were bringing him home and she only lived around the corner. I have no idea where she thought he was, he carries a card with his name and address on and her contact number. I can see lots of problems for her in the future
. It was 3pm by the time we got home and OH suggested we got the chop saw out to deal with some of the wood. I said it's too late, we need to start earlier in the day but would it be possible to sort some of the stuff that is still sitting in the hall and should be in the car? Didn't feel like doing that but did get to grips with making the lemon possit and did some tidying in the kitchen! I nearly fainted from shock
. I will have to finish it tomorrow though
. I sorted the last 2 cubby holes and put a few things away where they now live, parcel paper and padded envelopes, sellotape, gift tags etc, a few items into the car boot box and I found a pile of paperwork belonging to OH which I just handed over and have actually been sorted, mostly into the recycling, the rest went into the banana boxes. The draws still need to be sorted but we are close to being able to move it. I spent a short while on the emails and did some crochet after tea.
Quite tired now and I have to be up early to chauffeur OH to a hospital appointment so I will just say that anything that goes into my spam I usually check the sender in case it is from someone I know, I had a spate of emails from my nephew going into spam, (?), and then I just delete them. It's quicker than opening and unsubscribing. Well done everyone on all the hard work and hugs to anybody who would like one
So after all that
527 cubby holes emptied
528 100 emails permanently deleted
Take care everyone

Excellent email decluttering DundeeDoll 👏Surprising how neat & tidy things look when they are all boxed up 🙂
Excellent email decluttering & tidying Liverpool_Anne 👏 I will keep everything crossed that OH tidies up after himself when he has finished making the lemon posset 🤞 Sorry to hear that OH is allergic to cats so you couldn’t get a replacement for your 19 year old cat - apparently the human equivalent is 92 years - that is a good age 🤩 Re the BBC/Gary Lineker debacle - from my pov shame on the BBC 🙄
Excellent weight loss GrannyKate 👏 & 2cm off your waist is brilliant 😊 Great decluttering as well 👏
Not really off topic wort as you are ‘decluttering’ lovely cat memories to a wider audience 😉
Good luck on your new challenge Dfw38 🍀
vulpix, sorry to hear you are still suffering with sinus problems ☹️ Perhaps you can have an NHS online chat with a doctor re B12 injections. I think SD has been watching too many decluttering programmes 😉 Empty everything out so it can be seen ‘forgetting’ that that is the easy & occasionally fun bit 😉Then leaving you to make the decisions & arrange for delivery, pick ups etc 😱 No wonder you despaired 😩 However the enormous amount of work you have done merits a Gold Star ⭐️ which is on its way. Hope you enjoyed your Sunday lunch & spent the day relaxing with Fomo 😊
gettingthrifty, seems an odd thing for emails that you are expecting to go into ‘spam’ 🤔 Perhaps you can adjust your ‘spam filters’ 🤞
QueenJess, sounds like you are a techno genius 👏
Great decluttering roundtuit 👏 Good luck with your MMiM 🍀 you have made a good start - well done on getting “round to it” 👏
QueenJess, you must have been so shocked that I am surprised you managed to do any decluttering 😉 However excellent work/decluttering in the attic by both you & DH 👏 DS was definitely channeling his inner Dilly which is obviously what your DH needed 😉 Clearing out 27 empty cardboard boxes must have created so much space 🙂 Perhaps you should start counting DH’s decluttered items especially the paperwork as you are the one doing the shredding 🙂😉 Brilliant decluttering of online accounts 👏 Hopefully you will get quick responses for the last 17 accounts 🤞 Good luck with topping up your pension pot 🍀
Excellent decluttering & tidying Fayolle 👏 Thank heavens you didn’t start the washing machine - it would have taken forever to get rid of the milk smell 😂 Well done on keeping up with the more out than in 🥳 As you are doing so well I am awarding you a Gold Star ⭐️ keep up the good work 😊
What an excellent idea re digital photos, QueenJess - thank you for sharing 👏
You have definitely earned a day off from decluttering, Florenceem 😊
Floss, I see several people have already given you “permission to delete” the digital folder of photos of your ex husbands family 👏 I will add mine to vulpix, Muddy_Walker & GrannyKate 😄
I will carry on with the cheerleading later today, when I have my first cuppa 🙂

I am home from my "vacation" at my sister's house. I was there to babysit her dog - he is about 18 years old. It was nice and quiet there. I tried watching a little tv but only ended up watching an hour of Tiny House Nation (how to live in a tiny home and get rid of most of what you own - wouldn't work for me). My ideal tiny home is a recycled bookmobile with bookshelves already built-in. I was able to rewrite a couple of chapters on my book and review several other chapters.
At home, they are still moving stuff up and down the stairs to get the roommates moved. Way too much stuff here. I did come home with a bag of cookbooks, but they will stay in the car until I go to the library as they are for the book sale. We sell 50 to 100 cookbooks at least every sale.
@QueenJess - my father used to use a different middle initial with every thing he subscribed too - then he could tell which company was selling the names to others.
Tomorrow I have several frogs to work on as well as going to the library to get ready for the book sale.
We are having another one of those weather "streams" coming in on Tuesday. Will hit the east coast by next Friday. It is supposed to contain more rain than we had in the last storm and there are still parts of California being flooded especially up in the northern part. It doesn't look good weather-wise for them. But the projection is for nice sunny weather for Friday for our Book Sale which we will have outside again.
Stay warm and dry.

Right up and ready to go. Children and school runs all week except this morning - not sure there is a lot of point in tidying. DGD4 did help sort her room before they went to their Mums after tea last night. I tried the 'todays' photos idea and found one set for 12 March 2019. Day trip with DGS4 - about half deleted as blurry or back views. I will see if there are any for 13 March as I drink my morning tea and then perhaps go backwards to beginning of March as well when I have a chance. Thanks for congrats on weight loss - I am persevering but it is hard going. Need to take myself out rather than sitting in house bored as that makes me eat. Spreading calories out throughout the day better is what I need to do.
Watched last episode of Endeavour last night then the documentary afterwards. My sister in US has this evil bug mainly affecting head and sinuses but bil is recovering slowly following his stroke.
