@EnergyShifter- it’s fine to be ridiculously pleased with oneself - in fact everyone should be ridiculously pleased much more often. Sometimes just getting to the end of the day is enough.Hugs everyone and keep safe.x15

I finished reading a book last night but although it goes on my 2023 books read - it can't go on my decluttering total as it came in after January 1 2023.
I am having a day at home - no organised events at SA today although I can always go there and find something to do. Working on some crafting.
I need to start on the advertising for the next table top sale - only 4 weeks space between sales this time - I get 5 weeks for the April one.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

@GrannyKate - If your sister in the US has the same bug I've got, it really is an evil bug. I'm going on my fourth week of coughing and being tired with headache. Hope she gets well soon.12

Thanks for the gold star and dds medal. She is very happy about that!
Today I went and got the box back off of dh as my 'measuring device'. I tried counting the things that were being decluttered but the method didn't 'fit' how I wanted it to. Maybe one for the new year when I am in a different frame of mind!
So today I have rifled through some of the clothes previously bagged and donated 2 bags for charity and 1 bag of toys (preapproved by dc to go). These bags filled 1 box so only 89 boxes to go until I hit target 😬!
Yesterday when dh moved his wardrobe back (finally....) he didn't have time to sort through his things so we will be doing that hopefully some point this week....
Went to town today for some errands and picked up a pair of short pyjamas (don't currently own any summer pyjamas) and some new undies and socks as mine were holy ones and needed replacing as a matter of urgency 🤣. Have a night of random things to do. Got to do some filling in ds room, roast a chicken and prep for tomorrow and then going to settle down for some TV. Less than 6 weeks to the Marathon so am trying to factor in more rest times of an evening although all being well I should hopefully start painting ds room Thursday night🤞. Hope you all have a lovely night.2024 decluttering Campaign

Yes OH has been forgiven even though I had a rant this morning and shouted at him….he shouted back….🤣🤣
so decluttering today:
selfish neighbour (I have nice neighbour and selfish neighbour) left me a tiny amount of space to pull out as her and her boyfriend blocked me in 🤬. Only in the office once a week and was late. She does a lot of nights doing nurse type stuff so I didn’t want to disturb her.
didn’t have chance to declutter patience with work colleague as they left most of the work for me…….
when I got home strong wind had smashed up my mini greenhouse and some pots (more 🤬🤬🤬) and I have a rattan chair and cover gone missing.
round to selfish neighbour who wouldn’t answer the door so I e asked hubby to text her. She will respond to hubby quick enough!!!!!! Don’t know if he did as he’s still working.

Amazing amounts of decluttering done on here.
Nothing has left the house as such but I did sort 6 boxes of stuff vulpix dropped off on Saturday and the bags are in the car to go to the CS or stuff stored for other projects.
Vulpix kindly dropped off some more items today. I will sort that out over the next few days.
I have stayed in and cleaned, vacuumed and sorted out several frogs today. One doubled as I found my driving licence was out of date. I have saved myself just under £200 on my car insurance so I am glad I followed advice on here.
Also 15 monutes spent sorting out the photo hoard. Plenty to go.

Dashes in as have yet to pack for Manchester tomorrow... will need layers, it's gonna rain.
23 minute mission number 21: tweaked the CD's so they fit better, just need to get the box sets and oddly spaced stuff in the gaps.
Deferred Decisions: 220-245: CD's to charity shop bag.
And the usual mish mash of recycling etc:
1280-1290: 8GB data and 50 emails deleted.
1291-1315: items to bin
1316-1333: items to recycling.
1334: finally took sold DVD's to the High Street shop yesterday. Really fast turn round.‘Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.’ David Lynch.
