@gettingthrifty beautiful cat, mine would have trouble lying on the top of my radiator. When he gets too hot he lies on his back with his legs in the air on the rug😂Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.13

@Dfw38 love you beautiful tidy loft. I did ours recently and it now only holds DHs football shirts and programnes and christmas decs. Trouble is every time I go up there and see that lovely empty space my mind runs riot into how we could make it into a mezzanine in a small third bedroom. It would have a little window looking over the houses onto the River .... ...... Mmmmmm. I am always dreaming of house inprovements.craft stash 2023 =161, 2024 = 119 2025 = £25.96 spent, 128 made and 5 mended,

Thanks @Soontobeoap. We have got dhs 'books' for his self employed business, reference books for his work, Xmas Dec's, fan and air conditioner. Decorating supplies and loft insulation stuff and camping stuff/suitcases. Dh needs to run through the camping stuff but isn't going to do that at the minute. It makes such a difference not having it crammed but takes real effort to stop it from happening! Especially as we don't have much storage in the house - something we are hoping to improve as we go through the house and decorate. We were thinking of doing a loft conversion but got some truly outrageous prices back which would have priced our house out of the street! Would love a loft bedroom one day though....maybe in my 'forever' home. I am.like you and am always thinking if things to improve the house 🤭

Well done @Dfw38 👏 👏. I'm so impressed that I've risen from my recliner here in TLC carriage to delurk and congratulate you 💐 🥳. Fantastic frog-busting. Xx I'm hoping the fact that I'm a weeny bit envious will spur me on to greater things in March. 🤞
I'm reading along and making sure everyday rubbish and recycling is leaving the house but nothing else to report on the decluttering adventure. Lots of ideas, plots and planning going on but no actual action... now what do they say about the road to Hell being paved with 🤔
Hugs to all. Especially to the North Lincolnshire posse 😊

I found a collection of valentines, Christmas and birthday cards from Mr V in the office. They will be of no interest to anyone else so they have gone. Call me harsh.Just about to put a blind up in the sitting room together ,so we will be divorced soon anyway. 🤣We have only lived here 18 months. I thought I had decluttered down to the bone beforehand. Minimal stuff has come in.I must be getting more ruthless as I am still finding stuff to go.I am still curtain wrangling.Vx:16 -
More things moved from the bedroom down into the dumping room. This is my new name for what was MiL's bedroom and is currently acquiring things that the OH claims he's taking to a boot sale. Not sure when or where but I'm not going to argue with him about it. I do hope it's not going to be in August as I'd like to get the room tidied and fitted out as a visitor's room so we can be a bit friendlier.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Debt Free Wannabe, Old Style Money Saving and Pensions boards. Aaaaw thanks @roundtuit, in all honesty I could do a frog a day and probably wouldn't run out this year 😳🤣. Want to join me on my new personal challenge? 'Mini Missions in March' I am going to spend 23 minutes sorting, decluttering and cleaning out a cupboard/shelf/drawer and aim for 31 of them to be done by end of March.
I am also going to set another challenge for myself of 'Making things in March' where I am going to aim for 10 things I am in the process of making/creating.
Well done on being more ruthless @vulpix 🤗2024 decluttering Campaign
