Off work this week but have been busy so not as much decluttering done as I would have liked.
However, have spent some time with mum and sister and helped start to clear out the beach hut which needs to be done by the end of March.
Buckets and spades sent off to a playgroup, several bits in the bin but some stuff did come home with me.
Also recycled half a squash into some soup.
I'm going to call it 100 items though which brings my total to 236.#13 2025 Cash Envelope (or online) Saving Challenge

A few more emails read, deleted or filed. It’s surprising how electronic clutter feels as good to get rid of as physical things and I can feel my head clearing too as the number in my inbox falls. I am hoping this will make home admin easier to do.

Been decluttering clothes today. Got rid of 2 white shirts, wash me out with my colouring - cream is a better colour for me. Also got rid of a black polka dot dress, again colour isn't for me and a very heavily patterned dress that I bought 5 years ago and have never worn so it will probably never be worn. I don't have many clothes in current size as I am aiming to lose 2 - 2 and a half stone. I have quite a few new things in the size I am aiming for so it was nice to get them out and see again - they all sparked joy, were in the colours I love wearing (I'm an autumn just discovered). I have quite a few spaces within the categories of clothes in my size to be so have made a note of them and the colours that I want and will keep my eye out for them. The 'future' clothes are really nice and it will be nice not to dress like a student now I am heading for the big 4-0 this year. I don't think I can pull that look off any longer 🤣
Started sorting the dcs clothes out with them including the hand me downs and most of their stuff will have to be replaced over the year. Had serious growth spurts 😳. The girls also don't want to hand their stuff down to the next one in line- several tantrums so I have decided to just give to the cs. I could make some money on vinted but the temptation to spend rather than sell is too much at the minute and we need to reign in all spending. Huge hugs to everyone.

Hi, not been on here for a while but definitely discovered the joy of decluttering 😀
Ive donated loads to local charity shops - not an easy feat carrying bulging bags in busy buses. I've made 3 trips into town this week. I didn't list everything but here's the things I can remember.
Round chipboard table and tablecloth. I would usually store this in the loft just in case but not now. I took it to pieces and actually carried it in the bus to the charity shop !!!
Black linen skirt and trousers - never worn these in about 10 years.
12 balls of wool - would you believe it, I actually got rid of some of my stash.
More DVDs
Two bags
Three folders
Two ornaments
Three candles
Two lipsticks and 2 eye shadows - these were just binned.
Tomorrow my friend is visiting and while she's here I'm going into the loft so there will be more decluttering. I'm very wary going into the loft as I fell out of it once. I must have had an angel watching over me that dayDebt free - Mortgage free - Work free ( in that order)

Popping in a quickly again. Still decluttering very slowly, but it's still forward bit by bit 🎉.
Today's decluttered are:67 & 68. 2x old phone cases
69 & 70. Nylon webbing pieces (for belts and bags)
71. A broken Smiggle watch
72. Old phone book
73. Happy Birthday 40th badge
74. Workshop manual on disc, for a car that's long gone. I know 😬
75. Old box of pencils
76 - 78. Scart cables
79. A random lead
80. Old metal plate for a PC that's been gone for about a decade 🤦
81. An old broken graphics card for the same PC that's been gone for about a decade.
I have to admit, I'm dreading tackling the mountains of paperwork I've kept just in case, from God knows how many years 😭. I read somewhere your only supposed to keep up to 3 years back, and that's all that's really needed. I have to double check that myself though 😬.
I have to convince the youngest DD to have a declutter of her own next week...wish me luck, I'm going to need it 🤞
