DundeeDoll, I take it that it was an unscheduled closure of the Recycle Centre 😔 You are obviously doing a grand job of decluttering if your mum thinks you will run out of stuff to declutter 😊
For this week I am focussing on frogs and emails so
Monday 23 minutes rapid email declutter (ie don't deal with any that'll take longer than 30 seconds) - got rid of 100 frog #1 locate all old stamps to upgrade to new ones
Tues ditto frog #2 order garden refuse permit done
Wed ditto and I'm about to eat frog #3 - much overdue trip to the bank - emails now down to 1795MrsSD declutter medals 2023 🏅🏅🏅⭐⭐ 2025

The 6 bags in my hall destined for CS became 7 last night. We walked into town again today and took 3 bags of stuff to the charity shop so down to 4 bags languishing in the hall.
We walk into town and catch the bus home - can get a bus at our beautiful harbour - the sight always makes me happy.

Well I unpacked a parcel that was ready to go (am painfully slow at posting out ) as I had found more jiffy bags stored in the top of the cupboard and there was room to fill the parcel. Very strangely another dog collar turned up. Then realisation was these were the collars from my last 2 collies
but they are going together to the Border Collie Trust to help other collies. I am happy with that.
Had a dental check up this morning and was advised I owed no money! The girl would not have it. So what else would you do with the spare cash. Had a little shop around and took great pleasure in making some useful purchases. New apple peeler/corer in 1. This item takes up far less storage space than DH had purchased for me and was already in the CS bag waiting to go. 1 out 1 in.
Replaced a cup previously purchased for a friend as I needed to gift it to another person at the time. Again 1 out 1 in. Soon to go out again.
Ear marked an old fleece for the bin. Will save it being washed.
DH been busy decluttering wood from the bottom of the garden and putting it where it should be and has decided he needs to build another log store. We have the pallets to complete that task. I also decluttered some wood from the roadside after visiting a friend the other day, it will be 1 in and out via the fire stove

It's all negatives today.....finally received our Christmas presents from one of my brothers - posted end of November! I don't need the travel coffee holder but it's got my niece's company logo on it so ok. The macedemia nuts will be enjoyed so that's ok. But does anyone need a tin of Spam? And a Spam cookbook?? If so why???? So do we eat the Spam? (ewww!) Or give it to the foodbank when I don't like to give them anything I wouldn't eat/serve myself.
AND the biggie.....our boiler has decluttered us. It's been iffy for months, was ticking along ok this morning, OH had a shower, I washed the breakfast stuff, no problem. And now nothing. Won't turn on. The boiler people we have used for a few years might be able to come tomorrow afternoon. Otherwise it's likely to be next week. At the earliest. And no guarantee that they will be able to fix anything and replacing it (which has been vaguely chatted about for a couple of years) may take some time.... Thanks for the gold star ⭐️ @Mrs_Salad_Dodger, much appreciated! Some days I feel like I could do with one of those to wear in real life!@Liverpool_Anne oh if only I’d known! I could’ve sent the tangled mess to you 😂
the next stage is that I want to roll all the many many balls of wool up neatly and secure with clips to keep them that way… hopefully that will be a nice calming activity.@Dfw38 that looks nice and neat 😀
oh no! @Brie 😫 I hope you manage to get the boiler sorted quickly 🤞I thought I’d share a before and after pic of my herbs and spices. I’ve moved them to a bigger drawer and bought new containers to decant them into. I wrestled slightly with that idea , but something needed doing as the lids on lots of the ones I buy don’t close properly , so they spill all the time. The nice rectangular jars don’t misbehave by rolling about either.

Thanks @DundeeDoll and @donna73. A job I had to put off for a while (shattered roof tiles amongst the old mud and stones as we had roof replaced in the summer) glad it is done, just need to do the dront garden now (and rhe bit behind the shed.... @donna73 that drawer looks amazing @Florenceem wow what a view- cheered me up seeing your photo!
We might be decluttering my car... picked dh up from work, he starts driving us back and the engine starts tapping 😳. Wonderful.... it is old, I have had it nearly 5 years and never had any problems with it. But this happened with its predecessor...went on holiday with it, said to dh it sounded funny and when we got back the next day it wouldn't start at all. Thankfully it lasted the holiday... imagine breaking down on the ferry from the Isle of Wight 🙄 so we were lucky. The spooky thing bis dh had just replaced his van a few months previously and he has just replaced that van this week 🙄
@brie hope you get on OK with boiler. We had to replace our one a few years ago as packed up in the depths of winter. We were lucky that our eldest dd was very tiny and was happy to be bundles up in warm clothes and babu sleeping bag indoors and to have a quick turnaround time but blimey the money it cost 😖2024 decluttering Campaign
