Neroli2 said:Just a quick check in although sadly not a lot of decluttering going on here as other things getting in the way. So many of you are making great progress.
Hold in my hands twice then dispose if applicable but not buy a replacement !!Success is the sum of small efforts repeated day in and day out.Thats what I keep telling myself :-)14 -
Brambles, brambles, and more brambles. A major frog which is being tackled one leg at a time.17

Thanks @daisy_1571 and @QueenJess 😀 haha yes it is like organisational !!!!!!! A little oasis of calm.@GrannyKate snowdrops are so pretty 😍, good luck with giving up the cakes and sweets. I’ve been dealing with a lot of stress lately since my partner’s nervous breakdown in November, I know I’m very much self medicating with sugar and that it’s not doing me any good, but it’s so hard to stop. I really need to find something to replace it
Decluttered my mind a bit yesterday with a lovely long chat with one of my best friends and then a soak in the bath last night.Think I’m going to do just what’s necessary today and tomorrow, and spend the rest of both days in the TLC carriage. Possibly sorting out my wool into neat balls !Word for 2023 …PROACTIVE 🧡 2023 -decluttering campaign 1020/2023 ⭐️⭐️Saving towards paying off car in November…£720/£1500 🚗17 -
I watched Sort Your LIfe Out last night. I really like the team that help the people on the show. They seem very genuine and have very good tips. I did unscrew my kitchen sink plug to clean it after I saw Iwan Carrington do it. Mine wasn't actually that mucky, but I had no idea you could do that.
I tackled the kitchen last night after watching the new episode. I haven't finished yet so I have to get on with that after my shower. The shelving I use as the pantry is completely cleaned and reorganised at least as I did that last night, but I need to take everything out of three kitchen cupboards, clean them throughly and work out what can be kept and what can be binned.
I also need to brush my pets (outside in the garden to keep the fur out of the house!) clean off the garden furniture and finish cleaning one corner of the living room. The decorator left his bag of tools there so I hadn't moved it yet, but I will see if I can pick it up later (it is very heavy, but I think I could drag it!) and clean the floor and put the cabinet and lamp back in that corner.
I was looking at my beauty products again as the decorator replaced the back of my chest of drawers with a new MDF panel so we had to take the drawers out. I was looking at what I have in there. I am making my way through my serums and moisturisers very well, but I still have 8 bottles of leave-in-conditioner! I am using a thicker one now as a conditioning treatment, but I still have a silly amount. I need to remember to use them every time I wash my hair.
Oh yes, I know what I need to declutter. My husband's toiletries. He keeps saying he doesn't like his deodorant so he buys a new one and when I looked he has about 5 in there. I'm going to go through them when he wakes up. I suppose I could use the ones he doesn't like as room spray near the cat's litter tray rather than binning them. I'm going to declutter his hair with hair thinning scissors, that will save us money on a haircut. I did do it before months ago and I looked at a YT video the other day and it doesn't look that complicated.2025 GOALS

Hi all, well today was supposed to be the day that the box of craft stuff and tombola stuff was handed over but the friend I was meeting for lunch has cancelled. She has decided to go away for a few days which I am glad about as she is dealing with a difficult situation at home looking after her parents as well as working 2 jobs. There are 2 other adults in the house who seem to do nothing to help, 1 a 24 year old who spends his time playing games on his x box but expects others to do his washing and cook his meals etc. I have tried to give my brand of advice
but she has struggled to put any of it in place as she doesn't want to upset her Mum. Anyhow what it means is the items I was passing on to her will not now be gone for another week when I can get to drop them off to school, which I am a little frustrated about but that's life I suppose. As I now find myself not going out to lunch I am sitting here trying to decide what to do. I will procrastinate a bit longer with another cup of tea and a browse through my long list of things to do and then do something
Take care everyone

Wednesday - The sun is out now & the temperature is a balmy 13C 🙂 I have had a relaxing bath up until I heard my DH say it was half past twelve & I needed to leave the house at 1:00 p.m. Mad dash to wash my hair & rinse off, dry off & get dressed 😥 Then as I put my watch on checked the time & it was 12:18 🥳 Apparently DH said five past twelve - sometimes it pays to be a bit Mutt & Jeff 😂 Finished getting ready at a more leisurely pace - combing & plaiting hair + getting coat etc ready. Now off out of the door at 1:00 p.m. 🥳 As I came round the corner there was a bus which I thought was pulling away but the very nice bus driver was waiting until an elderly passenger had sat down so I managed to get aboard 🙂 - would have been a 9-13 minute wait. Sadly I lost some of that saved time by getting on the wrong DLR train ☹️ although I only lost about 4 minutes 😅 Arrived in Lewisham with plenty of time to spare & dropped off two bags of items to CS (quite a few items to list so numbers will go up nicely 😅). Spent £1 in the market for 12 Bramleys 🥳 Found somewhere to sit & basked in the sunshine ☀️ whilst waiting for TC77 🙂 as we had arranged to meet up. We found each other easily due to forward planning 😉 TC77 had kindly invited me to her house for a cuppa. A few minutes later we were there & sitting down & chatting about all sorts. I had a lovely couple of hours & I hope TC77 did too 😊 🤞Got home to find DH using the leaf blower/vacuum. Dinner was from freezer - cottage pie & peas for DSis, chilli con carne with rice for DH & me.
Thursday - dull & overcast & has been raining. Up & dressed by 10:00 a.m. & have just done wudupa which I neglected to do last night 😔

Took the 8 boxes of surplus art and craft supplies to a local charity project which had put out a call for supplies, for their workshops & programmes. It was all very gratefully received, and it’s completely out of my life now, which is great for everyone.‘When you only have two pennies left in the world, spend one on bread and the other on flowers. Hello all, I've been looking after my Dad and DH as they have both been ill, then I caught a tummy bug 🤢 so I have been in the TLC carriage for a while and hopefully now I can get back to proper decluttering. I was busy earlier this week raking up the leaves in the garden and now there is a green waste bin full and ready to be emptied when the council start up their collection again in about 2 weeks time.
Lots of bits from the office, too many to recall, have been binned/ recycled so now there's only only one bag of bits and bobs needing a home instead of 3 👏. Out this week a microwave which was on it's last legs and luckily the scrappy man was happy to take it. I have a new microwave but I'm still not sure what all the buttons are for 😲 Spin, rinse, wash ? 🤣
Hope everyone is well, hugs a plenty if not.
Take care all

I forgot I had to bin an outdoor clock too as it wouldn't tell the minutes only the hours. DH did try to revive it but no, it's dead. I bought a replacement this morning.
