I'm still firmly in the TLC carriage and trying to rest as much as possible to throw off this cold and ear infection. I did have to take DS to gymnastics this morning and I felt absolutely awful, so been lying down ever since.I did do the odd piece of digital decluttering whilst lying around and I did decide to review my nail varnishes since starting to use them again. I will get rid of a few I don't like.1,812-1,813 - computer files deleted1,814-1,817 - online accounts deleted1,818 - packaging (used)1,819 - app deleted1,820-1,823 - nail varnishes (Buy Nothing)2025 decluttering: 3,958🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Hello everyone!
too many pages to catch up on so if I’ve missed something very important I am sorry. Def not lack of interest but lack of time x
Decluttering wise….averaging deleting of 150 emails a week mostly junk….if I took up all the “offers” I’m being sent I’d look most peculiar with a gambling problem 😳😳
All cardboard gets put out now rather than being burnt…anything that needs shredding comes to work once a week with me and put in the confidential shredder.
underwear that doesn’t fit properly gets binned.
Dogs are brushed every other day and fur put in green bin.
I am finding I’m not buying as much junk food as I used to due to price increases…tight? Yes but I refuse to line CEO pockets with an extra 25per cent when their product has decreased in size.
have begun decluttering the weeds in the front garden as I’ve noticed they have suddenly started growing…
And tomorrow…….drum roll……I WILL be evicting the entire frog family which are the shelves in the bedroom……..I have put it off and put it off for months and months…..

Liverpool Anne you are on 🔥 fire. Love the sound of blood orange Cointreau.
Can I just say how proud bit by bit should be for quietly and diligently getting her house guest ready. You have smashed it girl.Sooty dust banished. Curtains back up. I need to wash the floor and put the rug down. I will eat a frog first and repair the binding on one corner of the rug. Only 10 years in the waiting. Another frog eaten. Sticky marks removed off the door where hooks had been stuck. 18 month wait for that one!
We have ditched the land line phone. It was only ever used by scammers and the Mothers. Neither Mother is up to using the phone anymore.
Bought the mirror I wanted from fb. On the wall. Love it.Love to all Vx:17 -

Well, I have spent some time in the TLC carriage, and have come back to over 700 posts! 😱I've had a clear out of the top of the drinks cabinet, as we needed somewhere to put all the hot chocolate for the hot chocolate maker Mr Puppy's got me for Christmas. So out - 6 bottles of low calorie syrup taken to work to be added to hot chocolate. 3 boxes of cereal bars being taken for lunch - down to one box left. 3 pot noodles gone with Mr Puppy. And a rearranging of what was left so now looks much better.Work is very stressful atm, so not much else gone out.
Now to hunker down and read 700 pages of decluttering...16 -
Evening All
Shredded more than 300 pieces of paperwork (lost count after a while) over the course of the day. I have a quarter of a box to go through and the keep box is around half a box, so will definitely have less than a box when I'm finished. Have spent most of the day getting the house ready, have a visitor coming tomorrow for a few days, so no more decluttering until Wednesday. We shall be out and about in London doing something interesting, not sure what yet but the possibilities are endless.
I'm finding it so motivating checking in every day that I hope I don't fall off the wagon after a few days away. I'll pop in and read the posts to keep me on track.Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can

@Fizz2015 .. I hope your family visits went ok....
First weekend with no sport for DD2 and she went off for uni day so I decided had to get stuff done. Went through clothes but decided I haven't given up faith (Misplaced no doubt) that I could get back in them at some point! Side table picked up yesterday - left it out as no free site takers, but out damaged clothes protector, around 6 broken folders, and the vintage folders around 30-40 picked up by a occupational therapist neighbour so avoided landfill, some electronic data, open large box file from dad's and got rid of most (some shredded) keeping bits that help with family interest etc, sorted (started) shelves in 'office' with all work stuff on one shelf and personal on another, other paper declutter, old food, sewed up lavender bags from before xmas (did find it calming to sew when I was anxious so will have to remember rather than snacking - which is why can't fit in my clothesEmail about mobile phone which came back worse from repair, going to write list of frogs as getting behind on them, and going to watch rest of Sort your life out... is helping as really don't want to spend all my evenings sorting things! Put some bedding away.
Giving myself 16 as also some labels out as lost stick - been labelling box files as organise study so working through things.
Did think about joining the scissor count, but they tend to move room, couldn't find any earlier and just seen 3 pairs in pot next to me - assorted sizes, did bring assorted nail and small ones back from dad's but DDs seem to mislay things so keeping all. Although want to do something with my blunt sewing siscsors but not sure what they can be used for. 269

Managed to declutter a box of food and a bag (over 40 items) to a family need. Didn't make a dent in what I have here however. I'm trying to sort what we have and pass along what won't be eaten here (we are fairly set in our ways I guess).
Tallest roommate changed a light bulb for me - the box the bulb came in claims it should last at least 8 years if not more. I hope so. It was very hard to reach.
Did my shopping for the week, so shouldn't have to again. I will be someone else's turn to buy the milk later this week. With all the food the food storage we have, we really should be able to get by with just buying fresh fruits and veggies. We even have long-life milk (I am the only one who will drink it) and powdered milk.
Have laid out my plans to go to the library several days over the next few weeks so I will have room to work on my book. I am determined it has to be done by this summer. I have all the information I need to go in it - I have to make sure the sentences are in the right order and that I condense the material. I have the first 40 pages done, but there may be about 450 pages. I will update how I am doing each week - maybe it will spur me on. In one month, I am taking a two-day vacation - at my sister's house all of two miles away - but no phone calls and just the dog to talk back. I hope to be able to work on the final draft of the book then. This will be my only vacation this year and it will be free. My sister said she will shop for what I want ahead of time.

Hi all quick post to say when I put the empty cardstock boxes back in the r-o-d I found I had 8 rather than 7 so was ridiculously happy. When I went downstairs I found OH busy in the kitchen making lemon possit. One of my favourite puds so I just did soup as we were having a lovely put
. On the flip side OH had been shopping without a list and bought 2 more shopping bags. I did mention this as we have loads and suggested that tomorrow would be a good time to sort out the pile of stuff in the hall as I have put a bag of bags on top to go into the boot of OHs car. I have high hopes it will happen as even OH was annoyed at having to buy more bags. I have not unpacked the bags either but I can see some rhubarb in there so I expect to be making crumble tomorrow
. I also completely forgot to sort the washing
so that will be my first job tomorrow morning, hopefully I can get it on the line if the weather holds. After tea I just watched a bit of telly and did some crochet.
@Vulpix, I wish I could declutter our landline but the mobile reception in this house is terrible, people call and it doesn't even ring so we have to keep the landline. Blood orange Cointreau is really lovely, one of the few alcoholic beverages I can be tempted by, I usually have about 3 drinks a year
Take care everyone

1. Write a daily To Do list - only 3 tasks
2. Commence ‘Operation Frog Tickling’ I have an acronym - I.R.I.S. being Identify, Research, Implement, Sign Off
3. Implement a new sleep/wake up regime - start going to bed earlier (target before 2:00 a.m.) get up earlier (target by 9:00 a.m.)
4. Deal with daily mail immediately
5. Don’t put it down, put it away
6. If I spot a mini task deal with it immediately e.g. refill olive oil pourer or salt cellar, stitch up a hole in a garment etc
7. Continue to keep kitchen clean & tidy - before going to bed
I did get dressed & have watched lots of TV & done quite a lot of knitting but not much else. I did complete one small frog though - I covered a plain cardboard box with some nice wrapping paper & used it in my second deep kitchen drawer, which I had emptied & cleaned. Together with a newly found basket the contents are now tidier & easier to find. However I have not returned the rolls of waxed paper, grease proof paper etc - need to find a new place to store them. DH went out for one long walk & got most of his current target of 6,000 steps. He will up them to 7,000 on Monday. Dinner was shop bought breaded chicken with oven chips. Wudupa.
548 - 554 Kitchen recycling, 2 cardboard boxes, 2 lots of cardboard packaging, drinks cans, newspaper - recycled
555 - 556 Kitchen detritus, plastic packaging - binned
557 Paper packaging shredded for worm bedding
Saturday has been a bit of a washout as didn’t do any cheerleading but I will try to catch up Sunday as now 43 posts behind 😱
