@vulpix wow! Looks amazing- love the way your cat is just standing on the table 😆.
@Mrs_Salad_Dodger it just shows a mother's true love that I would consider washing those sheets 🤣 dh is not on decorating duty... he really hates doing it but he is being roped in on Friday night because he is better at hanging paper than I am. You will probably hear his grumbling from where you are when Friday night comes around 🙄 we are lucky really never argue and are good mates as well as partners in crime with this parenting malarkey but when we first painted the house when we brought it 8 years ago we had never bickered so much in all the time we had been together. Since then it was decided that I would be in charge of decorating and gardening and anything else like that. Dh just helps with wallpaper and anything car related.
Been painting the woodwork today - will finish tomorrow I think, it needs 3 coats.
Going to implement the 23 minute technique tomorrow as I feel the house is getting away with me in regards to decluttering and cleaning as I am focused on decorating.2024 decluttering Campaign

I had a great time with vulpix today. Seeing the transformation of the fireplace in action was very pleasing. I always love to watch a crafts person work.
That hammer is a true treasure @regnbue
I had such a beautiful trip through the peak park this morning. It made me so happy and I decluttered some stress before I even go to vulpix's house. Very mellow now as I write. Vulpix it is a beautiful thing, although I don't think anyone would pay to hear me play it, pay me to stop more like! If all else fails I also have my Grandads harmonica to fall back on, although that looks like it might be even harder to learn.
Liverpool_Anne it's a lovely thing and even if I never learn to play it I will keep it because in the words of William Morris:
'Have nothing in your houses that you do not know to be useful or believe to be beautiful'
That could be my new mantra.
Mrs SD, I have now sorted more paperwork to be shredded than I can shred in one go, so we've got a bit of a backlog forming, but it should be sorted in a couple of days. Have shredded 40 pieces, binned a pair of broken shoes and another pair of holey socks (pointy toes).
Does anyone ever worry that when they get into the full swing of decluttering they might accidently get rid of too much stuff? Probably just little old clutterer me.Start where you are, use what you have, do what you can

No proper decluttering done but a ball of wool has been decluttered into a sock. I have another ball to declutter similarly. I am trying to not buy wool and use some of my little stash instead. Will see how it goes.Lovely decorating Vulpix and a great photo of the cat too.2024 Fashion on the Ration - 3.5/66.5 coupons remaining1 cardigan - 5 coupons13 prs ankle socks - 13 coupons5 prs leggings - 10 coupons4 prs dungarees - 24 coupons1 cord jacket - 11 couponstotal 63 coupons16
