Too much of a crazy busy weekend to do very much, and knowing that the next few weeks and weekends are much the same, being away from home, I was feeling a bit overwhelmed and deflated last night that I hadn’t done any sorting or decluttering. So I had a bit of a tidy round, hoovered, and did declutter some bits and pieces. Piles of paper etc. Now I feel better equipped to do a tiny job a few times a week that will hopefully make a difference overall. This evening after work I am out until late but am intending to tidy shoes by the front door. Hoping chipping away like this will help.15

I sorted my walking stuff out last night, one pair of overtrousers are being passed onto DNiece's Guide pack, 2 prs of trousers & a fleece are on Ebay & 1 pair has been kept in case I lose weight this year (ebay if I don't!). Day pack & rucksack were cleaned out of rubbish, pocket kite / bobble hat / mittens / gaiters put into day pack for a trip to the NE coast in a few weeks. Leather boots have been slathered in lots of polish, Goretex boots have been wiped down. Socks all checked for annoying snags inside & matched up and finally my waterproof and its fleecy liner were reunited.
Along the way I have a box containing a sleeve board, some extending hangers & a pair of skinnies that don't suit me. There's also a fleecy blanket, all to go to the chazzer.2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

Hello everyone...
Had a quick look around and think, and managed to squeeze in a little bit of decluttering before work. Today's decluttered things are:27. Old electric hand sander (kept just in case the other stops working).
28-32. 5x stuffed toys.
Think I'm going to keep pottering on with the mini declutters for now. I have less time to humph and hah, and I know I'm making progress. Even if it is bit by bit 😂.

@beshki and @nu1isit? Little and often is the best way to do this as people will attest on this board. It’s also the best way to change habits and not get overwhelmed. Take photos (I wish I had) and then you’ll be able to see how far you’ve come.2025 decluttering: 3,993🌟🥉🌟💐🏅🏅🌟🥈🏅🌟🏅💐💎🌟🏅🏆🌟🏅

Thank you for my first gold star MrsSD! I’ve polished it and set aside so it doesn’t get decluttered 😉‘When you only have two pennies left in the world, spend one on bread and the other on flowers. The bread will sustain life, the flowers will give you a reason to live.’Frugal living in 2024.

anyone else lie awake at night planning where to look next??? 🤣🤣🤣 I think I am becoming addicted to decluttering.Today I decluttered my computer’s download folder and sorted out DD’s toys downstairs (I’d already done it a few weeks ago). I also put a pile of things in the attic, but as my usual rule, I looked around and made sure I brought stuff out to declutter as well. One day it’ll look pristine up there!
Going to be smaller little decluttering sessions for a while now as I can’t face DS’s room in one go and it feels pointless until after his birthday weekend.

No SA today - our leaders are on holiday for a couple of days to celebrate a special Birthday.
I was asked yesterday if I can bake chocolate sponge for Wednesday's lunch club - need to make enough to serve with chocolate custard to feed 50.
Our SA only has one of those big rubbish bins with a lid - commercial sort. Until Mr F took on the recycling - all apart from clothes/fabrics/old bedding went in that bin. Clothes etc that are not usable/needed are recycled and we get an amount per bag. It is just that we are having a big sort out upstairs of stock that I have disposed of books. We only have so much storage space.
