2023 DECLUTTERING CAMPAIGN Mrs SD

I chucked away a bag full of bits and bobs today - old toiletries & makeup I won't use, a couple of too-small coathangers and the popped and squished down remains of DS's birthday balloons which were starting to look very sad. 16 things in total so I'm up to 150/2033. That feels like a nice round number so I shall treat myself to a cup of tea! ☕
I've found another taker for the toys that weren't collected so I should be getting rid of those on Wednesday. I will count them once they're out of the house and not before.
I know what you mean Mrs SD about maybe setting a separate target for big items. It does seem like they're worth more than small ones in terms of the effort required and space you free up. I shall think about it.18 -

I also unearthed some Easter bits I'd bought super cheap after Easter last year for gifts. A little too early to be thinking about Easter, but it's reminded me not to re-purchase stuff19 -
Floss - lovely glasses.
Millie2008_2 - I have lots of Easter bits that I bought reduced prices last year - made a note of where they are so I use them.Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Hello 🙂.
I've been lurking on here for a bit. Is it okay if I join in with a low target of 365? I've started already, but need somewhere to be accountable too. Or else it may not happen 😉.😇 Sealed Pot Challenge: Member No: 20: 2012 = £92.14; 2013 = £45.27; 2014 = £54.70; 2015 = ; 2016 = £70.38 2022 = £10.58 2023 = ???? 🍀 2023 DECLUTTERING CAMPAIGN Mrs SD 65/365 so far. 👾 The Other Way, or the MSE Way: My Personal Challenge 🍀 The Other Way, or the MSE Way: My Personal Challenge 201222 -
Finally decluttered a bin liner full of towels, and a dog coat that didn’t fit my lad - dropped off at the local animal sanctuary, where they’ll be appreciated more than having them rolling around in the back of my car.
Also got an offer accepted on a property!!
Absolutely chuffed to bits, and so proud of myself.
Super motivated to charge into the house and start packing & getting rid, and my ex can go hang.‘When you only have two pennies left in the world, spend one on bread and the other on flowers. The bread will sustain life, the flowers will give you a reason to live.’Frugal living in 2024.
