Have been a little busy with hospital visits as had to take mum in last week. Hopefully on the mend and out next week.Managed to sort though some of the Christmas Dec's before getting them into the loft although they haven't quite made it up there. But the box is no longer bursting at the seems. Also cleared a few items from DDs room before she goes back to Uni.I'm going to call it 50 items to add to the 58 already done so total is 108.New Windows being fitted next weekend so plan some more clutter shifting during the week.#13 2025 Cash Envelope (or online) Saving Challenge

I finally managed to finish my accounts so all I have to do now is the tax return bit - I want to be very alert when I do that so I won't try to do it this eve. I also need to nag DS to sort his income out for that tax year which shouldn't take long as it was the year he got ill so he earned very little.
Did some tidying / decluttering/rejigging and catching up with messages to friends & family.
Tasks- de-haired, washed & dried the cat-bed
- Re-jigged & cleaned kitchen after decluttering microwave.

OUT (running total 99)
100. Microwave

102. Pin board
103. DS' hoodie
Thank you for my medal Mrs SD 🤩

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger the charity shop is moving pretty much next door (bigger premises)
I can't wait to pop in for a mooch (may not help with my decluttering though.....)
Only one 'item' to report today:
81: Pair of flip flops for charity bag!
I really wasn't in the mood, but I find that better to plod on, as this is often the point where I give up and I don't want to do that..

I listed a few things on our local Facebook Freecycle page and got rid of our gazebo which I'm very pleased with as it was bulky. It always feels good to get rid of a large item even if it only counts as one thing in the list. I also listed a bundle of 4 toys and someone asked for them and said they would collect them yesterday. They didn't turn up but messaged me again this morning saying they will collect them today and didn't turn up again!

No decluttering has happened today.
Went to Church this morning and when I got home - had lunch and made some shortcrust pastry.
Back to Church for afternoon service and helped to set up for playgroup tomorrow.
When I got home - made 2 Tuna quiches and a jam tart. We had some quiche with a salad for dinner.
I have a day free from SA tomorrow so will be back to decluttering.
Can someone explain how I do a signature thing on my post please? I obviously knew back in 2015!Decluttering Achieved - 2023 - 10,364 Decluttering - 2024 - 8,365 August - 0/45

Started reading a couple of hours ago, and more to catch up already as we speed along
@coconurtaler sorry to hear about your mum, and hope she's being well looked after, and healing vibes to all in need as well as a reminder about the TLC carriage.
Too much going on, but did go to birthday dinner last night at friend's and took wine, chocs and pressies and decluttered a gift bag,
Several frogs done, but more - seem to hatch and grow quickly
Took many empty jars, thick duvet cover and electric blanket to donation hub
3 wheeler walker and computer desk picked up at my dad's, I post and DB hands over - still only tinkering!
been dithering about a carpet for room I used as an office until I decamped computer and files to my bedroom, and spend so long going in and out of shops, one bargain shop more frequently, and finally decided this is too daft as I need to have my office habitable - but been told fitters charge £10 per item they move so focusing my mind and hoping friend will help me move heavy things - fingers crossed carpet shop will do a deal.
Delivered DD1 mediation today, a nightmare finding it and driving round SE london.
Also took DD2's old bedside drawers to the tip... needed passport, council tax and wheedling to get them to help me get it out (DD2 dad kindly put it in the car). It's been on the landing for a few weeks!
Some papers declutter but need one more info and then hopefully tax done.
New headphones delivered ( as others couldn't be repaired and under warranty)
Need to rearrange BG and have outreach trying to sort out broadband... always something
Mrs SD I think all home crafted items snapped up at CS.
Cleaned kitchen bin - not my favourite chore
Sent off photos about getting few items restored - all the talk of what to keep from family.
Some receipts sorted, bill paid and note book used up (like others have a stash - trying to get through DD2s old exercise books as with her name scrubbed out don't look cool at my cookery or other classes I'm trying to do , and have some much nice ones I want to use
Also trying to wear my nice clothes and not keep stuff for best.... all work in progress
Just sent email trying to sort leisure membership - I never get emails... very minor in the scheme of things.
Hope everyone's week starts as well as it can.
Didn't manage the 100 things sorted in my bedroom but think I probably got to around 60 as my files are here and sorted some of them, receipts etc. Will try and do the 40 this week!
Giving myself 40 overall as not counting each bedroom thing but do feel moved some things forward. 14915 -
