Another bit of cheerleading but am off to bed now 🥱
Millie2008_2, what a marvellous outcome for your Mum & such a relief for the both of you 😊 Is the oncologist moving to a new hospital - if so perhaps you can follow him 😉 just realised that sounds a bit stalkery 😂 & now I see that he is retiring makes my comment seem even creepier 😬 How serendipitous - your slight wobble about letting the coat go has come out very well 👏😊
Lovely post Dfw38 😊
Keiths_Mum, ouch & double ouch 😣 but you were very fortunate that it wasn’t worse 😮💨 Excellent paper decluttering 👏 How very curious - 10m of elastic 🤔 Maybe you were going to replace the elastic in clothing 🤔
vulpix, good news about the snow not causing further disruption 😉 but what a nightmare that so many drivers are ignoring road closed signs 😔 Well done on finishing a lipstick 👏
Excellent & eclectic decluttering Blue_Doggy 👏
Great work EnergyShifter 👏 Love the idea that Nick Knowles is your reward & he inspires you to declutter 😊 I met him once, many years ago - a lovely man 🙂
Excellent decluttering D123456789 👏 Surely it should be new decorations for a new monarch 😉
Great decluttering mfwin2019 👏
Great decluttering ilovetea 👏 As to starting your frogs - no kicking on this thread - just gentle but insistent encouragement & a reminder of how good you will feel once you have dealt with your frogs 😊
GrannyKate, a fairly successful GP appointment - nothing unexpected which is always a worry 😔
DundeeDoll, Fingers crossed that the ‘pesky neighbours’ are decluttered very soon 🤞What an excellent 23 minute session 👏
Excellent work short_bird 👏 Good luck with more sales 🍀
Madbat60, lucky you - hedgehog visitors 😊

Good morning all!
Im way behind with reading of posts so will have to catch up with the news at the next station
Very excited to receive my second medal Mrs SD Thank you so much and for your kind words
The croaking of frogs from my to do list has been so loud I have been tackling some and realise why we call them frogs. Some of my frogs are so large that I have to break them down into the smallest 'next action' (dave allen 'getting things done method') and do them in stages
51- Frog- finally got a medical problem dealt with I've been avoiding since Nov 22 . Appt at rapid access clinic next week made by GP
52-Frog - 2 hours of my life lost trying to get travel insurance DH remains uninsurable (undiagnosed 9 years) but task is DONE Decision made holiday in UK only possible
53-Finance matter keep putting off, did next action, read paperwork, arranged an appointment with financial advisor next week
54- Cooker hood collected by council
55-old dishwasher collected by council
56-old fridge freezer collected by council
Our council will collect x 6 heavy items from your house per year free if you are a blue badge holder. Its worth checking with yours. They wont take certain things like wood but above items qualified.

@Mrs_Salad_Dodger the oncologist is actually being moved to a different area of oncology (kidney). We are both sad, as he gave us hope when things felt very hopeless
Just popping on to hold myself accountable, as I have 4 frogs to eat today

Thank you for my medal Mrs SD.A few things out yesterday for either CS or recycling centre.
Slowly putting things away. OH brought a box of my books back that he has been storing for me. A few of those can go and have started reading one which will go when read. Will start up a separate box for them so they can go to local NT property when full.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅18 -
Hi, plenty of snow overnight. I love how it makes everywhere quiet and picturesque.
We also have bats. No idea which type but they zoom up and down our road at great speed at dusk in summer.
Last night we thought we might have a chippy tea. Ah the chippy is on the other side of the bridge.Hahaha
Have a good day chums, just dropped by to keep up with reading posts.

43 new posts since yesterday!
I am meeting my brother next Saturday in London and I am getting a few keepsakes from my Nan from him. My uncle died last year and they had to clear out his/her old house and most of the family have taken things already. I just told him to pick me out a few things from what was left. No monetary value, but sentimental. I think it was a cup and saucer and two little vases. I mean really small vases so I'm not sure whether to just put them somewhere or use them for something.
ETA - I would have used one of the vases to keep my wedding and engagement rings in, but I just bought a little purple butterfly shaped box from a chazzer last year for that very reason.2025 GOALS

Hi all, just back from getting my booster. They didn't want to give it to me, said I had had my lot until I said I have had a phone call from my doctor to get it. I hate it when you have to tell medical people their job, you can't book an appointment if you aren't eligible for it. Hmph! I always feel a bit wobbly after a jab, I think it's the adrenalin reaction so I am just having a coffee and a sit
I will definitely finish sorting those blasted take away containers today and I will have to get another load of wood in. OH is bound to be freezing at some point today
We have bats here as well and often see them in the evening whizzing around the gardens and so cleverly avoiding the trees in the area. Despite being very urban we do have quite a lot of wildlife around which is lovely.
@Mrs SD, yes I was a bit of a tomboy, climbing trees from the age of about 3 and running around with the dog. I was also my Dad's apprentice when jobs were being done, not that he was particularly brilliant but I was the son they lost, hence my love of footie. Mum taught me to knit and sew but I was much closer to my Dad, lovely memories
@Vulpix, I love the snow as well, it's the light and the quiet that I love. When I was on the 6am work shift I used to love being the first to make tracks on it. By home time was a different matter if the roads hadn't been gritted, sometimes very treacherous even here
161 covid jab
Take care everyone
