I'm missing one.................
OH just been talking to me, (thank goodness) but not about the hospital appoint. and their camera, but his work, he wants to go parttime and then retire 1 year early, I'm all for it, downside is his boss is away this week, so his chat with boss will have to wait to next week, he thinks they will say no to parttime, if they do, he will hand in 3 months notice and leave, I'm in full support of this, and just so glad he finally has a plan.Fed catsPut kitchen stuff away.Very cold and hard frost hereBreast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning all,
Ouch, ASB, take care. 760’ living is chilly enough for me! Yum, Jazee, bacon sandwich….licks lips…Up early for a non work day. DH has gone into the office, and then is out for dinner in the evening. He is starting to make a bit of a habit of this. I need to dash into small town to fill the car with petrol and grab a few bits - including some Christmas cards, a click and collect, and a ball of wool to make some last minute wrist warmers which have been requested - by DD - who else. I am supposed to then be going out with a friend to keep her company, otherwise I would have gone into town later. The roads are very white again, I have hills to negotiate.
Bedding changed and in the wm early. Clean washing sorted and bed remade. I need to dry my hair next. Lots of admin to catch up on later. It is never ending.8 -
Morning all. Came home yesterday evening. DS1 and I quickly sorted a tea tray, not water bottle, pillows and strategic placement of a chair to sit on while making my cuppa, whilst DH wrestled with unwrapping an adjustable support for my Kindle - gift from his DSis,, sure to be very useful, but the last thing I needed at that moment. I drank a mug of coffee, sent one email update to friends and family, and promptly fell asleep just after 8:00. Next thing I knew it was 04:20 and definitely time to test the tea-making kit and take pain killers!I
Rosie is very pleased to have me home and guarded me all night
I don't think I'll bother to venture downstairs today. It would mean having to look at the pile of stuff on the kitchen table. Sleep is far more attractive!7 -
Morning all xx
Good to hear that you are at home iona. Sleep is good. Stuff can wait. Mahoosive, but gentle, hugs heading your way. ❤
My -2 both day and night seems positively tropical after that asb. No blue skies and shiny frost though - fog, fog, fog. And, I suspect, very slippery underfoot, but I'll have to venture out at some point this week as I have to finish my Christmas shopping. I am terrified of falling as I'm no longer convinced that I could get back up. Something I rather took for granted until recently- when I got stuck on a low pouffe, and then on a low chair ..... way too much chubbage does not help!
I'm in the land of overwhelm at the moment. Which means very little progress in any direction. Which increases the pressure. Which increases the overwhelm.
Breathe!
