Laundry shuffle done and now the airer is empty again.
Towels and tea towels are swishing.
Pops phoned to ask for a lift into town to catch their coach on Sunday morning. Must make a note on my calendar. Plus pick upon Monday afternoon.
Cold and foggy here again.

Afternoon all
Thank you for the work that goes in to the lists x I’m in this week. 8 days of paid stuff left, I have a pretty huge to do list and no motivation. I feel permanently cold, tired and grouchy at the moment!
anyway, some flying has been done…
wm x 1
airer sorted
airing cupboard sorted just ironing pile in there now for dh
bed made
bedroom tidied
ensuite swished
very icy still here so I don’t think I will be venturing far I still have a bit of Xmas shopping to do so must get out at some point though!Boring meeting about to finish and no more today. Time to get some music on I think in the hope that it will get me powering through the list!Have a good day all x8 -
Evening all x
New bath is now in. It’s been an all day event. Plummer came and measured the bath went away got the bath then came back and fitted it then a joiner came and measured the side panel and went away to get one then fit it. However it’s done thank goodness.OH had hoovered up twice. I’ve done the grand total of make myself something to eat and get my rear to work. It’s too cold to go to work at half 4 you just want to be in your jammies in the house. Couple of Christmas nights out will be in later so hopefully it will be a quick shift.I'm not a muggle...I'm just magically challenged8 -
Evening all,
Thank you for the lists, and for all the hard work that goes into giving us all some order in our lives. Gentle flylady hugs to Valli and Ionafan. GWS wishes to all of Pigpen’s brood.
So glad that I am not alone in feeling totally flat about Christmas this year. Motivation and inspiration are definitely lacking. It isn’t helped that we are squeezing in 2 major hospital appointments for DD - one right before Christmas and another straight after new year - always a stress for us all.
Busy day at work. Was glad to have been offered a lift in as outside was white with frost and icy patches everywhere and driving was definitely not on my list of things that I wanted to do. It has been sub zero outside all day.
Flying has been limited to a towel wash before I left this morning, cooking stir fry dinner from the freezer (my cunning plan to squeeeeeeeeze the pack of pigs in blanket in), sweeping the kitchen floor and cleaning the sink. This evening I really have to sew up the finished jumper for DD’s Xmas present.6 -
Hi all
Well that's Monday done. So many different things going on with the paid stuff and so much to do in the next week. Deep breaths.
I had to drive in the freezing fog, like Fayolle I am not a fan. Oh and Fayolle I understand about the hospital stuff, hope the appointments go well x
Staff meeting in the morning, then need to fit in the hairdressers, then another meeting tomorrow night. Think I have 6 meetings before the end of the week. Flying will get squeezed in when I can. I did mop the floors this morning.7 -
Sorry to hear about the finger injury Kaz.Two Christmas puddings steamed at long last; that took all day. Accounts brought up to date and a bank reconilliation finished - I have three unexpected payments from various departments of HMG, one I think is a pensioner's winter thing, but the other two are odd amounts that don't have an explanation.Chicken cooked for Layla, still no word on what her scan showed the problem to be, DW x 1, still too wet to dry any laundry so that's piling up now, supper cooked for us and lovely guest Rosie. On my feet almost all day. I hope I don't regret that tomorrow.Really must write Christmas cards.Better is good enough.7

Morning all. Hope you're all ok today.
Today I want to start with admin. I need to do dailies, walk Poppet, change sofa covers, change bedding, get washing up to date, hoover through and clean window frames, indoors I might add! Only then will I start on the list.I have an exercise class this afternoon too, but will do a few stretches now.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Morning allHugs all round as ever. I fell rather awkwardly at the weekend on the field and now have several bruises and a very very sore neck. It’s times like this I really wish we had a bath I could soak in!Kids full of cold / grumpy with end of term lethargy. Flying non existent but my animals are happy which is the priority in this weather. Reading -9 outside this morning. The joys of 1200’foot living!
take care all xx8 -
Stretches done, admin done. Just having a bacon sandwich.Spend less now, work less later.8
