Raphael we also had a chicken done in the sc today, although it probably wasnt the best decision because I had to be logged back into work at 6.30pm for a meeting so it was a bit of a rush!

I’ve cleaned my bedroom and the LR, been shopping with DD, bumped into friend, had coffee. The bin is out.
am now in bed, stomach is bloated and uncomfortable but keeps deflating itself and it is both grim and uncontrollable. As my sister said, it’s the poison coming out…I clearly got a good chemo dose. You will have to dot the is and cross the ts for yourselves…. However it’s probably less uncomfortable than the more common (apparently) side effect of constipation.
And my mouth has a foul taste in it.
Got an early start tomorrow as my line flush is at 9:30

Morning all xx
The heating engineer arrived at 4.40pm - when I was beginning to resign myself to a cold night. By the time he left at 5.15 there was heat and hot water. Woot woot. It took the house a while to warm up, but, oh, the joy this morning when I heard the boiler fire up before I got out of bed.
My plans for yesterday were completely kyboshed. But, heyho, life happens.
I've won a hamper of Christmas goodies in a raffle. I bought two separate lots of raffle tickets from colleagues at work before I went off sick.....and won first prize in both. Ever wished you'd bought a lottery ticket?
Plans for today are a bit hazy. (I'm still recovering from yesterday's high anxiety.) I told Pops that I'd visit him today. And I'm calling to drop off DSiL's birthday card and present after 3.30pm.
In between I need to
Get dressed
Feed the birds
Put out the rubbish and recycling
Finish writing Christmas cards
Post Christmas cards
That'll do for starters.
Love to all
Rxx

Evening all, just to let you know I'm still awaiting cards from Valli and Piggers.
Due to the nature of the postal strikes I will be sending out all cards on the 14th December and praying they get to everyone in time. Unfortunately it is in the middle of the two day strike that week, and as there is a strike tomorrow and Monday I have no idea if the cards I'm waiting for will now arrive in time.. what I can do is send them on when they get to me, so you'll get the odd card on its own...
Bloody Royal Mail, I imagine there will be lots of people not getting their mail etc in time.Mortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

They will be lovely whenever the do arrive Natty. Don't forget there are 12 Days of Christmas and the first, as far as I'm concerned, is 25 December.I'm sorry you're having a testing time with the side effects of your treatment Valli. *healing vibes* heading your way.I've been far, far busier than I intended and it's been hectic but I'm now resting, which I've been looking forward to since first thing Tuesday morning. I was just about to toddle upstairs for it when a neighbour with two broken elbows asked for help to move some of his stuff into his new lodgings around the corner. *sigh* We did all the small stuff and I've said we can help again tomorrow afternoon but not tomorrow morning. I hate saying no but I just don't have the stamina to keep going all the time at the moment. Flying consisted of moving various bits of rubbish out of the way in the house the neighbour was moving out of while I hobbled about with boxes.Better is good enough.10

Hugs to Valli.
Fingers crossed everyone's heating devices stay in good order now.
- Got up early to scrape the car windscreen and head off for uni, seems not many ventured out early so I had an easy run and got there in time to make myself a coffee. Finished assessment in reasonable time so rang Mr N to meet me at the farm shop half way between home and uni so we could get a few goodies for DB's present. Topped up coffee bag before I left.......got shopping then started to feel hungry, realising I wouldn't have anything until 5ish (nothing since breakfast)....persuaded Mr N to have coffee and cake at farm shop. Big mistake. Way too much caffeine in one day so head spinning for the rest of it (and still vaguely whirling).
- went to drum lesson and got over-excited playing Christmas songs (having introduced a bemused and very young drum tutor to my favourite metal version of O Holy Night).....blame the coffee.
- went into card shop and got family 'special' cards
- got a few things from Mr T.
- wrote 2 lists: things to do before we go away tomorrow, and another of things to do before Christmas.
- spent evening working through lists. Mostly done.
- printed off details of charity donations to put inside family cards.
Tomorrow I have to:
- pack
- pick foliage and put together what I will need to assemble SIL and step SIL flower arrangements at Mum's
- re check list in case I've forgotten anything drastic
- usual pre-going-away tasks of filling bird feeders, emptying compost, checking fridge etc.
- take round any local cards
- try and do more of a report. 2 need to be done by next Thursday (1 is already started); 2 more would be great before Christmas.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8
