Cats trip to the vet went ok, cats 1 and 2 were very good, cat 3 as expected was very nervous, but did allow the vet to inspect him, unlike last time were he ran round and round the consulting room, so they are fit and well. Cat 2 may have something wrong with one of his ears, 'bring him back in Jan, we will need to knock him out for a short while'..........Logs and fire doneKitchen is doneBirds fed, pheasants chased by cat 1Toast eatenNeed to post paid for eby parcel. It seems this area is on a snopw alert for tomorrow.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning all,
Very thick frost here, no signs of it clearing any time soon.
I’m off to meet DD for lunch in uni city shortly. I have to walk 15 minutes to meet her, panic already slowly creeping in as I have never been to the city.
To fill my time in between checking the clock, I have done QHI, sorted airing cupboard, dusted (most) available surfaces, bought train ticket. Just how stressful can they make buying a ticket these days?? Phone is fully charged for the long trip….it is 38 minutes precisely on the train 🤣, not Outer Mongolia.
House is a tip. As the sun is shining today, it looks even worse. Christmas just isn’t happening here atm. Back to work tomorrow.
Ooohhh a boiler repair van has just pulled up outside, obviously lost. Sending him up to Round’s way with his skates on.
Try to keep warm all xx9 -

Having had the day off yesterday I have just picked up my work phone to find there's an ITV film crew going in today...the horror!
Bullet - dodged
Washed up, ironed 3 items and left to air, emptied DW. Am thanking lucky stars I left my the work phone at home. Have finally washed the paintbrushes.
Am having a rest (don't feel 100%) while I plan what's next

Evening ladies.Very little offical flying done, but animal chores & christmas stuff all up to date.Everyone but the baby noodle fed (her mice are defrosting), chameleon enclosure cleaned and axo tank water changed.I've managed to arrange a swapsie for my last 2 baby scorplings, for a tarantula I don't have yet, but we probably won't post until the new year. (Don't want the animals to be stuck in transit in this freezing weather with the postal strikes)I did recieve my early birthday present yesterday safe and sound, it was double boxed with a heat pack, so while the outer box was freezing, it was still toasty in the middle. Our oven packed up, it was on it's last legs anyway, so we knew it was imminent. Decided to go for a mid range air fryer in the meantime, rather than forking out a ton of money for a new oven. Bf decided to break it in with a roast.
We only bought a small one, as we usually only cook like 2 chicken breasts and a handful of chips, so the chicken was done in the slow cooker. Very sucessful.Debt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Hi all
Raphael we also had a chicken done in the sc today, although it probably wasnt the best decision because I had to be logged back into work at 6.30pm for a meeting so it was a bit of a rush!
Presentation done, I was nervous and the first few minutes were awful but by the end I didnt want to stop. Just glad it is done, I will not be rushing to do that again. People said I spoke really well but not sure if they were just being kind.
Round what a day for the boiler to break down. Hope it is fixed soon x
I missed a call from the chimney sweep, this bloke is so hard to get hold of, must try again tomorrow. I must also book a boiler service. I have two days wfh now, but I am a bit behind with my hours so need to get a decent day in tomorrow if I want to finish early on Friday. Will try and get some laundry done tomorrow too.
DS2 has sent me the rest of his Christmas wish list so I will have a look at that now while I enjoy some Baileys that was gifted to me and maybe listen to a few Christmas songs.8
