Busy morning here. Loving the pick and mix list. All jobs on the living room list done except I didn't vacuum the sofas, but I did freshen the covers. Also walked dog did admin, did workout, entered some competitions, changed bedding, got all washing done although on load is in machine, dusted flat surfaces in bedroom, cleaned all window frames and sills, did all dining room jobs from list, shined kitchen sink, did dailies and hoovered and mopped through.
Did another workout too and nearly 19k steps recorded today.
I'm now sitting down for rest of day. DH is making dinner.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
FFP.. I'm still streaming and Pixie is off today.. she should have stayed home yesterday but insisted on going to school.. but she has had some warm today and looking a bit happier.2x DW and I almost have clear work surfaces..shovelled some cat droppings.. the trays need shovelling but someone else can do that.
Hallway zippe dover with Feargal. It isn't perfect but it'll do.. slurped up the biscuit crumbs from the front room from DD1's visit this morning.. Lionel left the crumbs not DD1.
Spoke to Pixie's teacher and we made each other cry.. oops..
Having a cuppa.. and 'making room' for it.. and them I need to make an effort to do dinner.. and reload the DW.. this should clear the worksurfaces for the first time in 10 days! finally!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)9 -
Hi all
Busy old day. Yoga before work. Dentist done (no work needed thank goodness). Car is MOT'd and serviced. Library books swapped. In a minute I am going to go and run through my presentation on my own in a quiet room - I will be soooo glad when that is over tomorrow.
Gave myself 30 minutes to dust and hoover our bedroom, landing and LR while DH made pasta for dinner. Also changed our bed - the forecast is for sunshine tomorrow, wondering if I dare put another load in or whether that will just make it rain.
Lots of messages from DS today, guess he is feeling a bit poorly and fragile. Love to all our Flyladies suffering with the lurgy. There is a lot of it about.9 -
Hi ladies! Today I have achieved more than the entire week, last week!
I. Have. No. Washing. Or. Ironing. To. Do.
Ta-dah!
Also cleaned laundry room and wetroom, so both are sparkling and smelling fresh. I have sorted out all the pants and socks, plus the sports kits and put it all away! Go me!
Three bin bags of rubbish to go to the tip at the weekend (not all the pants lol)
Cup of Earl Grey and my feet up now. TTFN x10 -
Hi girlies
9 hours at the paid stuff, followed by the nativity and dinner. I have set the WM going and will get the dishes done first job. I have written a list for tomorrow that includes the very basics such as ‘get up and dressed’…. At least I will have something to tick off!WFH and should get lots done.
Sleep well all x9 -
I’ve had a proper day off, and been to my sister’s with mater and we have walked. A lot. And I haven’t succumbed to weariness. I’ve started on some ‘do not get ill’ tablets and am bloated. It’s uncomfortable.

Very pick and mix here, but managed a huge night's sleep which is the first in a while and set me up for today.
- gym swim
- dropped off to get Coop discount for the week and more stamps.
- DW on, done and put away
- various shop closing times checked and noted down. Our Christmas is in 2 main bits as usual; this Friday we go to my Mum's, will see BIL who lives near her, then take her up to my brother's area where DB, SIL, Step B and SIL always meet for a pub restaurant lunch. So.....have sorted out flower containers (1 arrangement to be done for DB and step B's household. I will collect foliage from my garden on Friday am and buy flowers from Mum's area on Sat, arrange them on Sunday). Have printed off stepB note detailing the charity we have donated to as their other 'present'. Same needs doing from DB and SIL Shop times needed as DB will get a food basket of 'posh' stuff, a few more bits need buying.
- milk cancelled for various days we're away.
- pretty much all the Christmas cards which have to be posted have been so done.
- I'm on schedule (which doesn't mean up to date) with report writing. In theory, the 2 I have left to write are the only ones which have to be finished before the end of term. Clearly I'm not going to do much this weekend although I'll try to set up templates and fill in the 'scores' before we go. We're back home on Monday eve so I'll have Tuesday to finish one. 4 more assessments to do before Christmas........
A few other things have been crossed off the never-ending list and Mr N has done some vacuuming and also taken all the plants into the greenhouse or conservatory which may struggle with the weather - I had to scrape the ice off the windscreen this morning.
Well that is enough rambling, I can do a bit more of this report.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.11 -
Morning xx
I'm up, made my bed and supped a brew. A creature of routine? Me? What makes you think that? 🤔
I brought a handful of Famous Five books from the RoD with me when I came down. I'll bring down the rest when I go up to get dressed. There's room on the wall unit in LR for them now.
Plan today includes:
Finish writing Christmas cards (just 10 left to do)
Finish Christmas present shopping
Post Christmas cards
Wrap DSil's birthday present
Also to do sometime:
Hand deliver Christmas cards
Pick up Christmas cards that Pops wants hand delivering
Wrap Christmas presents
Put up Christmas tree
Buy euros off DS - for Pops' birthday card - he flies to Benidorm for 8 weeks on his 88th birthday at the beginning of January.
Withdraw cash for DS birthday card
Tut. All these birthdays on top of Christmas! It's the same every year! Oh. Yeah. It would be wouldn't it? 🤣
Breakfast first.
Have a good day
Rxx
