seriously not worth the stress craftingmad. You deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. I'm afraid I would walk away today and not go back. He is clearly NOT going to change his behaviour.
Take care, at least you have I nice order to keep you busy xx

The only way you should stick this job is if it was that or not eat.  On second thoughts I think maybe not eating would be a better option.  He's like any person, he only treats people like this because he can.  You do not need it!

    Morning all,
Well the chippy shift went really well yesterday. We were not that busy and the boss was really lovely for the whole six hours. Think I will still look for another job though as I know how he can be and have worked out that he always seem to be worse when I am working with somebody else - I think he likes to show that he is in charge!!! I also got paid £194 so that helps to make me feel better about it for a while too knowing that all that money is going straight into the OP savings pot :)

I've got to pop into the city today as son needs a tie for his prom (its Thursday so I'm cutting it rather fine!!!)

I also have to get a wriggle on with my orders. the huge sticker order is taking a lot of time but at least both kids are helping me (but of course it is cutting into my profit levels as I'm having to pay them). Neither of them do anything for nothing these days - I cannot for the life of me think where they get it from  ;)

So my list today may look short, but the sticker order alone could take me all day (and the rest of the week):-
    1. Play on Mistplay - 2 points so far
    2. Work on huge sticker order
    3. Make seed packs for urgent order and post off - DONE :)
    4. Make two small orders and post off - DONE :)
    5. Make up proofs for two business card orders received
    6. Read the latest MSE newsletter
    7. Join Shop and Scan takeaway food panel to earn extra points
    8. Return shirt to ASOS - DONE :)
    9. Claim for Royal Mail lost large letters
    10. Resist the urge to buy too much in the City - DONE I didn't buy anything for me but sadly the kids found lots and we also got a KFC for lunch :(
    11. Cash in scratch cards - DONE £9 transferred to OP savings account :)
    12. Pay in chippy wages - DONE £194.50 transferred to OP savings account :)
    13. Transfer Etsy earnings - DONE £200.50 transferred to OP savings account :)

    Morning all.
Well my willpower to not spend much in the City deserted me it seems. Although I did not spend any money on myself (apart from a cheeky little KFC lunch as I had a real craving for chicken strips) the kids did hit Primark and H&M and I ended up spending a small fortune on them ! On the plus side we found the perfect tie colour in Next so son's prom suit is now all sorted - phew!!! I do have two other ties I need to return at some point though as I was madly grabbing any just to ensure we had a match  :D:D:D

Today will be mainly spent printing and cutting stickers for the large order but I do also have a 2 hour chippy shift over lunchtime and I have to go and get the puppy dog more chicken (she's a fussy fart and will only eat her biscuits with meat mixed in!!).
Son is working today as well so have to take him in for 10am and collect him around 3pm so I'll lose him cutting today so daughter and I will have to cut like our lives depend on it I think!!!!

Here is my little list for today:-

    1. Play on Mistplay - 2 points so far
    2. Work on huge sticker order  - printed another 50 sheets (500 stickers ready to cut out today)  200 stickers cut out gosh knows how many more to go :(
    3. Make up proofs for two business card orders received - DONE just need to wait for clients approval before I can print, cut and post :)One set printed and posted :)
    4. Make and post off order for order book required urgently - DONE :)
    5. Reply to enquiry for wholesale order - replied requesting more info so will quote as soon as this is received :)
    6. Read the latest MSE newsletter
    7. Join Shop and Scan takeaway food panel to earn extra points - DONE fingers crossed it helps me earn even more vouchers :)
    8. Claim for Royal Mail lost large letters - one claim submitted for £6.05 - having trouble with site to submit other one so will try again later :(
    9. Use coupon on Lidl app for 10% off shopping earned from last month - DONE saved £12.88 so transferred this amount over to OP savings pot :)
    10. Scan shopping for Shop and Scan - DONE :)
    11. Cash out reward voucher from Shop and Scan - requested voucher now just have to wait for email to confirm :)
    12. Chippy shift - DONE 2 hours so earned £21.80 :)
    Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.02

Hello from a very wet Norfolk Broads. What has happened to the weather? To think this time last week we were in sunny and warm Newquay seems so strange!!

Chippy shift yesterday was really easy as hardly anyone came in and I have just been told that the shop is shut this Sunday so I don't have a shift then. This means that my hours for this week will only be 6 as I am having tomorrow night off as it's my son's prom and I would not miss that for the world. Not looking quite as forward to my wages next week though - I've got used to getting so much more :(

Today is going to be spent printing and cutting stickers - really need to get a wiggle on if I am going to meet the clients deadline!!! On the plus side it should hopefully mean a NSD so that should help me get through the cramps in my fingers ;)

Here's my little list for today:-

    1. Play on Mistplay - DONE 157 points earned today :)
    2. Work on huge sticker order - started - target is 50 sheets (500 stickers) for me to cut today and then whatever the kids cut is a bonus ;)
    3. Print, cut and post off 100 business cards
    4. Reply to enquiry for wholesale order
    5. Read the latest MSE newsletter - DONE :)
    6. Claim for Royal Mail lost large letter
    7. Cash out reward voucher from Shop and Scan - DONE £10 transferred into OP savings account :)
    8. Update monthly finances spreadsheet - DONE made a £56.65 OP on our mortgage to take the balance to £100  (interest still to add on). So near but I refuse to pay the £225 fee for early payment so this mortgage can now just tick away for the last few years :)  The 1st BTL is now at less than £45K so this has made me happy ;)
    9. NSD  - I'm busy for the rest of the day cutting stickers so have transferred £5 into OP savings pot in readiness for a NSD day today :)

    Morning all.
Today is my son's prom day. He had a little wobble last night bless him about his suit and everything really as this type of thing is really not him at all but he wanted to go as all his mates are going. He looks lovely in his suit and it is so him with it's relaxed fit and quirky style so I hope he enjoys himself tonight.
I'm not sure who is more nervous - me or him! I'm sure he will have a great time though and I'm getting my tissues ready as I know there will be tears in my eyes tonight when I wave him off and rush to the venue to see him arrive.

Today will mainly be spent cutting out stickers again - I'm getting a bit stressed out with this order truth be told - even though my daughter and I seem to have spent the last few days cutting like our lives depend on it, we don't seem to be getting anywhere!
Fingers crossed today will be a good day and we will make lots of progress and we will get to see light at the end of the tunnel!

Not much else planned for today if I'm honest which is good as hopefully it will be another NSD for me (apart from having to pay the balance for sons prom car tonight £160).

My list feels a little boring these last few days (sorry) x

    1. Play on Mistplay - DONE 132 points earned today :)
    2. Work on huge sticker order - 50 stickers cut so far and more on printer printing as I type. Aiming for an ambitious 1000 stickers cut today including the kids helping me :)
    3. Print, cut and post off 100 business cards
    4. Make changes to logo design for client - DONE :)
    5. Reply to enquiry for wholesale order - DONE fingers crossed I get the order :)
    6. Claim for Royal Mail lost large letter
    7. Add sons take out food onto Food on the Go app for additional points
    8. NSD

    Good morning.

I'm feeling pretty tired tonight after a late night collecting our son from his prom.
He looked so handsome and only went and won best dressed male on the night. He's super stoked as his suit was so different to anyone else's (but oh so him and he looked fab) and he was having wobbles yesterday worrying about how he looked. I think it's done his confidence no end of good and he had a great night so smiles all round.

Today will again be spent madly cutting out stickers as I need to get the order posted by Tuesday at the very latest and am only half way there so far :(

On another positive note, our son's friend shared his ride in Lightning Macqueen to prom and his mum gave us half the cost to hire him which was totally unexpected and we didn't ask for anything as we were hiring it for our boy anyway so that is a bonus and I have transferred the £95 into the OP savings pot :)

We did have a cheeky little Chinese takeaway last night too as it was late by the time we got back from watching all the kids arrive which was lovely and my belly was very happy too.

I'm still waiting for the shift rotas for next week for the chippy so I can make plans for the week so fingers crossed they will be put out today - nothing like cutting it fine - my hours seem to be all over the place so I cannot even guess when I will be working apart from a Saturday evening!!! I'm hoping I might pick up a few more hours seeing as one person has left but who knows.

So here is my little list for today:-
    1. Play on Mistplay - 2 points earned so far
    2. Work on huge sticker order - 3000 out of the 5000 posted off today :)
    3. Print, cut and post off 100 business cards - DONE :)
    4. Print and post off 8 sheets of stickers for order - DONE :)
    5. Make changes to logo design for client - DONE and client has confirmed happy so now completed :)
    6. Claim for Royal Mail lost large letter
    7. Add sons take out food onto Food on the Go app for additional points  - DONE :)
    8. NSD - DONE no time to spend money - I've been far too busy cutting stickers. I've transferred £5 into the OP savings pot :)

    Good morning.

It's already hot on the Broads today. I'm not looking forward to my chippy shift this evening if it's still the temperature it is!!!
We made good progress on the stickers yesterday so I'm hoping we can do the same again today - I just want this order out of the way now - my hands and elbow hurt from the cutting and I never want to see another sticker for a very long time!!!
The only thing keeping me going is the amount of the order which allowed me to add a lot to the OP payment pot!!!

I finally got the rotas through for the next four weeks at the chippy and it looks like I am doing a lot more extra hours so that will help boost the OP savings pot by quite a lot - as long as I manage to bite my tongue with my boss and not tell him where to shove his job!!!

It's carnival weekend at the next village along from me so I may pop along there and take a little look but other than that I'm hoping today will be a very low spend day as the bank balance already looks low this month and we are only on 8th!!!

So here is my little list for today:-
    1. Play on Mistplay - 52 points so far today :)
    2. Work on huge sticker order - DONE lots cut out today now up to 3775/5000 :)
    3. Claim for Royal Mail lost large letter
    4. Submit Shop and Scan barcodes and receipts
    5. Low spend day (budget £5) - DONE actually a NSD so £5 transferred into OP savings pot :)
    6. Chippy shift

Morning all (actually I think I must have bored you with my sticker cutting and I'm now talking to myself now)

It is so hot here on the Norfolk Broads already. Glad I'm not in the chippy today :)
I am however going to spend most of the day cutting out stickers - what a surprise - but the good news is that I only have 1000 more to cut which should only take me two more days so hopefully my lists will get a bit more interesting very soon ;) I'm pretty bored with them now so you must all be too!

The chippy was manic busy yesterday which was hard work in the heat but on the plus side the boss did not have time to shout at me and I don't think I actually made any mistakes anyway so all good there. It was also pay day so I've got another £194 to pay into my account later today which will help me feel a little bit closer to getting these mortgages cleared although I do think I need to revisit our budgets and make plans to try and bring more cash in if we are ever going to clear them all in the 7 years target I have set us. That can go on my list once these pesky stickers have been cut!!

So here's my little list for today:-
    1. Play on Mistplay - 2 points so far today :)
    2. Work on huge sticker order - 450 stickers cut so far ;)
    3. Claim for Royal Mail lost large letter
    4. NSD - DONE £5 transferred into OP savings account :)
    5. Pay in cheque from Royal Mail for £6.06 for a lost order - DONE via the banking app so fingers crossed the photos are clear enough and it clears :)
    6. Pay in chippy wages - DONE £194 transferred into OP savings account :)
    7. Take a little bit of time for me as feel been working at 100 miles an hour for what feels like forever

    Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.02
