A lot of people may well not be posting because they are relying on email notifications which seem to have gone MIA. They are still available but seem to need restarting. Or more accurately turning off & then on again.

Thank you.
It's lovely to know I'm not rambling to myself xMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020 -
Good morning.
Later post from me today as OH has got a day off so we treated ourselves to a lie in
We are planning to paint son's bedroom today so that will keep us out of mischief for most of the day hopefully and more importantly stop us spending anymore money.
I was naughty yesterday as we had a chippy tea (and not the one I work at). It was lovely and perfect as I was shattered from all the running around I did yesterday. It's lovely to have daughter home again though
What with the painting and orders, I don't think I will get much done today but I live in hope so will post my not so little list and see how much I can get crossed off.
Let the challenge begin:-- Play on Mistplay - 64 points so far - aiming for 100
- Complete a Nectar survey - DONE 20 point survey completed and kicked out of 3 so 6 more points from those
- Load of washing dry outside - in washing machine
- Design proofs for business card and stickers received yesterday (I designed the customers logo and she was a pain in the bum so really not looking forward to it) - on to third set of proofs as, as expected customer is being a pain and not liking any fonts and changing her mind!)
- Make changes to business card proof sent yesterday - DONE and approved. Now just to print and cut
- Submit claim to Royal Mail for lost large letter - sadly realised this is for the one I just popped in the postbox on my way to holiday so no proof of postage to claim
- Find scrapbook albums advertised on FB Marketplace so I can work out postage costs
- Declutter last bit of landing and hallway
- Enter competitions - DONE 17 entered today
- Check free postcode lottery, Win a Dinner and Freemoji - DONE not a winner
- Complete a survey/searches on Inbox Pounds
- Complete a survey on Panelbase
- Complete surveys on Prime Opinion - DONE 82 point survey
- Complete an offer on Oh My Dosh
- Complete surveys on Shopper Thoughts
- Design and make one new item to list in Etsy shop
- Comment on in search of posts on FB to hopefully get some orders - DONE commented on7 posts so fingers crossed it translates into orders
- List one item on FB Marketplace
- Brainstorm new ideas on how to pay off our mortgages
- NSD - failed. Sadly nipped into LIdls and also had to buy another paint roller as hubby forgot and picked up some crisps and biscuits whilst in there too

Good morning.
It's a bit dull and damp here today. A good excuse to stay indoors and focus on moneysaving/making to get these mortgages cleared as quickly as we can
The expensive month continues as OH got a speeding letter through the post yesterdayFingers crossed he gets offered a speed awareness course rather than having a huge fine to pay (not keen on those now they are based on a percentage of your salary)!! Guess we will just have to wait and see how much it is going to cost us. I had stern words with him and told him he is not allowed anymore until the mortgages are paid off!!!!!
I'm busy taking both kids to and from work today and I must pop into Asda to get pizzas for dinner for tomorrow and I need petrol (well diesel) so its not going to be a cheap day for me sadly.
I've got a couple of orders to work on too so hopefully those and my little list should keep me out of mischief for the day
Son's bedrooms walls are looking nice and refreshed though but it has made me realise how bad the rest of the house is - guess I know what we will be doing on our days off in the near future then!!!
Here's my little list for today:-- Play on Mistplay - DONE - 157 points today
- Complete a Nectar survey - DONE 100 point survey completed but it was so long I lost the will to live!

Good morning. The sun is shining and I'm feeling motivated so I think it's going to be a good day.
I cannot believe how much my shopping cost in Asda yesterday. I only got a few bits and it was £130!!! Luckily I was able to use the rewards app and blue light discount so £9.22 went into my cash pot but even so. I'm not sure I believe that inflation is coming down
Not so much running around for me today as son has got a day off. My daughter needs to be in work for 5pm (however my shift at the chippy starts at 4.30pm and is in the wrong direction of hers) so she will have to go in an hour early. She will not be happy but hey ho - if she would concentrate on passing her test she wouldn't have too! I wish I could be in two places at once but sadly I have not mastered that skill yet!!
I could have picked up another 4 hours at the chippy yesterday but did not see the whatsapp message in time. That money would have been nice to throw at the mortgages but I did also enjoy a relaxing evening at home so trying not to beat myself up.
I don't feel like I have added anything to the OP pot for ages so I need to change that today so here's my (not so) little list:-- Play on Mistplay - DONE 229 points earned today
- Complete a Nectar survey - DONE 100 point survey completed and 2 points from a disqualification (annoying I was 55% completed)

- Make proof for nail planner for Etsy order - DONE now waiting customer to approve

- Declutter last bit of landing and hallway
- Enter competitions - DONE 12 comps entered today
- Check free postcode lottery, Win a Dinner and Freemoji - DONE not a winner
- Complete a survey/searches on Inbox Pounds - DONE 20p survey completed and 2p from spin to win
- Complete a survey on Panelbase
- Complete surveys on Prime Opinion
- Complete an offer on Oh My Dosh
- Complete surveys on Shopper Thoughts
- Design and make one new item to list in Etsy shop
- Comment on in search of posts on FB to hopefully get some orders
- List one item on FB Marketplace
- Explore an idea on my brainstorm list to try and get another income stream started
- NSD - DONE £5 transferred into OP savings account
- Chippy shift - DONE - I just survived and bite my tongue even though I wanted to tell him to shove his job!

@craftingmad I'm back now, I've caught up and I'm cheering you from the sidelines 😊Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases

It does seem a bit weird. Reading the thread different people seem to have different things happening or the same things but with different cures.I have quite a lot of bookmarked threads as I did that rather than notifications. When we first started this "update" it was showing 8 more than I actually had. The day after I first noticed that, it went down by 3 but is still showing 5 more than I have. Yes it is totally trivial & makes absolutely no difference to me. But to me it is an indication that all is not well.1

The same here regarding the number of bookmarks randomly increasing, decreasing and increasing again, as you say all is not well.Fashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases

Morning all.
Well I just about survived my chippy shift last night but the boss has stepped it up another gear!! All night I got yelled at that I was not working hard enough or fast enough or well enough despite not stopping once to even have a quick drink of water!. Somebody else has quit (poor girl it was her first job and her confidence is shattered) so you would think he would be going out of his way to retain the good staff he does have (even though he thinks I'm awful!) but apparently not. They are advertising for a new person (a 16 year old and a 14 year old have applied) and I just want to find their parents and tell them not to send their kids into that environment!!
I do it all again tonight - I can't wait
I have applied for a job in our local Burger King which is opening so fingers crossed but I have a feeling that they are looking for school leavers so they don't have to pay them as much but we shall see.
Another day of orders for me again.
Oh and I have to sort out a return label for the woman who was a right pain in the bottom - surprise surprise she has found fault with her business cards (I know they were perfect) and wants a refund (she originally wanted to keep her stickers for free but I have said as she bought at a discounted bundle price everything needs to come back). Normally I would say no but to be honest I just don't need the hassle so I'd rather get them all back and refund her. I've made a note not to do any further work for her.
On a positive note the sun is shining so that is helping my mood a little.
Here's my (not so) little list for today:-- Play on Mistplay - DONE 227 points earned today
- Complete a Nectar survey - DONE 80 point survey completed
- Make a prayer box for an Etsy order and post off - Made just waiting for glitter to dry and will then post off
- Print, bind and post off nail planner for Etsy order - made just got to post
- Find scrapbook albums advertised on FB Marketplace so I can work out postage costs - I've looked and I cannot find them anywhere. Will have to have a big sort out of the conservatory over the weekend I think!
