I still hurt quite a lot and the bruising is still coming out but luckily no broken bones as far as I'm aware.
I'm hoping to have an easy day again today to allow my body time to recover.Mortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.021 -
Good morning,
It's chucking it down with rain here today and feels very chilly for a July morning!!
I'm still feeling very sore and I've got lots more bruising coming out but I think that I don't hurt quite so much today as I did yesterday and I seem a bit more able to move about! Another restful day is called for though I think - I'm too old to be performing stunts these days it appears
So here's my little restful list for today:-- Play on Mistplay - 84 points so far - aiming for 100!
- Complete a Nectar survey
- Phone about winning £5 scratch card - DONE sadly they refuse to pay out even though they still make that card
- Make proof for order book book order received on Etsy - DONE

- Enter competitions - DONE 44 comps entered
- Check free postcode lottery, Win a Dinner and Freemoji - DONE not a winner
- Complete a survey/searches on Inbox Pounds
- Complete a survey on Panelbase
- Complete surveys on Prime Opinion
- Comment on in search of posts on FB to hopefully get some orders
- Explore an idea on my brainstorm list to try and get another income stream start
- Create a new item to sell on Etsy
- Meal plan for week and write shopping list - DONE going to aim for only a £50 shop this week and use up what I have
- NSD - DONE we did have a cheeky KFC for dinner but I had a take away one night on the list so I'm not counting that
- Rest my aching body - DONE sat making cards for most of the morning

Sorry to hear of your accident. I hope your boss had an incident form completed. Can you ask your OH to take photographs of your bruising in case you need them in the future? Very glad you are feeling slightly less sore.

Morning all.
The sun is shining which is fabulous as I have lots of loads of washing to do after being slack on chores the last few days!
Good news also in that I am able to move that little bit more again today so fingers crossed I will be inspired to get a little bit more done todayStill hurt but nowhere near as much as I have been so the healing process is obviously going well.
I was naughty last night as we went for a KFC for dinner on the way to collecting daughter from her day out in the City. It was just what we needed and there was a takeaway on the meal plan for Friday night so I've just moved the plan around a bitI'm still counting yesterday as NSD and have transferred the money into the OP savings account. It may be cheating but I needed that little boost
Both the kids are at work for most of the day (and typically need to both be in for 10am) so I'm going to have a grumpy child as one will have to go in early as I still have not yet mastered the art of being in two places at once! On the plus side it means the house will be a peaceful one so hopefully I will achieve lots today.
My puppy doggy had an upset tummy yesterday (knowing her she has eaten something she shouldn't - my money is on my daughters snotty tissues which she leaves all over the house!!!) so she has been on a rice diet since last night much to her disgust but fingers crossed that will settle her stomach and she will be on the mend again very soon without a nasty vets bill!
Here's my (not so) little list for today:-- Play on Mistplay - DONE 126 points earned today
- Complete a Nectar survey - DONE completed 2 surveys for 60 points in total and 4 points from DQ surveys
- Zap barcodes and receipt from yesterday's small Morrisons shop by hubby - DONE
- Register takeaway KFC onto Food on The Go app to earn extra points - DONE
- Three loads of washing dry outside before the rain comes tonight - first load in and found £1.75 in peoples pockets so that has now been added into the OP savings account (we have a rule in this house that any money in pockets of items in wash basket is mine to keep)
1st line on line and 2nd load now washing
It's now raining so no more washing for me
- Make up and post off order book from Etsy order - made and ready to post
- Enter competitions - DONE 28 comps entered
- Chase up for £4.70 refund due from recent craft supplies order as postage was underpaid - DONE should be being credited in the next few days
- Check free postcode lottery, Win a Dinner and Freemoji - DONE nota winner
- Complete a survey/searches on Inbox Pounds - DONE 7p from searches, 8p from spin to win and 25p from a really long survey
- Complete a survey on Panelbase - DQ from two surveys and no more to try
- Complete surveys on Prime Opinion - DONE 48 points earned from two surveys
- Comment on in search of posts on FB to hopefully get some orders - DONE commented on 5 already and hope to find more throughout the day
- Schedule social media posts for the rest of this week (I'm getting really bad at posting and need to keep up my presence to hopefully get more orders) - posted for today but ran out of time to schedule
- Get rid of 5 things from the conservatory
- Design and make one new item to list on Etsy
- List something for sale on FB Marketplace
- Explore an idea on my brainstorm list to try and get another income stream start
- NSD - DONE £5 transferred to OP savings account

Good morning from a sunny (at the moment) Norfolk Broads.
Well something exciting (for me anyway) happened yesterday. I saw another local chippy advertising for staff so I contacted them and had a trial shift with them last night. The boss is the polar opposite of the one I have currently and is just a lovely man (as are the other ladies I worked with). He kept telling me how wonderful I was and how great I was doing and was full of encouragement and chat. They have offered me a job which I'm so happy about but I also strangely have a loyalty to the chip shop I currently work in. I have told the new boss that I will have to work notice at the my current job of two weeks which he totally respects so I'm sort of hoping that existing boss goes back to his ars*y ways and it makes it easy for me to tell him that I'm leaving. The good news about this new position is that they have lots more staff so I won't have to work anywhere need as hard as I do at the existing one (although it is 40p an hour less money). I'm feeling nervous but very happy.
Daughter is taking me out to watch the new Barbie movie this morning. She has seen it twice already but I wanted to watch it so she has volunteered to take me today. When I say take me that actually means that she will go with me but I will drive us there and pay for tickets and popcorn etcI'm not going to lie I am a tad excited even though I was a Sindy girl growing up
Both kids are in work this evening so I've got the usual juggle with getting them both to work at the same time but I think they are slowly coming round to the fact that they have to get to work a bit earlier every now and again and giving me far less grief about it. Famous last words now - you just watch!!!
As the kids are both in work tonight I'm going to try and leave it another day until I go food shopping. OH and I can have a strange conconction for dinner if need be
So here's my (not so) little list for today:-- Play on Mistplay - 29 points won but aiming for 100 today
- Complete a Nectar survey - DONE survey for 60 points and timed out of one so further 2 points added
- Two loads of washing dry outside before the rain comes tonight - first load on the line
- Chase up logo required for a nail planner order from Etsy - DONE
- Contact First Active and stop overpayments so as to avoid early redemption penalties
- Set up DD of £100 (the OP we were making on our own mortgage) to go into savings account
- Enter competitions - DONE 27 entered
- Check to see if £4.70 refund for under postage on order has been received not received yet
- Post off OH's speeding fine documentation so as to avoid it getting any higher
DONE
- Check free postcode lottery, Win a Dinner and Freemoji - DONE not a winner
- Complete a survey/searches on Inbox Pounds - DONE two surveys for 25p each, 7p from searches and 8p from spin to win
Little amounts but adding up slowly
- Complete a survey on Panelbase - no surveys available
- Complete surveys on Prime Opinion - DONE survey for 98 points
- Comment on in search of posts on FB to hopefully get some orders
- Schedule social media posts for the rest of this week (I'm getting really bad at posting and need to keep up my presence to hopefully get more orders)
- Get rid of 5 things from the conservatory
- Design and make one new item to list on Etsy
- List something for sale on FB Marketplace
- Explore an idea on my brainstorm list to try and get another income stream start
- Renew library books to avoid fines - DONE

I'm very pleased to hear you are taking steps to leave your bullying boss. 40p/hour is a small price to pay to be out of such a toxic work environment.
