It doesn't sound like the new cafe owners have a clue, if they are not careful their investment will be worth nothing because of their actions or lack there of.

The problems with your tenants aren't helping either.

Come and join me in shedding a few tears, the menopause is making my life difficult today.

I hope your day improves 🤗
so sorry to hear the menopause is making your life difficult too - its hell isnt it :(
Hope today has been better for you x

Boo to the tenants and the new owners! What are the rules for asking tenants to vacate nowadays, is it worth trying to get them out and new ones in?

As for the cafe, you've proven several times that you are able to get jobs elsewhere, so do not stress yourself and find something else if needed. Life is too short to be worried and stressed about work, especially as it isn't even your business, they should be the ones stressed, not you!

    Take care of yourself x

P.S baileys_babe if you haven't heard of it already, please check out the 'We do not care club' it's an American lady on social media going through perimenopause and menopause and she is just hilarious and wonderful! ❤️

    Thanks Jessy x

The rules are all in the tenants favour but I can be creative if need be :) Sadly hubby wants to give them another chance so I have let him have his way - for now!!

You are so right about the cafe - I am going to try not to stress about it and just enjoy working there and then going home worry free at the end of each shift :)

OMG - I too checked out the "We do not care club". I LOVE it :) Thank you so much for making us aware of it :)

Sorry for the lack of posts - I've been too busy to get time to type anything out :(

However I had to share my BIG NEWS:-

As of today we officially own two houses without any mortgages :)
BTL1 was paid off in full today and boy it felt so good :)
That's two down and now only two to go :)

I'll post again later with another more boring update but I just wanted to share and celebrate our news with people who will understand our joy :)

OK lets get operation own BTL2 house outright back into action :)

I have a day at the cafe today - I'm still not sure what to do as yesterday I found myself thinking I just want to go home - I'm not even sure why as the people are lovely but there is just no atmosphere there anymore and it feels just like a job again - I know it is but do you know what I mean? I'm hoping that if I give it a bit more time things will start to feel normal there again. In the meantime I will just keep taking my wages as they do really help towards our mountain climb.

Hubby is round my  parents house today trying to get it looking better and hopefully sold. Think we are going to have to reduce the price again as nobody has even looked round it yet. Its annoying as we went with the lower end of what all the agents valued it at but clearly they must have all been wrong. Anybody with any recent experience of selling a house who can give us any advice? We need it sold!!!

On a positive note I have just been given £50 for looking after the cat the other week so that will be paid straight into the OP savings account :)

Right I've got to get to work so here comes my very ambitious list for today ;)

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - 7 points so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - no videos available :(
    3. Email selling agents to give them a kick up bum as still not changed details on Rightmove - DONE :)
    4. Design new logo designs for Etsy customer as she didn't like the last ones even though they were made by following her detailed brief
    5. Cafe shift (9am - 5pm) - DONE :)
    6. Write social media posts for this month
    7. Schedule social media posts for this month
    8. Comment on in search of posts to try and get new orders
    9. Check free postcode lottery - DONE not a winner :(
    10. Complete a prime opinion survey
    11. Declutter 5 things from the house
    12. Submit claim to Royal Mail for two lost parcels
    13. Make a plan on how to grow my business
    14. Take a course from one of my memberships
    15. Go through fridges and freeze anything going out of date - DONE :)
    16. NSD - DONE :)

Why am I not surprised 😄

I haven't sold a house for nearly 20 years so I might be completely out of touch, how quickly can you ditch these estate agents and get someone who will actually do their job?
