Glad you are at least thinking about resting and recharging 😁

Lots to ponder with the cafe jobs. I'm pleased the original cafe appreciates your worth. You are being generous to the new cafe owners, make sure you talk to them soon about your role and pay. Is it in your diary so it doesn't drag on?

Another famous craftingmad ambitious list 😆
Thanks Baileys. I managed a lovely walk with the doggo in the evening which was lovely. It was the perfect way to relax and unwind. I feel so much better for it :)

I hate conflict so am dreading having the chat with the new cafe owners but know but must be done. I have put a reminder in my phone to discuss it with them on Tuesday (as always less busy than Mondays) and told them I would like to discuss a few things so I am going to need to put on my "big girl pants" on that day ;) I will almost certainly need a pep talk the day before and on the actual day so I don't just roll over and take what they throw at me ;)

You know me - even my short lists are long ;)

Good morning. The sun is shining, I feel rested after my day off yesterday and I only have to go to work for 5 hours today - yay :)

Today I am determined to be as productive as I was yesterday and sow some money seeds which will help us with our ascent up our mortgage mountain :) In all honesty I actually felt like I hadn't really achieved much yesterday until I looked at my list and saw how many DONE there were so I'm feeling very accomplished :) Lets hope my productivity and motivation can continue today :)

The doggo still has an upset tummy so I will have to go out and buy some rice for her this evening after work and hope that settles it. There goes my NSD for today but at least it will be much cheaper than a trip to the vets :) Plus I go past Lidl's on my way home so I won't have to use any additional fuel to go and get it ;) Gosh I'm getting so tight since I started this challenge  :#

Other than that I intend to get a bit more washing done (where does it all come from!!) and work on my business and orders and then enjoy a quiet night in front of the tv with hubby.  I'm living the dream :)

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - 2 points earnt so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE 7 videos watched for total of 29p :)
    3. Get two loads of washing dry outside and put away - both loads are on the line and basking in the sunshine :)
    4. Design new logo designs for Etsy customer as she didn't like the last ones even though they were made by following her detailed brief
    5. Print A4 and bind order book for Etsy customer - printing as I type :)
    6. Punch seeded tags for website customer - DONE and ready to post off later :)
    7. Collect eggs from local seller ready to take to work on Monday (will give me a £2 profit and save me buying any expensive ones from the shop) - DONE :)
    8. Post off completed orders on way to work - DONE :)
    9. BK shift (12pm - 5pm) - DONE finished at 5.15pm so an extra 15 minutes wages :)
    10. Write social media posts for this month
    11. Schedule social media posts for this month
    12. Comment on in search of posts to try and get new orders
    13. Check free postcode lottery
    14. Complete a prime opinion survey
    15. Declutter 5 things from the house
    16. Submit claim to Royal Mail for two lost parcels
    17. Make a plan on how to grow my business
    18. Take a course from one of my memberships

    Good morning.

The sun is shining and its going to be another hot one I think. Yesterday at BK the temperature reached 47 degrees in our little container building so I'm not really looking forward to today's shift :( On the plus side it was so hot that it seemed to put people off eating so we were not that busy so that was ok although it made the shift go by quite slowly. I did also have to have an ice cream and treated the three people I was working with to one too - luckily we get 50% off so it came to £9.50 for big ice creams with all the sprinkles and saucy trimmings :) Money well spent I think as it was so hot. Hoping someone will treat me today ;)

Big news about the cafe - the other girl who does Thurs - Sat has quit. She sent them a message yesterday before her shift telling them she will not be back as she has got another job. I like to think this will put me in a  stronger position with them but it might also mean that they realise they don't need me and I will go too. Only time will tell and it is something I will bring up at our meeting on Tuesday. Watch this space.

Hubby has a day off today so he will be going to my parents house to do a few DIY jobs to get it looking better for viewings and also get them to sign the paperwork instructing the solicitors to act on the purchase of the bungalow in our close. I really want it to go as slowly as possible so we can hopefully get theirs sold and use that money rather than us using all our savings to buy it and then get paid back when theirs sold but the sellers are chasing for movement now so not sure how much longer I dare stall for without losing it. (Mum and dad really want the bungalow so its a fine line). Fingers crossed the estate agents do their job and we get some viewings on their bungalow very soon.

We were very naughty yesterday and enjoyed fish and chips by the seafront. I just wanted some air after being stuck inside hot kitchens for the last few days and it was just us two so we said sod it and treated ourselves. I
just need to hang on for next week with no treats now as we are away the following Mon - Weds celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary so will be eating out each night.

Right enough ramblings - time for action!

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - 2 points earnt so far :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - DONE 7 videos watched for total of 29p :)
    3. Transfer cafe wages into savings account - DONE £334.05 added into OP pot :)
    4. Get washing in off line and put away - DONE :)
    5. Design new logo designs for Etsy customer as she didn't like the last ones even though they were made by following her detailed brief
    6. Print sewing planner for Etsy order

    Morning all,

I'm feeling deflated today as yesterday we found out that we need to replace the boiler in one of our rental properties thanks to the tenant not telling us that it was not working properly for several weeks. It turns out it had a leak which has now taken out the main board so now the whole boiler needs replacing. It's going to be just over £4k with the labour as well so that means I have been working for the past 4 months for nothing :( The tenants in this house have been warned on at least 3 other occasions that they must report things to us as soon as they notice a problem as we have been saddled with big bills caused by damage from non reporting when it was originally just a small job on many occasions now. They used to be ok but since they decided to pack their jobs in and live on benefits three years ago we have had nothing but problems with them and huge bills to put things right :(   With this new expense it pretty much means that we are paying them to live in the property rather than it being profitable for us :( It's got me questioning whether to just enjoy life and spend all the money rather than worrying about our mortgage debt or even just not bother working at all :(

I also had the chat with the new owners of the cafe. It didn't really go well as I could not get a straight answer out of them for love or money. All the responsibility is definately on my shoulders as we had the EHO visit on Monday and it was all left to me. I now have to fill in paperwork for the Indian side of the business as they have no clue plus I had to help them register the business with the Council as they had not done it and I got it in the neck from the inspector. I don't mind the responsibility at all but not when I am on minimum wage!!! Things are just not the same there as the new owners don't seem to be worried by rules and regulations and I still have no reassurance from them that they are just using me until they find their feet :( I honestly don't know what to do :( I think I need to find time to have a long hard think about my next move and maybe start looking on Indeed to see if I can find something else to tide me over or try and get more hours at either of my other two jobs ;)

I'm going to post a list but honestly not really sure how much I will get done as I just feel like curling up in a ball and having a little cry - I blame the menopause :(

So today I HOPE I WILL:-
    1. Play on Mistplay (50 points target) - DONE 107 points  :)
    2. Watch videos on WeR8 - no videos available :(
    3. Design new logo designs for Etsy customer as she didn't like the last ones even though they were made by following her detailed brief
    4. Print sewing planner for Etsy order
    5. Cafe shift (9am - 6pm) - DONE :)

It doesn't sound like the new cafe owners have a clue, if they are not careful their investment will be worth nothing because of their actions or lack there of.

The problems with your tenants aren't helping either.

Come and join me in shedding a few tears, the menopause is making my life difficult today.

I hope your day improves 🤗

Boo to the tenants and the new owners! What are the rules for asking tenants to vacate nowadays, is it worth trying to get them out and new ones in?

As for the cafe, you've proven several times that you are able to get jobs elsewhere, so do not stress yourself and find something else if needed. Life is too short to be worried and stressed about work, especially as it isn't even your business, they should be the ones stressed, not you!

    Take care of yourself x

P.S baileys_babe if you haven't heard of it already, please check out the 'We do not care club' it's an American lady on social media going through perimenopause and menopause and she is just hilarious and wonderful! ❤️
