It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?
Please consider buying some pet food and giving it to your local food bank collection or animal charity. Animals aren't to blame for the cost of living crisis.0 -
Well up until the price hike my 3bed semi was about £65 a month electric so I don’t see why £150 for a property used 4 days a week is that much of a surprise0

you might be completely right (and probably are. you know your situation). but unless you share the meter readings and unit rate then we're going to feel uncomfortable about it and probably keep mentioning it.Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. The salon is not my domain, I don’t think it would be correct for me to post details of something that is not my own business, not that there is anything to hide. If there is a discrepancy with the bill and the usage it will get paid, but I’m quite confident it will be without the hassle sse are putting us through with our gift shop.0

but i would still say that if all you are using in the shop is some led lighting (and electric till, kettle and maybe radio) then even £800 for the shop feels high at the rates you say your on. if that does turn out to be right then you might want to spend some time trying to work out where the power is actually going (if somethings been left plugged into a back room and forgotten about)Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Why would they keep bringing it up.I mention sse trying to charge £7500 to run LED lights for 3 and a bit months and people say post the statements/meter reading, yet I mention the salon on a fixed rate dd of about £150 and people get their knickers in a twist and jump to say that’s low. Just comes across as some folk are strange.0

Regarding the meter change there should be sticker next to the new meter with the closing readings from the previous meter.
If you included that figure with the other requests you should be able to work out the actual annual use.
