I am as up to date as I can be on the mortgage application etc. I went for a 5 year fixed, as I hope to transition to self-employment and need to make sure my books are good before the next application.
Once I have got the house a bit straighter, mainly this is the living room, my office, and my bedroom. I will start to get overpaying, even if it's very nominal for next year. It will be important to get in the habit of it.
Locked myself out of my Premium Bond account, as my phone signal is so bad. I know I have over 1K - but want to confirm, I don't think I have updated that spreadsheet properly.
