Thank you Seaweed, not much happening at the moment! waiting for the bank to do the valuation and then I can instruct for a structural survey.

DD's birthday is today! We are going out for a family lunch.

Still, lots of things going on with work, feel like I am in a good position to negotiate, what my role may be. I am feeling positive about having options and choices. I am looking at a voluntary role in relation to the quality standards of a professional body. I am looking at lots of things to be honest!

The current dilemma is whether to pay the Choir subscription for the term, I may not be here for all of it! Reduced my Yoga subscription by £35 a month.

  • Had a very low spend day yesterday. One round of drinks. Dad sent £600 on my daughter's birthday lunch!

Was a nice get-together and we had a lovely time.

DD and her partner went off in their campervan and  I made a casserole and put it in the slow cooker.

My goodness, it's been a while since I have posted. Things are very much progressing, of somewhat slow.

Tomorrow is the structural survey / RICS 3. See if anything arises from that.  Then the searches....that may take some time I understand.

I have had a £700+ tax rebate, which has certainly helped. Gathering together the money for the conveyancing now.

I have been spending a lot of time with my choir buddies, soaking that up before I leave Brighton.

Also focusing on getting out and about in the local area for walks.

No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff.    Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

I am not a fan of Conveyance lawyers!

@LadyWithAPlan it really is exciting, but boy oh boy, it's like pulling teeth!
My daughter and her partner live close to where I will be; his company relocated from Tottenham Court Road to Burton on Trent...pre lockdown. I haven't had much luck finding a choir so far, but I have found a burlesque dance class!
