Thanks Lucielle, Skint, WD and Merlin
I have a lovely purple flowering plant in my lawn. It could be heavenly blue or something else I'm not sure. It has really delicate purple flowers. My apple trees are now in full bloom (I have three) and my cherry tree so feel very blessed by the display. Lots in flower at this time of year. Laurel in flower too... I have skimmia rubella in flower too but that has been for a while. My camilla isn't flowering but a peony is about to. I have one potato sprout come up from the 8 or 9 I planted the other day... hoping for more soon! I think this time of year is very energising.
Worked a really long day today as suddenly got in flow and decided to just go with it. Only finished 15 mins ago. I did have an hour's break at lunchtime though. I am now back in credit which is always good. I have to go into work tomorrow but my cleaner is due so should come back to a clean and tidy home. Then I have my counsellor Thursday night which will reduce my available work day. Swings and roundabouts.
Hope you are all doing well.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

My iPhone identifies plants for me now, maybe your phone does too? If you take a photo and go back in it asks if you want to identify.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000

WD - It's good that even kids know about No Mow May. Should help the pollinators.
Most of my beans have come up now. I think the soil was too dry and the house too cold while I was away.
My elec blanket broke this week - so waiting for a new controller - so used heating more. This latest controller only lasted 6 months - but the blanket had a 2 year guarantee so they're sorting it.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

There is an app called Plant Net that identifies plants with a photo4

The chap who mows our communal grass areas has started leaving nice little "meadow" areas around some of the trees where we've got big patches of red deadnettle growing - it looks so pretty! I suspect there is no chance of the council abiding by No Mow May - they can never be trusted to stop butchering hedges at the right time either!
I use iNaturalist (app) for plant ID's - it's very good and you can feed what you've seen back into the system for checking/confirmation and to help build the records of what is where, too.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thanks WD and EH - when it's sunny again I'll take a photo and try an app.
Went into work today. It was an alright day overall. Originally I was due to have to work through lunch but the meeting finished early so I went to a little outdoor van and got steak, chips, mushroom and onion and then sat outside in the sun to eat it. Bliss.
Cleaner has been and done a good job. DD had a driving lesson and then we had a good chat afterwards. She's at college tomorrow so I will need to be up early to give her a lift. Once she eventually passes she can drive herself... Looking forward to that.
I just cancelled my music subscription in time. I got it free for the last 6 months or much reduced not sure which.
Tomorrow I'm going to try and swap back to a cheaper sim for my mobile as they've just put the price up but are showing a cheaper price online so I will ask to be put on that and if they refuse I'll swap to an even cheaper one elsewhere. I hate moving sims though so hoping it's straightforward. I got sucked into looking at newer phones but while bright and shiny is always tempting I will try and keep it a while longer yet. Judging by when I bought phone cases it's at least 3 years old but could be more. Not really sure. However, one of the options I was looking at G Pixel 6a looked like it would only cost about £7 more a month than I spend now which was tempting. My current one is an Xperia 5 I think.
I think I may also be free to change my broadband now so will investigate that too.
I've listened to Landlines over the last few days. Really enjoyed it. Shows the power of getting out in nature and doing more... Need to find a way of translating that into reality in my life...
I need to decide what I'm doing about aud1bl3 as that's renewed at a monthly price and I need to decide if that's what I want or whether to stop it for a bit. I bought 3 credits while I was away and got a new one anyway this week so currently have 2 spare credits. I'm considering whether to buy the 24 pack again as an annual subscription around my birthday - and put any birthday money towards it or not. I do read and listen to a lot of books. Unfortunately my KU subscription is also about to end in a month's time. I've had 6 months for half price but it's still painful to go back to full price. I may cancel it to see if they then offer me another deal or not.
Unfortunately my NT membership runs out / renews towards the back end of May so I need to decide what to do about that too. You normally get a better price or other offers if you cancel than if you stay loyal....
Too much life admin although I'm happy these things are all small things. I still need to sort the big things like POA etc.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
